[MM] [6.0.1] [Stock] Root + Magisk + Xposed - SM-J700H (may work on other variants)*
The only reason that I've created this thread is simple, I couldn't find any proper guide to root my J7 device and the ones that are available aren't helpful at all as they are outdated methods and are obsolete.
I spent a lot of time on the internet finding these packages and in the end finally it worked like a charm!
So, here it goes!
Backup your DATA before proceeding
Optional: You should download the stock base flash file, just in case
Download the latest recovery for your device:

https://twrp.me/samsung/samsunggalaxyj72015qcomsprint.html
https://twrp.me/samsung/samsunggalaxyj72016exynos.html
Download the following package and extract it:
ht t p s: //mega. nz/ #!pYZWWbBT!Nl5LaPxRGs_5bkMML9SwC2lLIpN9-FYxBdpVO5AEuUE
Remove spaces
Click to collapse
You'll find these files once you extracted the package
Install the apks as they are ordered (leave those 2 zip files as they will be flashed through the recovery)
Now enter into the download mode of your phone by pressing the following keys in combination VOL DOWN + HOME KEY + POWER KEY and connect it to the PC/Laptop. Hit up the ODIN and flash the downloaded recovery.
Follow this procedure as shown in the image, in order to flash the recovery. (Download the ODIN software from the google. I'm sorry I can't provide you the link) :silly:
Make sure you also have installed the Samsung USB Drivers as well! Otherwise ODIN won't detect your device.
Click to collapse
Now as soon as ODIN flashes the recovery it'll reboot your device in an instance, so keep that in mind, once it does you only need to hold VOL UP + HOME KEY + POWER KEY and if you done it properly and in synchronized time, you'll see the SAMSUNG LOGO and on the top of it a sentence marked in RED color will be shown and after that it'll boot up the recovery.
Now flash those 2 ZIP files which were left before in order through the recovery:
Reboot your phone once you have done flashing those 2 ZIP files (the first reboot may take some time)
If all done according to the steps, then congratulations you've rooted your phone along with installing XPOSED
Proof:
All credits goes to the DEVS who have created these wonderful tools
Enjoy and don't forget to hit the :good:

I think you need to boot android once before installing magisk right?
So far I'm really liking this ROM. Is there a way to enable the on screen nav bar?
The ROM is fine, but I wish it had gesture navigation on the virtual button.

Yes! System will bootloop if you flash without booting once.
Is there a way to enable the navigation bar? My home button doesn't work so I can't use the gestures to navigate in the OS
------
EDIT:
Found a way to enable the navigation bar. Just flash Magisk and install this MOD https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/module-enable-navigation-bar-disable-hw-t3831236
Reboot the device and the navigation bar should be enabled by default
Tested with fi?

Changelog:
06.01.2020:
-added fstab, usb init script from ashyx's recovery
Be aware of bootloader bug:
Once you entered recovery there is no way to reboot device in normal/download mode except from recovery itself. Which is problematic if it's not operating correctly.
Ideas how to get out of it in case you stuck in broken recovery:
1. Use adb (provided that it works)
Code:
adb reboot
2. Connect keyboard via OTG-adapted and press Alt + SysRq + O to power off device (saved my device).
3. Disconnect battery or let it die while burning bootloader splash into the screen.
4. Use USB Jig to enter download/EDL mode (might be ignored by bootloader just like key-combo).
Thanks!

i omitted some partitions from fstab (and missed other) because i thought that restoring modem/apnhlos from old binary may soft-brick device. But after some testing it appears that it's only checked in download mode. I will add those partitions back in next release.

Do you need to use the forced encryption disabler?
I don't really care about the "full functionality" in TWRP, but I want to watch L1 widevine content with my rooted A605FN, and that isn't possible if the /data partition was formated.
But the (old?) "SM-A605-keymaster-fix-by-Not_Sure.zip" needs /data access, so I guess the forced encryption disabler is needed for that fix?
And what is the difference between the "fixed full-disk encryption (msm keystore implementation)" in this TWRP Mod and the (old?) "SM-A605-keymaster-fix-by-Not_Sure.zip"? Is there even any?
Last time i tried TWRP and root and there is a bug in lock screen system. is this version have that problem too?

Can we use this twrp for my A6+ android 10? will it work if i use it?

It doesn't work not because /data was formatted, but because boot partition was changed which breaks chain of trust.
"fixed full-disk encryption (msm keystore implementation)" means that TWRP can decrypt /data but only when it was encrypted with "SM-A605-keymaster-fix-by-Not_Sure.zip" previously applied. If you have non-rooted stock ROM you still have to format /data first.

-No data lost.
-Google Assistant can make a phone call from your contact.
( This is a special option for Sam Tab, my locked bootloader T875 can't do this.)
Oh ..sorry QPR-2 Google update Can't make a phone call.
-No AOD on charging.
-We can't make R/W system cause its size will bigger than our SM-T22X dynamic partition.
*(If project Elixir is made R/W the image size exceeds 4.6 GB, this unable to flash the GSI into our tab device.)

the simplest way to unlock the bootloader is going into developer options and enabling OEM unlock. after that shut the tablet off and put it into download mode by connecting it to a PC and holding down both volume buttons. then you will get a blue screen that will tell you to press and hold volume up button to unlock the bootloader and that it will reset your device data. once your device reboots your bootloader is unlocked.
