Hi,
I need your help.
I am stuck in recovery mode.
I was in fast boot mode and I flashed recovery file for ICS and installed SU as per instructions.
I thought I have to disconnect the cable to go into recovery to install from SD Card and I did the same.
Now I have to get into fast boot mode to flash the original kernel.sin to get into normal mode.
Please help. I am stuck and I am trying to turn off the phone to get into fast boot.
Hold the power button and vol up for about 10 seconds, You will feel it vibrate...
Thanks a lot!!!
I was able to switch off the phone and was able to get into fast boot mode.
I flashed the kernel and I am able to see my home screen now.:good:
Have a Wonderful day/nite.

Glad i could help!
BUMP!
I'm having a similar problem. I managed to get the phone to fastboot mode, but when I wanted to flash the new firmware, Flashtool is stuck at the popup saying you need to unplug and replug the USB.
By stuck as in, there is no progress in Flashtool after I connected the phone in fastboot mode. Any help?
EDIT: Never mind. I tried to use a different Kernel again, and I managed to solve it. The one I use initially must be for GB.
Hi Guys,
After Updation my Xperia S is not Starting Up,
Can somebody tell me how to start it on ?
Hey Guys
This is my first post here and im a noob at this!!!
Well my Xperia Z2 D6053 running on 23.1.A.1.28 Recovery mode doesn't want to work
No i unlocked my boot loader using Fastboot and the key that i got from Sony's official website to unlock it. But when i boot my phone and try boot it into recovery pressing and holding the Volume Down key or the Volume up key (Or pressing one constantly when i feel my phone vibrate on startup) or even pressing both constantly one after another constantly or both together or whatever (The recovery boot way) it wont work...it just reboots normally with the Sony logo and so on.
So now i downloaded CWM and want to install the recovery for my phone and boot into recovery from there. But im not sure if this will brick my phone or not...here are my reasons:
1) My phones not rooted
2) I don't know if installing the Custom Recovery can brick it
3) I don't know if booting it into recovery through the app may brick it
4) And i don't know if there is a bug or something with my bootloader because it wont go into recovery mode although i did unlock the loader.
5) I don't know if trying to unlock it again in the same way will brick it or not.
Now i just want some help on this please! Any one who has been in this situation before please reply and let me know if i can do any of the above-mentioned reasons without bricking my phone or if you recommend anything else please tell me!!! Thank you!!!
Hey guys, I need some help urgently.I updated to the newest version of MIUI just now, and now my phone is stuck at boot. It just shows the MI logo and never goes past that.I can, however, access fastboot mode, but cannot power down the device. Can someone please tell me whether or not the phone is bricked, and how to recover from this situation?
Fastboot, reboot EDL and Mi FLash.

your phone is soft bricked, You need patched fastboot to reboot in EDL, a Fastboot ROM, and Mi Flash Tool. Goodluck.

It tells me Not enough space is available to process this command
No, I don't have access to the recovery.
I just switched to a newer version of MIflash.

Can you boot into twrp recovery? Turning off phone and doing power + volume up button. If yes you can try doing a factory reset.

Are you bootloader unlocked?
stuck on fastboot screen
Sir to be honest i am not a software person and possibly wont understand what you said, but ill explain in detail what exactly happened.
First I had purchased Mi a3 with android 9 and later i got an update saying android 10 the phone was working absolutely fine.
Today i received another update which mentioned android 10 and as usual i updated it and when i restarted the phone i directly got that fast boot screen.
I went thru so many websites regarding this issue but did not find any solution and almost everywhere it said to flash the phone.
So i tried to flash the phone, I downloaded firmware, miflash tool, abd drivers, after doing all this my phone is not being detected on my pc, i checked device manager and even i got links from XDA as well i followed that as well but still no luck on detection.
Upon finding the query on detection issue i found solutions to debug from my device but my device is not starting up so i even cant do debugging as well.
Please help.

Did you try to reset the phone using the recovery mode?
From switch off, press simultaneously for a few moments the Volume Up and Power Button.
you should enter in recovery mode and apply a factory reset.
this works for me
stuck on fastboot screen
I cannot enter the recovery mode when i press the buttons you said it again comes at fast boot screen and i tried to flash with mi flash tool but that flash process continuesly goes on and no changes in phone.

Unstuck it..?
But seriously, what kind of help do you expect? You haven't provided a single piece of information.
I don’t know what happened to my phone, but I booted up the phone and I get the error in the picture below. The boot loader is locked and I can’t unlock it, it says “flashing unlock is not allowed “ and I can’t access download mode or any mode except boot loader.
So is there anyway to revive my phone again? Maybe force unlock boot loader or flashing stock bios using fastboot?
Thank you for your time.

Press and hold power key to continue
You probably pressed power button which paused it from going further
That's the ugly Red safety warning, not the benign yellow one. As I understand, this is what happens if the bootloader is locked and one of the partitions fails its security check. All partitions must be completely stock when the bootloader is locked.
@runningnak3d described this somewhere, and I seem to recall it's a hard brick, or at least pretty hard. But I hope I'm wrong
