Hi redice1,
Hero support micro sd/sdhc. As for singapore set it support max of 16gb.
The speed on the card with class 2,4,6. but as for Hero it running on class2 speed no matter u using class 2,4 or 6 micro sd/sdhc. As for the classes is useful on adaptor xfering. ( As for the classes of card is for xfering speed *reading speed is all same*) << this info i got it somewhere while i playing around with my psp slim
As for the brands scandisk is most recommended *almost* everywhere. ( but im using kingston due to more cheaper & is frm my psp *recycle* =D )
I got this pcs of info frm others forum:
Good Morning Frank,
Thank you for taking the time to contact HTC America Technical Support via E-Mail with your inquiry about what class of SD card to use in your Sprint HTC Hero. My name is A.J. and I will be happy to assist you today.
If you are looking to purchase an SD card that the device will read at its full native speed you will need to purchase a class 2. The device will read a class 4 but not at its native speeds.
Frank, if you have any future questions about your device please feel free to visit HTC - Touch Phone, PDA Phone, Smartphone, Mobile Computer and send us another e-mail. You may also enjoy HTC Smartphone Wiki - HTC, which has a plethora of information on HTC devices, including the Sprint HTC Hero! Does anyone know if the VS G Tablet supports Micro SDHC? I know it supports Micro SD. Looking at VS's website under specs really doesn't lead me to any info. I'm able to get some 32 GB SDHC cards at a really good price from a local business that's closing. I however don't know if the tab supports the newer card type.
Yes, I am using a 16gb Micro SDHC card.
Same here. I am using a 16GB Micro SDHC in my gTab.
Make sure that those 32GB cards at "good price" are genuine 32GB cards in capacity and not hacked 8GB cards before the store closes it's doors
What about full-sized SDHC?
I'm trying to use the gtab to view photos taken with my camera, which uses full-sized SD cards
For standard SD cards 2 GB or smaller, I can plug my camera right in via the full-sized USB host and look through the pictures in any file manager app (Astro, ES, etc.) However, if I use a 8 GB SDHC card in the camera, none of the file managers will find the files and the /usbdisk directory shows as empty. Same result if I put the SDHC card into a card reader and plug it in.
Anyone else experience this problem? Any work arounds? I suppose I could buy a bunch of micro SDHC cards and an adapter to use them in my camera, then use the micro SDHC slot on the gtab. But I don't know if micro SDHC cards are fast enough to record HD video (without being ridiculously expensive).
The major selling point for me was being able to take pictures while on vacation and then viewing them later that day with my family without having to lug around a full-blown laptop. :<
Hi All,
I'm looking for an Android phone as a cheap, large capacity MP3 player. I currently have an iPhone 5S 32GB, but I have a pretty extensive music collection that I'd like to store on one device.
I've been looking on eBay as well as using GSMArena.com and 95% of the Android phones state that they only accept 32GB Micro SD cards. Is this a hard limit?
There's only one Android phone I've found that accepts 64GB cards - Samsung Galaxy Trend Plus S7583T
Am I going to run into problems if I try to use a 64GB card in any of the other Android devices? Can I get around the 32GB limit?
Thanks in advance!
PS - I apologise if I've placed this in the wrong forum!
PS #2 - I'm also interested in any Windows Mobile devices that support 64GB microSD cards!
Tons of phones support 64 GB cards. Galaxy S3/S4/S5, Note 2/3/4, LG G3/G4, HTC Ones, etc. A lot of them say 32 but have no issues with larger cards. Some even work fine with the 128 cards. Can't always just go by the specs. Most likely other users in the forums will make mention of what works for them.
I have a HTC M8 which I use for my club fix. It can accept a 128GB MicroSD card and has decent music playback for a phone.
I absolutely love my Z3 D6603 and want to keep this phone but its lacking in internal memory (16GB) in the UK. And i want 32GB as not everything can be stored on my 64GB sd card.
I have the opportunity to purchase either a japanese docomo z3 which is, i think virtually the same phone but 32gb and aimed at the jap market. Or an American Z3 32GB T-MOBILE.
I just want to know if anyone can help me out here if they will work 100% in the UK? I am talking 4G/LTE and all other features to do with the network. I know some imports are lacking in some features, so just wanted to be sure.
Also i wanted to find out if i need to use specific roms on the docomo, or will normal D6603 roms will work fine as i will be rooting.
I am using BT network in the UK which uses EE's network (EE is basically T-mobile).
