Hi
Recently chat through the native Facebook app has been disabled, and they're now refering to their 'facebook messenger' app. The only problem with that app is, that I'm not able to disable notifications. It only give me two options --> "An hour" or "Until 8 P.M"... I don't care if anyone have wrote to me on facebook, so is there any "hack", that can solve my problem?

If you are on Jelly Bean or higher, you can long press on the notification, hit App Info and turn off the notifications there. Or just go to Settings / Applications/Application Manager and disable it there. Same thing, just whichever you find easier. If you don't use the app though, just disable it.
Hello, is it possible to disable the new Facebook message : "you must download Messenger" in message categorie via a mod (or other). Messages notification are present so "messages" tab might works , no ??

Facebook had introduced that it would not be able to chat from the app. You need to download the Messenger app from the play store.
Sorry about that.
Or use another FB app.
I am using Boost mode.Latest greenify ver and latest whatsapp version.ticked all the 3 options under xposed fw.auto hibernantion is on.even my mail app "solmail" doesnt show notifications nor do fb or twitter.
please any breakthrough ?
HUAWEI ASCEND G510-0200
Frst delete greenify app... nd see if dey wrk or not.... if dey wrk... den i stall greenify again... dnt hibernate fb watsapp nd chus wisely da options of experimental features
I had the same problem - whatsapp messages were not getting through even after i de-greenified it. I had to uninstall and then reinstall again. However, some of the settings seem to have persisted even though i deleted cache and all the other leftover files. now whatsapp messages are getting through, but wechat seems to get greenified even though for the new install i did not set it greenify and i don't think im getting messages on time. frustrating
Nevermind ... whatsapp messages are still not getting through normally after being on idle for a bit. How do i fix this???
I've already tried clearing cache+data and then uninstall but problem still persists. This is happening to whatsapp+qq+wechat for me ..

Hello,
I have installed several apps on my Huawei Honor 5X phone like Timely and DashClock that are supposed to support daydream mode and I wanted a clock to show up while my phone is charging. However, when I navigate to daydream I find no option to select these apps. All I find is 'Picture Rotation'. Another unrelated problem I have is that several apps when they launch the text messaging app launch 'Hangouts' as my app but then 'Hangouts' closes after giving a message ' In order to send a message via Hangouts select Hangouts as the SMS app'(not exact message but close). I don't want to message via Hangouts. How do I change this? Also how do I make Timely my default clock instead of the stock clock that comes with Android?
Bump....
Hi, I'm just wondering since huawei phones often have notification problems for e.g never getting notifications from third party apps (WhatsApp, Instagram) does the huawei honor 9 receive all notifications from third parry apps or do u have to go into settings to get notifications or do u not get them at all cause my honor 8 never receives notifications.
The for your time

Did you have to fiddle around in the settings a bit to get them?
I have big notification problems. Gmail notification are coming late, but even worse, WhatsApp notifications are only coming when I open the app. Strangely, WhatsApp has been working fine for the first couple of days, but now it's a nightmare. I have followed every guide for improving the notifications, but to no avail.

I had to go to
settings -> Apps -> settings (at the bottom) -> Special Access -> Ignore Optimisations -> All Apps
and then manually select each app I wanted to allow notifications for. Before that got almost nothing from any app except phone and messages. Since then I haven't had any problems

That was one of the first things I did. Still WhatsApp is refusing to notify my in time. And by the way, you can't select Gmail because it is not listed in All Apps.

No problem with notification..all working fine
I'm bringing up this thread because I'm having problems with my Honor 9 not showing Telegram notifications unless I open the app. It doesn't *always* happen, but it's very annoying nonetheless.
I'm not having this problem with any other app.
I've tried whitelisting telegram for battery optimization, but to no avail.
Is anyone else having this same issue or knows how to solve it?
I'm not using telegram.
For my others notifications are working fine but not the LED notification for some apps.
I suspect it's because the default color choosen by defaultfor se apps is just not working with honor9's.
Hi there,
can anyone confirm if Telegram notifications work please?
