I have the same issue also caused by a failed downgrade back to oreo, would greatly appreciate help.
The only response the phone gives at all is the red LED indicator. There is nothing on the screen no matter what key combination is used. When disconnected from USB, it is possible to get rid of the red LED by longpressing the power button. Longpressing anything after that will just bring back the LED.
There is no fastboot mode or recovery mode. The screen doesn't show anything. I mean, it would be much easier to fix if that was the case.
Hoping you can provide some help with my info...

I tried unlocking the bootloader and flashing cyanogenmod but must have done something wrong, as now it doesn't boot up whatsoever. I can put it in fastboot mode but nothing beyond that from what I can see. Light turns red when charging and if I hold power and volume up the light blinks, then blinks 3 times after a few more seconds - that's about it. Can't get into recovery mode either.
Is there any way to fix this?

Holding the power button and the volume + for a while will blink once(it will boot), and holding them both for a little longer will blink 3 times( turned off).
I suggest. You download the firmware for your tabZ and flash it using flash tool..
Make sure your tablet blinked 3 times before entering flashmode(that is power and volume -)..

Oh my god that actually worked! I didn't know of flashmode, only fastboot. It's back to factory settings it seems but I can easily work with this!
So I don't end up making another topic, what would be the best way to root it? Pretty wary of messing with it after that little scare
Here's the firmware I used if it matters
SGP311_10.4.1.B.0.109_CE.rar

Hello everyone . I am the owner of a Motorola Z XT1650. I recently made a downgrade from Oreo 8.0 to Nougat 7.0 and after that I made an update from Nougat 7.0 to Nougat 7.1.1. At that moment I managed to put my phone in hard brick. After long searches I managed to bring my phone back to life with the help of Blankflash. Only the phone refuses all adb fastboot commands. If you press the V- and Power buttons nothing happens. the phone goes off and lights up without going into the bootloader mode. It appears to me white: Bootloader logs, and under it red: Start up Failed: Yuor device didn`t start up successfully. Use your computer repair software to repair your device. The white color appears: Switch tools mode where they can change Tools mode config: Disabled or Enabled. Start appears in green. If I click Start I will send to the bootloader logs above with the Yuor device error did not start up successfully. I still have the factory, Recovery mode and restart bootloader, which are red and do not help me. If you press on v- and power does not appear the green robot with fastboot mode. The phone just goes out and on. and I still have white power off. Please help. I've attached some pictures. Someone was telling me something about gpt.bin.
I can not install TWRP, With adb if I try to give orders I refuse them one at a time. With rsd lite I'm giving error at step two even though she sees the phone. I have no idea. All the drivers are installed, everything is ok but the patient does not get up. Thank you .
Guys, desperately need your suggestions.
I've unlocked bootloader and tried to flash lineageos 16 [pie v9].
And run into bootloop problem. Phone showed up sh#tty g#ogle link, like:
https://g.co/ABH
Can't get into recovery mode..cant do anything.
Anyone run into such sort of problems?

If you can get the screen to at least display something. Plug your phone into your computer, hold the power and volume down button, when the screen turns black, release all buttons and quickly hold volume up, release when you see download mode appear. This should let you restore to a stock KDZ.

Guys I need help ...this morning my phone restarted while charging and got stuck on huawei logo screen. i tried different combinations of Power + Volume up and down buttons but it didnt go to any other screen. then i installed hisuite on my PC and connected to my phone through USB cable, and holding volume down button i got to this screen which says FAST BOOT&RESCUE MODE and further reads "Phone Locked" "FRP Lock" in the end below Android logo.
i want to access my phone contents and get backup as I have important files to recover. Please I need some help with detailed step by step procedure to help me get through without damaging my phone or its content. I am hoping some nice techie can write me the steps needed to be taken considering I am a complete noob.
Try forcing your way into the recovery and clearing cache
Vol up + power without having it plugged in
Just keep it pressed for 1 min + if you have to until you see the recovery
When the phone vibrates and turns on let go of the power button so it won't cycle

hi buddy,
i tried but no luck
Any news? I got one in the same condition. When its in eRecovery and i try to update it shows "can't get update info(or something like that)", it doesn't have factory reset button available, it doesn't have wipe button available. When I put it in fastboot, it shows Phone "Locked" and "FRP Lock".
Wtf do I do with this brick?
Thank you in advance! ( Be aware guys! I was scammed with it on the internet - full box, like new, and it doesn't even get into android)

Hi,
have you tried Emergency Backup?
- Turn off your phone and connect it to your computer using USB cable. Press and hold the Volume Up and Power Button for 15 seconds, until the device restarts and enters the eRecovery mode. Select "Emergency backup" . Works on EMUI 9.1 only!
IMO theres no other way to save your data...

That sucks, I think I got exactly the same problem, have tried all kind of combinations. Only different appearing window is fastboot but that is totally useless as the device doesnt appear on Hisuite either. What happens when the batter totally drains ?

Phone does not turn off, and whatever button you press it just keeps showing Huawei start screen except for volume down and power button combination which opens fast boot window. Do you how to connect the device to laptop while in fastboot mode? We have tried fastboot commands on terminal but didnt get anywhere with file recovery...
so no solution?
U can do it, but u need dissasembly the phone, to make test point, if phone isn't hw damaged yes u can fix it in that way
hi may I ask if you have resolved the problem? Been experiencing the same problem when my huawei p20 lite got stuck on a startup logo screen
same problem with me, phone is stuck on start up logo, not moving anywhere despite using all the tricks, any solutions, anyone have?
Hi, I have same problem. Stuck on HUAWEI logo and power off do restart.
Phone is with last stock FW, FRP and BOOTL. locked. I tried update from SD card, but no succes. All buttons combinations not working except fastboot. But in fastboot, there is no possibility to do something due to locked btldr.
But I have one advantage, I have same phone model with same firmware working. Is there any possibility to recover bad piece?
*bump*
anyone who fixed this ?

Power off completely, hold only volume up and plug into a power source. This will get you into erecovery mode. Choose *Update and recovery* and it will download and Flash the latest update for your device, you shouldn't even need to wipe or anything.

i did tried it but for some reason it still failed to flash the latest update i'm so frustrated.
Go to a Huawei Service Center and have them fix it.
