Front/face of BIP has come away from bezel - Amazfit

The front of the BIP has come away from the rest of the watch. It's still working fine but the adhesive that was keeping the front panel attached to the main part has lost its stickiness. I must upload a photo later as I'm describing it really poorly.
Anyone else have this problem and remedy it satisfactorily? Obviously I need some glue or some sort of sticky stuff to reattach it.....

Bip screen detached
I had the same issue, as did my son. I saved mine using Goop (a silicon type glue) and it's worked for months. My son tossed his.
Mine has worked for months abet the heart rate monitor stopped working and battery would only last for a week.
I bought another Bip

This happened to my sons as well - 14 mths old so just out of warranty. Unfortunately the screen fell off completely when he was training and smashed on the floor. Not particularly happy as there were no signs it was going to fall off.

[Q] Revived water-damaged SGS2 (almost - advice needed)

Hi everyone.
<SKIP> (if you don't like reading a lot)
So, I managed to do a very silly thing *slaps own wrist*. After spilling some food on my brand new pair of shorts, I chucked them straight in the washing machine without thinking. After about 5 minutes, I noticed a slight knocking noise coming from the washing machine, and alas, when I dug my hand in the water to try find the culprit item, I pulled out my drenched SGS2.
Now, as any technically-minded person does after such an incident, I immediately pulled out the battery, SIM card and memory card, and went sifting through my kitchen for rice. It was in the sealed bag of rice for about 1.5 weeks, after which I tried to turn it on. It worked! However, the touch screen wasn't responding, so bag into the bag.
Closer to two weeks, I took it out again. This time, everything seemingly worked fine! I did however notice while using the back camera that some residue from the water has stuck onto the rear camera lens. It also took me a while to notice that the bottom microphone isn't working, which defeats the point of having a phone.
Everything else works fine. I took it to a local repair shop (which I'm a bit doubtful of) and they came back to me saying they couldn't do anything.
</SKIP>
So, in conclusion, the bottom microphone isn't working (people can't hear me during calls), and the rear camera lens has residue on it (which can be seen when using the camera):
1) Assuming the warranty is now void due to water damage, do you think I should try my hand at replacing the microphone/USB board on my own? Has anybody done it, and has some pointers? Anyone know a good place to get these?
2) Is anyone aware if the camera area can be broken down to such a point that I can wipe the residue off the lens?
I'm tempted to just take it to another repair shop for them to try - really don't want to go to Samsung though, as they'll likely charge a small fortune.
Thanks for the help in advance,
MrP.

I replaced the earpiece (speaker) in my HTC HD2. It was a pain in the ass to tear down. I imagine that my SG2 would be even harder.
I found the earpiece on ebay for only about $10, and it even came with a few tools needed for the tear down (plastic pry tools). It was not for the faint of heart...meaning that I was stressed to the balls, and wasn't sure until it was over if I had destroyed my phone. So the microphone should be possible to replace, if you're careful and technically inclined.
The camera will also probably need to be replaced (although, you might find otherwise when you take it apart). The good news is that it shouldn't cost more than $20, but I have no idea really...just estimating. Here's a link to a guy's G+ post who did it click me.
If you look on google, you'll find youtube videos about the tear down and how to do it.
I'd watch those first to check the difficulty. I think I've also seen instructions somewhere, but don't remember exactly where.
Good luck. Stay calm and be careful.

[Q] EVO 3D Screen Problems

Hi guys, title says it all really, I have quite seriously water damaged my screen so I took the front panel off to see if I could see where this water is (it appears it has gone right through and destroyed my screen) anywho the water is not what is making the screen black. I took it all apart and then back together again just fine and it worked etc however when I touched something it always jumped tot he right, I thought it was either a little glue had slipped onto the screen or something was shorting out, I went back to the phone the next day and took the face off again to scrape the glue off, I put the screen back on and it is just black.
Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance, John.
There really is many things that could have gone wrong with water damage. The lcd itself, the digitizer, the ribbons, any part of the main board, all could have been shorted out.
Yeah I thought that but I am not sure if it is the water or me, as it all worked fine until I took it apart a second time, I think the best route is to order a new screen etc and fit it and hope for the best!

[Q] How brittle are the displays?

Okay. I'm on my second Z Ultra in the past 9 weeks. The first freezing and dying after 28 days.
The replacement appeared and I've been using it the past 5 weeks.
This morning I went for a walk with my dog and put the phone in the front pocket of my jeans. There was nothing else in the pocket; coins, keys, etc. to ensure the soft scratchable coating of the phone wasn't affected.
Came home 20 minutes later and received a call. When I retrieved the phone from the pocket there were cracks all across the front screen starting from the edge of the glass beside the on/off button.
Whilst the display lit up as normal behind, the phone functions; answering, etc. were inoperable.
Now it's galling that this phone has NEVER been dropped. I never had ANY impact on the phone; knocking into a doorway, etc. during my walk with my dog. So how come it just seemed to 'explode'?
Have sent it off to Sony's repair hub in the UK in the hope that they'll repair under warranty as there was NO accidental damage and the case around the point of where the screen breakage - like the rest of the case - doesn't have a scratch nor mark.
The Sale of Goods Act in Scotland states:
Customers do have a legal right to a refund, repair or
replacement if an item they purchased
• does not match the description
• is not of satisfactory quality
• is not fit for purpose
Fit for purpose surely includes phones that can be carried in a pocket without a screen cracking?
Opinions please...

