Hello, i am looking to buy 3 PRO but i need to know does Realme 3 pro have that option while you are looking at the screen reading (not touching screen ) screen stays on. It is using front camera to detects your face.
That option on LG G2 called: smart screen and on Samsung "Smart Stay"
My daughter Huawei p30 lite doesn't have that , but my wife's Honor Play has that.

I have a Mate 9, and tried a 5T, didnt like it due to 18:9 aspect ratio and I returned it.
Now I'm trying the Mate 10 and so far I'm liking it, it is not a big upgrade from Mate 9, it actually loses on sound power and screen brightness compared to M9, but overall it is good, specially because I think that it is going to be one of the last flagships to come with 16:9 on near future.
I prefer FPS on rear, but the possibility to use the FPS as navbar make it worthy to be on front.
All said, what is bothering me is that on the very bottom of the screen there is a yellowish stripe (all screen wide), making the screen uneven on color.
Had anyone have this issue?
Could it be the glue not be totally cured? Will it fade with time?
It bothers me and I dont want to return the phone because of this, but if the issue is final, I'll return it.
How'd you go with this? Did it go away or did you return it for another unit?
I'm in the exact same situation. Slight yellow tinted band at the bottom. Kinda trying to convince myself it doesn't bother me, but I can't help but look at it every time now. Hope it will fade away. Don't really want to return it either.
I git that yellowish tint also at the bottom screen. I already send to huawei service center ti change new screen but have the same problem after changed new screen. Any advice? Should i send back to huawei and change a new screen again? Thank you

But im using mate 10 not pro. It is an lcd screen. Maybe i got a cheap lcd screen?

Weel indeed, if your model is a Mate 10, then no OLED screen, so different problem than mine. Good luck !
Well i think it's the glue wich is not cured totally yet.
When i got my Mate 10, i had exactly same yellowish part at the bottom screen and now its totally gone.
Use your screen brightness as high as you can for some time and watch for it, mine took like 2 weeks for be gone.

So I bought an honor 9 a couple of weeks ago and despite my best efforts I've got a couple of scratches on the screen. As the title asks, does the honor 9 come with a screen protector that I can just peel away? Or are these scratches permanent?

Sure? I would swear that mine comes without screen projector... and also have two little scratches
I have open the box of : Honor 6, P9 lite , P8 Lite, honor9 all came with screen protection , on the screen, from factory.

In my case, Honor 7, Huawei P10 Lite had screen protectors.
My Honor 9, and my wife's one - didn't.

here is the issue, i have purchased with my phone this case :

Its the official huawei smart flip case, and huawei have an option to turn on Alway on display on the window of the case.
When i close the case, the AOD show's up for 10sec and dissapear, the only way to make it come back is to press the power button and it show the time for 15sec and then turn off again.
i tried everything but can't make it work :
here is the model : LYA-L29
EMUI 9.0.0
build 9.0.0.122 (C432E10R1P16)
We can see that in the review video of this case made by mobilefun the AOD alway shows with the case :

I ordered the same phone and case.. mine have not arrived yet though
I did see on my wifes P20 pro, there is a separate toggle for the smart view case that needs to be turned on. Is that option on?

Yeah i have it on !
What it does is when its on when you close the cover it turn off the screen and display the time and when you open the cover the screen turn on*
but if you turn it off nothing work when you close the cover so the option work as intended
i also tried disabling touch disable mode that prevent the phone to perform action when in pocket but no luck
same issue in this post with huawei mate 10 pro but no answer since may 2018 :/

Just saw this video and it seems to happen to this dude i can't understand to what he say but i think its not a problem its designed to be that way....
Its so frustrating because i alway listen to music via my phone and when music is playing i have the cover on, the phone display the music control for 10sec and it dissapear so useless :'(

It's not going to stay on, without the case closed and AOD on cover all the sensors on the notch with your hand and the AOD will turn off, there is no way to keep it on with the case shut. I found this out with my P20 Pro last year.
I got sick of this cover after 10 seconds due to the case covering the notification light, blurry front view window and AOD switching off after 10 seconds. At first I thought the ambient light sensor being blocked by the case was the problem (the sensor which is an inch to the right of the earphone speaker, which determines whether or not your phone is face down, or in your pocket/bag in order to switch the screen/AOD off to save battery) so I took a knife to the cover to see if that helped. It didn't. Even after cutting a section of the case out and exposing the ambient light sensor it still doesn't keep AOD on. I have attached a photo in the link below of my butchered cover for comedy purposes

It's by design, cause in the Smart View window the content does not move like full-screen AOD without the cover. So without moving the content it's going to burn-in, and therefor AOD is not implemented in Smart View.

LOL... now you have double window flip case
I have an issue where sometimes the smart cover doesn't activate when I have an incoming call and I would have to flip the cover open to answer call. How can I fix this problem
Just got my mate 20 pro and that cover. Sucks to have no clock. It works on the P20 Pro. So much for burn in...

Lets hope so. I changed to a silicon case + screen protector for now. I really want that AOD.
I am looking for smartphone(no iphone) that unlocks with sunglasses.
Can somebody confirms that Mate 20 pro unlocks with sunglasses , also that they fixed issue where similar looking person can unlock phone?

the mate 20 pro can unlock with sunglasses on, worst case you can setup an alternative face id with you wearing with you wearing your sunglasses. it allows you 2 face ids. as for someone that looks similar to you unlocking your phone i cannot really answer that as i have not had that issue personally.
Yes, I regularly use sunglasses and the face unlock has worked wonderfully for the past 1.5 years
