Ulefone T1 Hard bricked * Not Charging + Vcom Port Disconnect* - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

When I tried to root my Ulefone T1 (MT6757T) it got hard bricked. Only Red LED light lights up while plugging USB cable. and also it frequently changes from Vcom, MTP, mode. So, I'm not able to perform a full software flash. The device neither jump to Download/ Fastboot mode and nor to Recovery. Also nothing happens after long pressing power button except toggle sound from PC if it connected to it. Please help me out to unbrick my Ulefone T1.

I do not have that phone but have you tried draining the battery completely? and then give it a light charge see if it goes into download mode using the right button combo?

As I saw most MediaTek phones flashes firmware in switch off mode. Mine also it directly catches up by SP flash while in switch off position. I think there will be a universal method for MTK devices. But, I can't find out. Anyway I will try this method. And will update the result soon.

i have tried that and still no change norhing happens on flash tools. but pc makes a noise when its connected to pc.

bricked sony z3v (can only access fastboot)

usually when i mess this phone up i am able to use the companion to flash it back to stock. i tryed to flash magisk and now the light flashes when plugged into a power source and the phone does not turn on at all. if i hold volume up while turning on it boots into fastboot mode because i see the blue light and i was able to use flashtool and its fastboot tools to flash system.sin from stock firmware but that has not made a difference. i have tried to get it into download mode(upgrade mode) by holding volume down but it continues to boot loop. if the device is not plugged into power and i hold volume down and power it boots into recovery and i click both safe mode and factory reset but both turn the device off. any ideas?

the only recovery available is the stock one that says power off, safe mode, continue boot, factory reset... none of them do anything....this device does have a locked bootloader, it uses a recovery like many motorola's do... its a software recovery so its gone lol
You should be able to use flash tool to flash the proper ftf file for your device. That is what you are trying to do right?

So, if you hit the flash button on flashtool, tick the flashmode and after preparing it asks you to power off your phone and plug your USB cable into your computer and then press the volume button "down" while plugging in the USB cable to your phone, It should enter flashmode and start a automated flash. This is not working?

I'm not understanding how it is bootlooping. Your phone should be off (power off) when holding down the volume button and plugging in the USB. Is your phone powering on at this point to bootloop? If so you might have hardware problems Is all I can think of.

the phone started bootlooping after flashing that zip. so that rules out hardware, and when i say boot loop i mean lights flash screen stays dark..im trying to figure out if there's a fancy way to fix this through fastboot
depends on wich ftf was used before and bootloader some of them can enter flashmode just by put on the otg cable
It was running 5.1.1 and it boots into fastboot when I hold volume up, but just lights and virbates when holding down for upgrade mode
Same problem. z3v, accidentally flashed a wrong firmware zip via TWRP.
Now if I push the power button, nothing happens.
A long push causes a short vibration and nothing else.
Yellow rest button does not change anything either.
If I connect it to the PC, the following happens: Red led lights up briefly, phone vibrates, green led lights up briefly; whole sequence cycles after that. Now the only thing I can do from there is hold volume up for a couple of seconds, then the phone enters fastboot mode. Blue led lights up continuously. Flashtool sees the phone in Fastboot mode.
However, where to go from here, I cannot see. Any advise?
I had this problem once. It might be your usb cable try a brand new one that rated for data also not just charging. I was trying to root my phone at work and it wouldnt work and when I got home I tried a different usb cable and it worked.,

I am no closer than when I posted this, until there is a bootloader unlock witch in theory can be done through fastboot, we are s.o.l.

aaa,It's very easy.you can use flashtool to flash a new system. but you must be in green light.only it.you also can be flash.sure,if your phone can't get into system,it only loop at"SONY".You touch the power and the volume up and down. keep 7s. then the phone will get into 3E RECOVERY,you chosed power down.and then the phonwill be power off. Now you can flash you phone.
If you phone can't get into green light.you can use the tool Z3X easy tool to save your phone.or it will be a brick.
my phone cant be start.it have became a brick. Good luck

Flashed TWRP to boot, no longer booting, no charge light

I realize my phone is probably completely busted, but I figured I'd ask for some suggestions. Accidently flashed twrp to boot, now phone will no longer boot whatsoever. Black screen and no charge light. Only good news is that my computer still recognizes it and plays the usb connected/disconnected sound when holding power buttons.
Any ideas? Can't get into recovery, fastboot, or anything at this point. Maybe I havent tried the correct combination of power buttons.

