Hi,
Found a very weird problem happening since a week.
My PUBG keeps on crashing in between gameplay or sometimes even while in lobby.
Turns out its just happening on my rooted device.
Can someone please help me with the solution.
ROM tried.
1. Miui 10.3.8
2. MIUI 11
3. Pixel Experience
4. Pixel experience Plus
-Wipe Dalvik, cache, system and internal
-Format data -> Yes
-flash MIUI 10.3.8
-Reboot!
Don't flash anything else! Don't flash Kernel (Even seshation, franko, etc)! Don't flash Magisk!
Download pubg and play.
I need root access on my phone. Is this problem universal or something to do with my device specifically.

Why? I honestly recomand sesh for gaming.
Everything ok on my phone. Try magisk latest.

Sorry but its only for find the issue, I'm not saying don't flash sesh anymore.
He just need to post feedback if it work without flashing kernel and Magisk. if it still crash, then it can be a bad ROM / wrong flash/ missing wipes.
If it work, then he can flash Magisk or Kernel, but one at the time. Then feedback then flash another.
Because some days ago I flashed Kernel + Magisk, COD crash when the game end, back to lobby, the game freeze. So when I saw MIUI 11 release, I just flash this and Magisk.

@saurabh_gudu just flash the ROM first, install PUBG and play. You can root later. Just to make sure all running well. And yes, clean flash please to make sure there isn't any settings from another ROM. play like 4 matches, small game. if it doesn't crash, flash Magisk, then play. Then flash sesh and play. This way you can find where is the problem, if is the ROM/Phone, Kernel or Magisk.
Tried everything already that you have said.
Came to conclusion that the issue was with gapps.
Tried both havoc and lineage os without gapps and pubg its working fine. Nevertheless was using poco as a secondary phone so can work without gapps

wow, this is very strange.
never see issue like that crashing the game.
OK.....SO I SOLVED THIS...HERE IS HOW...it was happening me after i updated apps from google play....i tried uninstalling updates one by one,,and playing game(naturally i cleared cache etc).......DO THIS.."UNINSTALL UPDATES OF EVERY APP WHICH YOU UPDATED BEFORE CRASHING STARTS" THEN Clear cache of pubg AND TRY (It works for me) i have to update apps one by one and see which one causing crash.....
Previously I had to Clean flash "Stock latest ROM" for solving,,,and same it was working till i not updated apps from google play... something wrong after updating app via gPlay.
And YES this is Strange Problem
you can test like this..Clean Install latest stock miui 11....root...play/hack pubg...nothing gonna happen..but once you updated apps using google play..it start crashing.

BTW bro...i am not getting same performance as your last version v2.0-65hz( it gives 60 fps on hot drops)..... its(latest) performing like stock...
EDIT : After 2 hours of hard-work.....i found solution...this problem is causing by "Google Chrome"...Uninstall "it OR its Updated version"...and pubg will work...

Holly s.... It was Chrome? I remember I had Chrome installed that time! Now I don't know because I'm using Brave browser. Is Chrome trying to take any information from phone without our knowledge?

Now I have Webview V80.x.x.x Something
I'll try using Bromite Webview, I'll Give update if it works or not.
Update :- Doesn't Work on bromite Webview either I've Disabled the Android Webview for now PUBGm Work Flawlessly......!

Lol as the title say this little post is about the recently released game called fate grand order or AKA "Fate/GO".
The thing is that I had to go completely stock to being able to play, I didn't went with official miui though, I'm using .eu but I just don't like it lol.
Even tho battery is great (with velvet) I miss the extra features and customisation of ROMs like RR etc.
Is there anyone here playing? And If so, did you was able to play outside MIUI? I tried several roms but I might have missed something. This game has the most annoying security I have ever seen before.
I know I probably won't get an answer but I had to try, I hope they are some fellas out there playing the game using their mido ;D

You can play it on stock with the bootloader unlocked? That's surprising. Anyway, you won't be able to do anything about it.

