Hi everyone!
I'm new on this forum and i will need help fixing my huawei mediapad m1 S8-301L 8gb version. Device is trying to boot os but in a while it shows just white weird screen. Fastboot is working i guess, atleast i can flash the device through it. I've tried to flash boot/cache/userdata/recovery/system images but it doesn't help at all (gives still weird white screen in boot) so any ideas? Also fastboot erase command says remote: command not allowed. My tablet is in this condition because i tried to clean flash my stock os. Reason why i tried to clean flash my tablet is because i didn't get rid off kingoroot. If someone can help me with this situtation i will be thankful.

Did you get anywhere with this, tried dload stock rom I guess, do you still have the phone?!

i am new here and dont speal well english. but i will try tp explaine my problem.
i have a Mediapad FHD. I tried to flash the firmware from Mediapad Link. the experiment has been successful, but unfortunately with unpleasant side effects.
the device had a bootloop. when i powerd off, then after 10 second it startet automaticly.
i tried to flash the original firmware over sd-card, but it doesnt work. also its possible to start in fastboot.
can some help me please.

After i tried to root my tablet with "tookit" and now even after hard-reset it keeps rebooting even during Android Updating for the first use.
I'm kind new in the scene so please help me.
Hi try to flash every update.zip for a1 in toolbox thread if you get partition error. contact acer support, bootloader is locked so u cant flash system.img through fastboot
Hi I have an Allwinner A10 clone (Kurio 7), it is designed for kids but otherwise a standard android tablet.
After hours of googling I rooted and installed CWM & Gapps (not included in the stock ROM). So far so good.
The stock ROM was causing issues with some apps, it needed to go.
I flashed CM10 and it worked but no touch screen. It needed a compatibility flash to make it work. You can guess what's coming. I picked the wrong one and now the device does the following:
Reboot loop
Black screen (backlight though)
PWR+Vol up no longer gets to recovery
Vibrates constantly between reboots (due to wrong patch I'm guessing)
ADB picks up the device for a split second between reboots but "adb reboot recovery" does nothing. Even when using wait command.
Tried "fastboot flash recovery cwm.img" after wait command, no luck.
Is there anything else I can try?
I fixed this.
I used the GoClever TAB A73 ROM and instructions in their support/update/download area.
Sorry I cannot post links as I am still a newbie.
Anyway flashing using Livesuit this fixed the problem.

The LiveSuit pack is there for download, as well as the roms.
But there are three different 4.0 roms to choose from, and also a couple of 2.3 roms. I dont know which one he did use.
Since your Kurio 7 is bricked anyway, I guess you can try one by one and see if any of them work.
Please tell which one, if you succeed.
I need help with my mediapad S8-301L i can only get it to the logo screen on boot. and if i plug it in to my laptop i can get it in to fastboot mode. is there a way i can recover this device using fastboot????
i had rooted it and installed twrp like i had before. but due to formatting and starting a fresh to installing skygo i found my self rooting it again this time the same method bricked my device.... any help would be loved thanks in advance...

hi m8, did u manage to fix this issue? im currently experiencing the same thing with mine, its just sitting at The EE splash screen, i can access fastboot, but it will not flash the system.img located from the update file,
would love to find out if there was a fix to this, i can even find the original EE rom that came supplied with the device...
Did you solve this , mines bricked due to overheating n desperately need a list from /dev/block/platform/msmxxxxx/by_name
That way I can extract the update.app correctly

Hi everyone!
My friend's phone just bricked after an update from ASUS, unfortunately the phone have a locked bootloader and i can't find a way to fix it by myself.
I could really use your help for that because i assume that the only solution for now is RMA, but they'll keep it for more than 30 days and he really need his phone.
Things that i already tried:
* The drivers are properly installed.
* Fastboot can see the serial and tried "flash recovery" to check if it was already unlocked but it returned (remote: wrong signature of image !!!).
* Adb doesn't even show up for anything.
* Asus Flash Tool and i can't find the right model to continue, but i'm not very confident anyway.
* Zenfone Flash Tool and it can see the phone standing in fastboot but it can't connect.
Thanks in advance, i'll be deeply grateful for any help even if it don't work, if i figure out how to fix i'll leave my steps to help everyone in further needs.
Hey dude,
My ZD553KL has been stuck on the Zenfone loading screen after installing an OTA update (14.0400.1804.196). The phone would boot on the first boot after flashing some newer ROMS, and the phone would show the android encryption screen, restart and hang on the Zenfone screen again.
Flashing the WW 15.1809.405 ROM using stock recovery finally got my phone out of the loop. You can find the rom from the ASUS site under the ZD553KL drivers section, assuming you have the same device.