Try this. Download Xiaomi Miflash. Download latest Global/China image for Mido. Connect the phone via USB and see if miflash recognize it. If it did, just flash normally. I owned a Mi3 before, same thing happen to me. No light, nothing on screen but my PC recognize the phone and its partition so Miflash can still be use to flash any compatible image.
Tried this, nothing :'( Thanks for the suggestion though.
ADB and Fastboot not detecting this device anymore, either.
Hi,
if you connect to computer and there is a connection sound, device is powered on.
So try to hold power until it vibrate. Then very fast push volume down and power to access fastboot.
Try and you will see.
Can u boot into fastboot?

No fastboot huh? I believe the only option left out is what the service center guys do..DEEP FLASH.
Proceed at your own risk. Deep flash is the last resort when it comes to a software brick. But do a thorough research on it before proceeding. You might have to buy some stuff for it. Or the best thing I suggest you to do is take to the service center.

[help]unbrick xiaomi redmi 3 pro no fastboot no recovery!

Hi everyone i have a xiaomi redmi 3 pro i think because it has 4 gb of ram, and it doesnt on anymore. I was flashing the stock rom with twrp but it block the process, I turned off my phone and now it doesn't on. No fastboot, No recovery, nothing. The screen doesn't on.

Edit: I've found the solution.
1. go into EDL mode by pressing Power vol+ vol-
2. use miphone 20151028, don't use recent mi flash
3. Flash TWRP
4. Proceed to flash ROM (in my case i use RR Os) via TWRP
Hello, is it possible that I have my phone bricked after a battery replacement?
Heres what happened: I had obviously a battery problem. So I ordered one from ebay and I replaced it. The new battery seem to work, however the phone will not respond to the buttons. Not any buttons. Only if I plug in a cable, mi logo appears for a few seconds and then a big battery bar shows for a few more seconds. Then nothing. (If I put in the old battery and I plug in a cable, the reaction is the same BUT no battery bar appears). The phone does not respond to any buttons like vol +/- holding together with power on, etc. Any help? Thanks, Filip.

your battery/connector/header(on mainboard side) seems broken. battery usually does not impact any software. It's better if you open new thread specifically about your problem, so anyone can join to discuss further.

Question blinking red light - bricked?

Hi there friends I think I have managed to brick my so far but this lovely Xperia.
After testing flashing a lineage recovery to then install magisk which was fine I read about the SEA firmware unlocking VoLTE so I flashed that one with newflasher and it ran fine (although didn't unlock 4G) but then I decided to install magisk again and flashed the lineage recovery to boot_b (which was the active slot) and rebooted into recovery and my device does not come back. It is off and if I connect it the notification light just blinks red slowly. It does not appear in lsusb and I have tried holding vol up + power, vol down + power, vol up + vol down + power, for up to 30 seconds, it just won't come back to life
anybody else run into this and how did you revive it? Hope someone can help me

Keep it under charge a lot. Happened to me and it was at low level of charge, and it needed 4 hour to show again a light different from red. I never ever again start something under 90% charge.
Also don't charge connected to PC, it was too slow and from that state maybe you need 20 hours XD

I feel sorry for you brother...such a nice device...OK let's talk what happened, the state now your device is in is called hardbrick and it had a corrupted bootloader or no boot loader, but your device is still alive, in your PC in device manager it lists as Qs USB mode with some number after it like qsusb9008...now this device can only be brought to life with the help of a blankflash file which can flash your boot loader in snapdragon service mode...actually no snapdragon can be hardbricked permanently now you need appropriate blankflash file for your device.. Please don't open the device if some repairmen suggests to do JTAG nothing is necessary all you need is blankflash file which is shared to only Sony testers groups.... Who tests ROMs before release and they hardbrick so they share those files to them.... Please don't loose hope....it takes time but certainly it can be bought back to life... And dont try any flashing utility as there is no functional boot loader on it now and nothing will work...Sony won't provide that for sure and they will say then can only solve by mother board replacement ,don't believe therm your device is perfect it only needs blankflash file as it entered into final safe mode... I ain't regular on XDA if you need any info contact me via my mail [email protected] g ma I'll .com
