Hi all i'm looking for AOD theme making on samsung, but impossible to find any informations about this... :/ on the theme store, what 's the soft using for theme making ?
I need to make a very simple .apk AOD theme with a full black picture (to hide the Basic AOD by chosing the "Picture only" option), in complement of a LedNotification app. Maybe someone can help me to find a soft to do this ? or someone can do this for use ?

hello, I want to find a way to "remove" (or make transparent) my top taskbar, because with CHT 2.0 we get all the information that we want like time / messages /emails etc...
Is that possible ? I precise that I know HDwall but that's not the solution

It's possible to make it transparent, The background will be easy but icon will be more difficult but easy too!
You must find the dll who have the icon, i can't remember their name but when i could access to my kitchen i will send you the names !

It's something I've always wanted but never found (except through HDWalls/MaxManilla), which is a real shame. I suppose the easiest solution would be a complete set of transparent icons, but I've not seen them on XDA before.

Here is the XXJPS Extra slim & purple apk’s V2 pack ( new Dialer, almost .9.png resized now )
Perhaps you’ll be interested by this package if :
-you use English, Portuguese or French (all other locales removed). I thought some improvement should appear doing that (RAM space) but not … just a disk space gain. It’s done so I will not pull back missing locales, sorry for those who need other locales ! But you can add them if you know how.
-you’re running with XXJPS base
-you like purple color (screenshots link in my signature)
-you don’t use 5 lockscreens modd (framework is modded for extended power menu but not for 5 lockscreens)
-you want more space in your /system partition : mdpi/hdpi icons are properly converted into ldpi. Removed locales increase space too. For some apps this modd offers some improvement as the phone doesn’t need to resize icons in ldpi. Other improvment : shadows are disabled as it doesn't make a lot of sense on a low res device (in my opinion). Note that the .9.png files are properly modded so you can decompile/recompile apk without problems.
-you just want to extract some icons I made, like the 1% batt icons that are (too much) sharp but not blur (status bar is only 19pix high so It’s almost impossible to make a nice & readable icon). Some .psd files are available to facilitate color change if you want to.
Of course, before pushing the files, make a full backup ! we never know what could happen … and I do not take any kind of responsability . But it's working fine on my phone.
Hope someone else will enjoy that !

I've made some changes, and totally reworked the DialerTab which was too much pink. I also find a way to resize in automatic mode almost all the .9.png without loosing black border pixels ... I'm going to update the pack.
I thought too in a dark red theme, kind of dark red we can see in orientals carpets. Will try ... but it will take a while ... it's a f... job !

I didn't do that thinking that everyone would like to choose what he wants. If someone like GoLauncher the way it is it will be erased. If someone use 5lockscreens and want to keep it, he will loose it, etc ... there are a lot of combinations ...
so I don't know how to do ... perhaps doing various update.zip with coherent apps groups.
Any idea ?

I'm using the latest version of GO Launcher Theme Factory, and I've made a theme with around 30 icons, but I can't seem to add custom icons for other apps that aren't in GO's list. For example, I want to add a Nexflix icon for my theme, but I can't because when I double click on the add custom icon button, GO wants me to open an .apk file, not an image file. If anyone knows how to add a new icon to the list where it's actually an image file, or if anyone has an .apk file that I could download to my comp that has a bunch of custom icons listed (I'll make my own actual icons), that'd be great.

Just figured it out. Gonna put the solution here just in case any one else comes upon this thread:
The .apk refers to the .apk of the app whose icon you would like to customize.
So say, if you wanted to create a custom icon for Minecraft Pocket Ed, you'll need to add "Minecraft_Pocket_Edition_v0.1.2.apk" to GO Theme Factory via Icon Exchange> App Icon > Add/Delete App Icon > Custom Icons > "Add".
A dialogue box that says "Parsing" will be on screen for quite a while, then the icon will be added!

How to add a biggest icons to the theme? Like in Glass theme? Not 72x72. Something like 86x86 or even bigger.

Hello, when i try adding custom apk to add icons i get parsing error every time! Becausr some icons like music and downloads etc don't change with preset icons in the exchange. Thanks in advanced!

My firmware is KIW-L21C432B160 - german version.
A change of the desgn brings no solution.
The background with the SmartView cover is always the same, does not change.

I don't have a smartview case but, I suggest you to look in themes app and look for it
U can change by Emui theme editor>Open and select you loved theme and in edit add s-view section change or add background to your theme and save, apply the theme and enjoy

bro use the images download from third part apps like wallpapers craft because there will available in correct screen size ,or i ypu know the screen resolution of your phone ,just search for thr suitable images in google and put in s view

Just picked up a V30 and desperately want to change the window shade and settings menu backgrounds to black. I've started by taking a theme and beginning to reverse engineer it, but it would be much easier if someone would post a theme with full source, and/or the LG theme apk. Thanks!

In the themes section of settings, there's s theme called "high contrast". Wouldn't that theme do what you're seeking?
Yeah, that would fix the primary problem, though I'm not a huge fan of the Halloween orange hi-contrast switches. Since theme-ing the v30 appears to all be done the hard way, I'd like to help provide the resources for everyone to be able to edit themes themselves to customize whatever they'd like.
Adjusting to a locked up carried skinned phone is rough after coming from oneplus.