Yes is possible, they added support for MIUI not to long ago in jap version.
I guess I have no option other than multiroms but since MIUI doesn't support f2fs I gotta deal with ext4 sigh...

did you try using magisk hide?
is it a security/root issue?

it wont work on custom roms at all + other phones cant run it on custom roms as well
rooted or non rooted. They really stepped up their security man

a cm13 ROM got it to run by running a cm13 rom with a signed rom (basically a rom with "official" build type values)

Yea i tried with magisk 12 and 13 magisk hide none worked, the game security goes beyond that.
You got it to run in CM13? That would be surprising... as far as i know when you open the game it not only looks for root, but also looks for CM and LineageOS system files.
That's why i had to use MIUI which got official support by the game ( you couldn't play before either due to the dual app feature?) anyways.. i more less managed to set myself comfortable using miui, I installed SuperSu to being able to use Titanium, restore my apps then also blocked ads and changed the DPI modifiying the build.prop and once i was done with that i unrooted and went back to twrp and restored the boot.img to erase any trace of root.
(nevertheless i still hate MIUI)

I am running Fate GO on my phone running Resurrection Remix. And the solution is simple. You'll just have to flash the zip provided in this thread to your phone after doing a full unroot. RR is based on LineageOS so it worked. Not sure if it will work on other ROMs.

Hello, im using samsung galaxy note 2 (n7100) i tried install greenify on 2 custom android 5.1.1 rom first rom unoffical cm12.1 (from ivan meler) second rom aosp (maybe wrong) based android 5.1.1 rom (rom's name is " Nameless 2.1". I got bootloop in the first 5.1.1 while try install greenify 3.6 on package installer. A pop up appear and it said google play crashed and my phone freezed and i got bootloop. In second rom i got random reboot while installing greenify 3.6 on package manager but my phone succes booted but my all apps start to crash if i open they. And i see the greenify in app menu i tried open it but i got random restart again. Then i go to Twrp's file manager and i deleted the greeinfy and my problem solved. Then i go to play store and i tried download the greenify but play store gave error -505 (maybe 501 i dont remeber) code. Then i tried install greenify 3.5.4 but again same error.
In Two rom i installed Xposed 3.1.1 And i get the logs on second rom. And my last words Please help me i want install the greenify it is a magic for android for me.

S3 Neo here too running CM12.1. Everything crashes after installing either Greenify or Nova Launcher. Disabling with adb makes everything normal again.
Also, are you getting "There is an internal error with your device ...." error too?
No I don't get that message. My phone just crashes when I install Greenify and then he reboots itself. After reboot every app stops working.
It seems that more and more of us is getting this problem. Hope someone will help.

Greenify v3.6.x seems to cause issues to some people. Try an earlier version.

I don't think that anyone had this issue with the earlier versions. If you have this issue on earlier versions also, then it is possible that the problem lies elsewhere.
I didn't have problems with earlier versions before 3.6.x update. I downloaded older version and same thing happens

In that case check whether the update of ROM, kernel etc have anything to do with it.
If not, do a clean install of your ROM and then install an earlier version of Greenify.

I have the same problem on my Samsung Galaxy S1 Plus ( i9001 ) with CM 12.1 fresh clean install. Current version Greenify 3.9.5 crashes everything and I end up in a bootloop with optimising apps.
What version did you guys use???
Edit: Authy via YalpStore ends up the same. -.-" I deleted everything with authy in it's name via TWRP File Manager and it booted up again normal.
HI there have had the One plus X for around 9 months now and Im loving the phone, however I have been installing roms literally nearly every week trying to look for a good one (besides Oxygen OS) that doesn't crash on snapchat. Which is stable, can video, and doesn't crash? If anyone knows a rom like that that would be great

I've already installed all stable labeled ROMs and I think the only rom where Snapchat crashed/etc was oxygen is (with root actually) - I don't exactly understand what your problem is then?

No actually for me my one plus x crashes on custom roms but snapchat works perfectly on oxygen os.... What rom are u suggesting where snapchat DOESNT CRASH ETC?

Try a clean install wiping manually everything (system, data, internal & SD). Copy the files on a computer first.
Then flash AICP or ViperOS or JDC.
It should work

Only problem I've had with Snapchat on custom roms is that you have to sign in before you install SuperSu or Magisk. Otherwise it will just say "You're login has temporarily failed ". But it's worked perfectly fine on every custom rom I've tried (which has been a lot of them). It's working fine for me on PureNexus right now for instance.

