Is it possible to collect data packets from another device like an iphone that's connected to a router by port forwarding the router to my s10? If so how would I set that up? I have the remote access set up for the router already.

Hello i have voipdiscount and PDAVIET Transformer...
When i try to make a voip call the others can hear me but i don't hear them!
Any suggestions?
Hey,
you must make sure that the port 5060 udp and in most cases port 8000 udp get forwarded to your phone. but that very much depens on your provider and for really giving advise you should post your internet setup, too.

i need to do this from my router?
I use it with wifi
yes. you need to look on your sip-providers homepage for information about which ports, but it usually ist 5060 for sip and 8000 for rtp. make sure though, that you give your mobile device a fixed ip address within your network (or setup your router so it always assigns the same address to you from the mac-address the interface has, but not all routers can have that option).
good luck
on which interface should i assign a static iP?
Hello everybody,
I would like to do this:
I have a scale connected to my android device in hotspot mode, i want be able to talk to the scale from a PC by internet.
I tried to configure my phone as a proxy server with forwarding (using Server UI) but it didn't work...
Thanks.
Is it possible to creat a hotspot that connects to a local network instead of the cell data? I connect several devices to tab 3 tablets in vehicles i would like to connect them to my network when they are at my facility. I would like to keep them in groups and have this work automaticly, maybe by using tasker to turn off data and switich to local network by location or time ect. (make hotspot a client on my local network)
Hi to all, i have a question about architecture of android OS, and i would have an answer before i start develop my custom android OS.
I would like to know wich "component" of android OS take decision about which network interface use for sending and receive data. As we know, if our system has a 4g network active and is connected to a wifi network too, all network data goes through wifi connection.
I would like to know which is the portion of os that "take" this decision, and if is possible to modify it for manage network connections and traffic forwarding in different way as default (for example send automatically an email with 3g network also if a wifi network is active).
to get smart relay activated properly you must first turn on the mobile data connection on your phone then the mobile data connection on your watch. if the gear s has auto mobile data defaulted, in 60 seconds you will not have to activate it manually.
This method is to get the calls forwarded. Again, to establish the remote connection both phone and watch mobile data connections must be established independently. If youre connected to wifi the remote connection will not work.
Once call forwarding or remote connection has been established it is not necessary to keep the mobile data connections on either the phone or watch. The remote setup has been worked out through your cellular provider and there isn't a need to keep data on if you don't need them.
This must be done every time to get it working. I'm using both a tmobile bought gear S and note 4. It all works brilliantly.
