Hello
I am using Note 9 (exynos) . I got offical Andorid 10 and one ui2. But in developer options There is "Force dark" not "override force-dark" like in S10. So only few apps (like Facebook. though it was so ugly I turned it off ) changed after turning this on. Whatsapp, Chrome and other important apps don't get black.
In chrome it is possible to force it in chrome://flags but you can't turn it on and off conveniently. ( is there a way to link it to system settings? )
Why there isn't override force-dark in Note 9. And how can I make whatsapp dark.

Hi
I have marked that many things are different in S6 and many many features are missing
1) Auto brightness gets disable on its own
2 ) Edge notification getting disabled
3) Open background tab opting missing
4) Switching between chrome tabs needs left hard key
5) Apps are crashing
6) Annoying Mobile data disable popup window!(with no option to disable it)
7) Long pressing Mobile data options opens up data uses rather than network settings!
8) Quick view can't be expanded by dragging it with two fingures!
9) Syncing is not good
10) people can hear me well on phone.
11) No guest mode!
I get more of a feel that I am using iPhone than S6! Many user settings are missing

Same bug any notification and back to home screen
Hello rowbaggie22,
You are not alone I have same kind of trouble : as soon as I get a notification (incoming sms, gmail, huawei mail, launching deezeer ...) my Mate 10 Pro get a black screen for 1 second, refresh the wallpaper and set back to home screen every 5 seconds ! I have to read the message or delete the notification (this work around is not working 100%) or kill tasks to get ride of these bug.
This is very very annoying. This bug appeared since perhaps 2 weeks. The phone was working without this bugs since 1 and 1/2 month.
It seems to be a problem with notifications management, If I disable all there is no problem anymore  ... but that is not a good idea.
Please Huawei give us a patch.
Update of my previuous post : notification bug resolved
Hello,
I managed to get rid of this notifications bug. I reset all notifications to default and installed latest Huawei Mate 10 pro updateBLA-L29 8.0.0.129 (C432).
I don't know if notifications reset was mandatory prior to upgrading but now the notifications are OK and don't set me back to home screen each time
Screen flickering when notifications
Hi,
You said you reset the Notifications, how exactly did you do this?

Hello Rinazzle,
(my huawei is configured in French language, so the english menu will differ from what i'have writen here under)
Options > Application & Notifications > Applications then choose parameter icon at the bottom
Choose "Special application autorisations" > "Superpose to other applications"
Choose the 3 dot ... at top right of the screen > Reset to Default
(There was an other menu : Choose "Modify system parameters" then the 3 dot icons "..." at top right > "Reset to Default"
I'm using Kenzo with Global 10.1 Kernel 3.10.84-perf-ga89deb5
Apps that are in the background often dont give any notification. LINE for example only shows notifications when I open the app manually.
Google Translate only shows its popup-translation whenever it wants and is completely random.
Youtube disconnects from my chromecast everytime i go to the homemenu and switch back to the app.
Same with other apps. I've tried adding them to the Autostart permission but that didnt change anything.
Power Saving is off.
Why is the energy saving so aggressive? Am I missing some option?

CoZ its miui. Its agressive on ram management.
Hi, guys! After the last global rom update, I observed that if I entered and used facebook messenger for a few minutes with dark mode turned on (it's a feature now in fb messenger) the whole ui turned into dark mode: the notification shade, the side volume on screen controls, the settings menu, etc. After entering an app that doesn't have dark mode built in, like chrome or something, the ui would go out of dark mode, reverting to normal. I'm using the poco f1 standard theme, on miui 10.3.4.0. I think it's a bug, but also a glimpse into the future dark mode of miui 10. Has anyone else experienced this?
I noticed that too, I don't know what's not happening

The implementation of system-wide dark mode of MIUI is not merely for all apps like Google Chrome, Facebook, Instagram, etc. depending if that app:
Supports theming throughout the device (Like the use of Substratum rooted or non-rooted one, System-wide setting is dark mode)
If that app has Dark mode slider (Like in Facebook Messenger and Twitter)
Miui's dark mode is for different bloatware in a Xiaomi device has. (like MIUI Forum app, Messaging, Phone, Contacts, Calendar, Clock, etc.)
And currently, Facebook does not support Dark mode. Idk what happen to these developers if they implemented that feature like in Facebook Messenger.
For example, the pictures below my post has my device's theme dark mode turned on but Google Chrome is not affected to the dark mode because it has different setting on between the system and the user app. Like my Messaging app that belong of one of the bloatware of the ROM, then it supports dark mode.
for me Dark Mode is buggy atm.
It switches itself randomly independend which setting is used.
I'm using EU ROM which has a setting for that ....
After the Android 12 upgrade, there are no apps (just some random 4 and 5) in the list to change the setting for full-screen display.
I have couple of IPTV players that I do not want in full screen and there is no place to change the behaviour. Or I am blind?
Does anyone know?
thx