Sweet thanks man atm I am in ACIP and it works only has like a crash once in a while not to annoying haha. if it crashes more i might try out PureNexus

If you use both su and xposed, use magisk version of both of them and it'll solve the crashing
Have the same problem with crashing snapchat on every custom rom. Now I'm running Linage 14.1 with magisk installed but it keeps crashing. Like OP said the only rom where snapchat seems stable is OOS. I haven tried to wipe internal storage yet. Please let me know if that helps.

Are there directions to help a relatively newbie install this? I've recently purchased a Mi Pad - and it has an unofficial ROM and I'm hoping to flash this one. The device came unlocked already.
First, I followed this link to flash TWRP: stuffcompare.com/blog/807/How-to-flash-TWRP-recovery-in-Mi-Pad4. But I'm not sure that's actually successful. I'm not sure how to boot into TWRP...

Press and hold volume up + power buttons untill You see MI logo.
After a while TWRP should boot

someone wrote about swapping two different Mi Accounts but... probably they already fixed it, it was not working for me a couple of hours ago.

Flashed but still little buggy for my taste (like the Power app crash sometimes installing apks, same bug on miui.it rom); China is more stable. is for daily use? Probably yes but have some troubles with games like PUBG

After you died in a game, PUBG remains locked in the death cam and doesn't quit automatically to the lobby. So you need to press back button to force the exit menu to appear

Ok, i'm wrong...it's a WiFi problem. No stable connection with 2.4 band, that's the problem

Hey guys, i'm not the dev however i requested a Mi9t/K20 build and help them with the initial release..
So guess what, here it is
Based on latest Xiaomi.eu 9.9.26, with the chinese vendor and fixed the bugs from v2 build.

Installation:
1 - With a unlocked bootloader, flash the latest TWRP.
2 - Make a nanodroid FULL BACKUP.
3 - Push your backup from the phone internal storage to your PC via USB Cable.
4 - Push the ROM zip to your internal storage.
5 - Wipe system.
6 - Flash the ROM.
7 - Format Data (not wipe, FORMAT).
8 - Reboot.
If you need to restore your backup, push the backup back from the PC to your phone internal storage after first boot.
ATTENTION!!:
Magisk only work if it's the stable 19.3 version!! 19.4 and 19.5 will cause bootloop!
If you like the ROM, donate to MMX Team, i'm not part of it so it wont go to me.

It has optimizations plus (and most important) the chinese vendor.
Also, some ppl had issues with FC on v2 of eu. So it had some apps repacked. Plenty of under the hood stuff

I have no lags on the UI (even on mi-globe). But i never used v2 as v2 FC for me.
So i would say yes.. but it depends on the cause of the lag. Can you describe better, like what ROM you have this lag and how exactly it occur?

on Xiaomi.eu 9.9.26 if you go to browser or some browser-app like, your phone will suddenly slow down for no reason.
Just a quick question please, since I didn't test Miui 11 roms up to now. I'm on Miroom 10.3.15 and 4pda's twrp. Will I mess something up if I just flash this through twrp or not? I see a lot of problems with bricked devices etc.

interesting, well, i don't face those issues (even though i don't use the stock browser) but webview apps work fine.
I would say that the ROM don't have this issue, as i never faced it. But it's a good idea if you test and give a feedback

It could.
You really need to follow the flash instructions on the OP to avoid issues.
But rememver, TWRP dev is still young so problem free flashing is never a thing atm.

I would say the trouble was the TWRP version. Many ppl faced this issue on all MIUI11 ROMs

I have the issue as well(xiaomi eu pie works fine).
When I open chrome or any browser and surfing the web it's getting into horrible stutters. That's the reason many ppl don't use Q based miui.
Can u open chrome - go into incognito tab and surfing the web? After ~1min or sometimes after ~10mins the whole phone gets rly slow and everything is stuttering. Not only web based stuff.

I have to admit that i use Opera, on opera it work fine, even though Chrome isn't Chominium as Opera.
Shame :\ i'll report to the dev that so maybe he can fix on the next build

What I meant was following given instructions from the OP....I'm just curious if it all goes smooth. Can I ask which twrp are you exactly using? And you updated from Miui stable or 9.8.15 Beta?
