Yesterday i erased modemst1 modemst2 and fsg through fastboot and flashed them again respectively also i flashed NON-HLOS.bin from a kate global 10.2 rom then rooted my phone with twrp booted my phone and enabled diag mode opened qpst configuration then restored imei by loading qcn file after rebooting my phone saved my life now im using my beautiful RN3 as usual

Im from Pakistan i did measure and also droid hardware and cpu-Z gives me info that my device is kenzo
Do tell which is best custom rom for rn3 which of you are using now?

If u flashed kenzo fastboot rom on kate phone then even kate phone will show device info as kenzo. :laugh:
Kenzo is 150 cm
Modem files are unique and made for only that particular phone.
Before this Many users accidentally flashed kate fastboot rom on kenzo and destroyed imei, baseband and network before.
If kate modem files is working on ur phone means ur phone is actually kate which u r not aware of. There is zero chances that kenzo modem will accept kate files. Kate modem has additional bands specially enabled for TAIWAN.
Where Did u buy online or on shop? Check ur phone box ?? Must be special edition of rn3.
Rn3 pro is mostly sold in india. May be U got ur phone from china which sell special edition.

I did measure weight of it and it gave me 178kg haha I was surprised though... But I don't even know how to measure its size at home please suggest me how do I do it to confirm??

I have Indian Redmi Note 3 ( Snapdragon version, 3 gb 32GB), I am on stock MIUI Global StableVersion 7.2.5.0(LHOMIDA) . I want to flash Global Developer ROM on this .
I have a few queries
Q.1- Can I directly flash global developer ROM through Updater App without any boot loader unlocked issue or should I unlock the boot loader first?
Q.2 How can I flash Chinese ROM? The reason behind this is that Chinese version supports CDMA data facility which is missing in my global stable version at present I am using TATA cdma SIM in SIM slot 1, wherein voice call and sms works without any problem but data is not working probably because MEID is missing in global ROM ,so i guess that Chinese ROM will solve this issue. )

u can flash using the mi flash tool , the updater tool may or may not help. for the updater tool u will need a recovery rom and for the mi flash tool u will require a fastboot rom.

Yes you can! In my opinion, you unlock bootloader and flash recovery Cottage, than, you flash ROM zip over recovery.

no it isnt to install the factory roms, it is necessary to unlock only if you want custom rom or if you want TWRP and then a proper root
So that means that I can update to global ROM using inbuilt updater app.?
Kindly clarify once again as somebody in the forum said that it is mandatory to go for bootloader unlock before update?
I don't think you should unlock bootloader or install Chinese rom I have been using reliance cdma in redmi note 3 India without any trick just use sim slot 2 for cdma
Definitely it will work just make sure remove sim from slot 1 n after putting n reboot ing with cdma sim then only put any sim in slot 1

OK guys.. Here is an update. I flashed beta developer ROM easily over stable global ROM through updater app but my CDMA data issue was not solved. CDMA data is still not working.
I am in the planning to flash Chinese ROM . let me know if I flash Chinese ROM will it show MEID number as global ROM shows zero(0) in MEID field.
I also have the same problem. I am also using Reliance CDMA and the data is not working. I am still on MIUI Global 7.2.2.0 (LHOMIDA). I have not yet updated it to 7.2.2.5 because everything is working fine and the phone is in pink of its health. I heard that 7.2.2.5 is causing some WiFi related issue. If the data is still not working then there is no point in taking the risk.
I am still searching If there is any way to start the data in Reliance CDMA.
Hi! I don't know what to do... buy the kenzo version (the one that almost everyone have it) or the Kate special edition (with the 4g B20 band unlocked, which is now available to buy in aliexpress). Kenzo has a lots of developers but Kate has Android 6.0 and everyone who has flashed the rom said that is far better than the other roms. What would you do?

I will wait for someone to correct me.
I'm also interested to know.. Looks like the only difference is that Kate has more 4G bands (hence the bigger size, to handle more antennas)..

Hi there i bought this Phone since it came out and it came with a vender rom 7.1.99.99.everything worked well but only 2g so i searched forums and was told me that was because of this rom.so i ended up flashing all ROMs via fastboot and the results were all the same no 3g or 4g untill i updated to latest miui8 global dev.at first reboot it showed h+ but its gone again.so i have no clube how to get at least h+ on this Phone.t tried modem dump code and *#*#4636#*#* with no success.gone to myphone will work website and the says my Phone is compatible in my country.t tried all those website tricks and im almost giving up on xiaomi.is there a way to see if modem is limited to China ?or something else.at first tought maybe was a hardware problema but somehow it caught 3g at some point.plz help me fix this.

You live in an area without 3g/4g cover or you have an problem with hardware
My HTC desire 628 was completely dead after flashing wrong rom by sp flash. I use format all+download that's why my phone preloader is delated. My phone now didn't power up & charge. My pc detects my phone for 3-4 second. I flash various version firmware of htc desire 628 but nothing happen. Flashing is 100% complete by sp flash but phone not power up. So any body can give me the full backup rom zip file of htc desire 628. Or anybody have the solution for this.
Note: my phone is completely dead that's why coudn't get getvar info/ bootloader info

In my opinion , you better buy a new smartphone.
Flashing a ROM non compatible with your device will replace the compatible kernel (the thing that make the interface between hardware and software) is replaced by a non compatible kernel .
It means that your device won't be able to boot up anymore , I'm sorry for you.

Its too much for me,as im just a student.
I need to know if i can repair this network problem myself.
Can anyone let me know about the procedures?
