I checked my status this morning and it now says:

Im more worried cause some peoples do say 2-3 week delay on status of the order but hopefully those who ordered fastest will get it on time I hear amazon is back ordered as well

I think this indicates that Sprint sold a lot.more phones than anticipated and had to cut wirefly short to meet their own obligation. Wirefly orderers should have been concerned when they hit the order button but they should especially be concerned about the s 4 shortage.

Same. I ordered mine the second that it was avaible to order and I have yet to get a email that it has shipped. I called Google last night and they said that it is still bing proccessed

Any correlation between order time and actually shipping??I completed my order @ 1159AM on the 13th(according to email).I got my UPS Tracking @ 409AM but no info available yet.Some say that they actually shipped the 14th so delivery should be Friday.Seems almost random though.Also,I wonder if selecting(link device to my account)has anything to do with shipping order.I;d assume that would take extra processing time.

Well I'm a UPS My Choice member so maybe I get more specific updates. If I go to the UPS site and put in my tracking number it simply tells me that a shipping label has been created. The email I got from UPS My Choice however lets me know the tracking number, the delivery date (11/16/2012) and the time of delivery (between 2:15PM and 6:15PM), along w/ the service used (2nd day air) and the shipper (Google Android)

I received my shipping confirmation at 4:40 a.m. EST. The tracking number is still not updated at UPS.com, but all that means is that the package hasn't been picked up from the warehouse by UPS and scanned into the system.
On a different note, since they seem to be shipping via UPS 2 day delivery, will it be delivered on Saturday or Monday?

Monday as they do not deliver on Saturday.

Pretty sure it will be Monday. UPS does not deliver on Saturday unless you pay an up charge for Saturday delivery.

You can also pay a fee to have them either hold it at the facility for pick up or they'll deliver it to a local UPS store for pick up as well. Not sure if they do any of that on Saturday. Again...the service is listed as 2nd day air, my shipping label was created today (123AM) and UPS My Choice has emailed me to let me know i'll have it in my hands tomorrow between 215 and 615pm, so that seems more like overnight shipping to me. <shrug>

Yeah the Play Store is going to have stock well before then. When the Nexus 7 sold out they also quoted the same 3 week timeframe but in a week and a half they were back up and running.
They don't have the 32 gig one and just 16 gig .again I can't touch till Xmas (gf rules lol) .it doesn't bother me waiting and still have my galaxy Tab to hold me over till then

hope you're right, might try to stop in to Staples tomorrow and see what they have to say.
so now instead of 17-24 days the Staples website says 28-32 business days, thats 6 WEEKS!
So I ordered on Saturday. Now my order status has changed to cancelled. I called staples and they said this is the way they handle pre-sale items. Basically we are just being put on a waiting list. A second order number will be created once they get stock and we won't actually get the product until after we receive a phone call from staples verifying that we are still interested. Only then will the order be placed.
Can anyone who also went this route check their order status to see if it also says cancelled?

Grrr!! Mine has been cancelled as well Not sure now whether to reorder or forget it....
Update: Just reordered... Now Expected delivery date is 01/10/2013!!!! I hope Google gets more 32gigs available at the Playstore or Walmart gets stock before then.

Same thing happened to me, too. If I can find the N10 anywhere else, I'll buy from there and call to truly cancel my order with Staples.
When i called about my order the lady said I'm still good .My preorder said it originally at the latest arrive Dec 27 .The cancelled order showing will be replaced with the actual shipment order when they get the tablet.first she said 6 weeks then she "wait your order will arrive at your place Dec 15th ."I ordered mine the day they started preordering .

I was told when I contacted staples is that the schedualed delivery is just a rough estimate. We can expect to receive it before or on the date stated.

I've learned that some retailers will say anything to seal the deal with your money. I saw the Google Play option as an opportunity to get the device in my hands faster. =)

I ordered from Staples 2 days back. Ordered 16GB on Nov 16th, received today on 20th and again ordered 32GB today on Google Play. Once it is shipped I will cancel the Staples order. Wondering what to do with the 16GB

I wouldn't have gotten a Free Zagg HD or been able to stack the $50 cash back from Best Buy with AT&T's trade-in offer. Also, AT&T's wouldn't have accepted my Palm Pixi Plus that I traded into HTC... haha
I sent in my one phone 2 weeks ago the 7th. It was not updated on the website yet. I contacted them and was told they have it and I should have my refund by 7/15. Going to wait till Friday to ask about the 2nd phone I sent it on the 9th. Got two HTC's One's. One is my wifes and the other is mine. Also got $160 in Best Buy gift cards for a upgrade promo with out a trade in.