Feel for ya man, that sucks. Worth reading the following thread:
http://www.xperiablog.net/2013/11/...ays-for-xperia-z-series-suggests-leaked-info/
It seems Sony is prepared for this and acknowledges it may be an issue. I wonder if there was an existing defect in your screen cos that shouldn't happen without dropping it.
Sent from my C6833 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Sorry man
In the first week that I had mine I managed to drop it from about 1.5 m out of my pocket while climbing on to a platform on to the concrete floor with no case, end result just the smallest of marks on the aluminium case on the bottom left. All in all I was impressed at how strong it was - seen a S4 dropped at work from the same hight, didn't fare so well.
I guess Xperia Z, Z Ultra and probably Z1 isn't a perfect match for pockets?!
Opinion
Hi, I have most of the smart phones & tablets that were produced since the early i-Mate until now and i keep them all, The best for me is the "Note III" but i can't hold only 1 cell phone as i need another phone number for work so i got the Z-Ultra
until now it has only a little scratch on the back glass but the point is that i used to get Samsungs for my wife and by the same week of purchase they fell either on floor, asphalt or anything and their screens(Digitizer or Panel) gets cracked easily, Since the release of the Z i liked it so i got it for her and i must say it fells on the floor at least 3 times a day and guess what, the device has nothing but little scratches on the side frame, It has a great build and quality, I will stick with Sony for my wife as its the only phone we have tried that can resist this much

Back cover curved??

Hi guys,
I have my z2 for a while now (2 years I think), and he has tried to beat down the floor sometimes and until now, hasn't been victorious.
So the thing is, after the last try, he has the back cover a little openned in the middle (I can see a little of the glue and can stick something between the cover and the phone), and also, has a little opening in the screen, just like the cover. After this, the buttons got a little strage too, need to press power and up too hard to work, down is ok.
I would like to now, if anyone has experienced that, and know what could it be, I haven't openned it yet as it need the adhesive to put the cover back and I don't have access to it in my city, have to order it online.
Thanks!!!
And sorry for the bad english.
It could be the battery swelling as its on it's last legs.
If it was mine I would remove the back cover to inspect the battery, before things got (possibly) much worse.
My Z2 is over two years old and the back cover started to lift adjacent to the charging port. The cause was the pcb spring contacts for the NFC antenna pushing against the cover, which I've subsequently remedied. The physical appearance and size of the battery is all good so I have no safety worries although it will need replacing simply due to its age and noticeable decrease in capacity.
The back cover was only raised about a millimetre but it was noticeable enough and annoying. There is no problem with screen separation.
If my problems were similar to yours I would immediately take off the back cover, remove the battery and fully inspect it for signs of swelling. A new rear gasket / seal is easier to remedy than a complete phone wrecked by a screwed battery.
Good luck :good:
I see, can I use it without the back cover?
Cause it would take something like 2 weeks to get the seal from internet.
Your problem is kind of like mine, but mine isn't in the nfc point, but in the battery point, just above her, I thought about it at first too, I'll see about it then! Tnks!
Google "Xperia Z2 teardown" and you will see that the battery occupies more-or-less the mid-to-lower part of the phone. If your screen and rear cover are bulging from the centre outwards then it *probably* is the battery swelling.
I removed my rear cover about 6 weeks ago and the gasket was mostly intact so after sorting the NFC contacts I just reattached it as-is. It's stayed in place so far, but I also have a CASE-MATE transparent polycarbonate rear cover that adds further protection.
Once I find a genuine Sony battery and replacement gasket at reasonable prices I will get them ordered. So far things are fine.
If you manage to keep the gasket intact like I did it should be fine to reattach the cover until you get a new one.
And even if your battery hasn't swelled it may also be worth replacing that too, considering it's 2 years old.
I see, I also use a case-mate to protect more, cant handle it without it, I guess I'll try to do it then, seriously? I thought that battery would last longer, I'll see into that, now it makes sense, the battery started to die faster a while ago, nice to know.
Thanks!
Just oppened it, It was the battery as discussed above. Thanks!
Now you know what the problem is its easy to sort it out.
Would be good if you post a pic of the battery.
Here it go:

Got pic from the the battery and the back curved.
Yeah it's obvious from the pics. I think you've caught it just in time.
A new gasket and battery and your Z2 will live maybe another 2 years :good:

Broke screen!

Fell off night stand 2 1/2 feet onto tile face down! Never had this issue before (Diztronic thin case) but it must have hit perfect to break the glass and it's got a nice spiderweb on the lower right hand corner!!!
To make matters worse it appears it has to be replaced with the display so $229 seems to be the going rate.
Before I get it fixed, my question is does anyone have recommendations, i.e. Samsung depot, ubreakifix, et al?
My phone was PERFECT, flawless and now I fear that it will come back looking less than 100%. My display is perfectly uniform and has no pink, etc. I just got a Note 9 and both displays look nearly identical.
What about water resistance? I don't normally dunk my phones but I'm concerned if/when I sell it.
I never use case's like this . Always buying 360 protection like Supcase ( In my s9+ SUPCASE ARES) with front layer of protection . I was using s7 with one of supcase's (Supcase Water Resistant) case it was inpristine condition. without any scratch or anything like it. Water resistans is always less if u do repair in services . They need to brake factory seal wich is IP68. Maybe ask i those who will repair your phone that seal will be water resistant. Wish you luck
My S9+ dropped a couple days ago when I was transferring out of the wheelchair. It hit a metal point on the edge which the plate glass saver did not save ? I was researching for a better case. Thank you ?
