[Q] Camera

Some of my reading implies that there are third party camera apps that provide higher quality images than the Mororola app. I have played around with FX Camera Zoom and it seems to be OK. In this forum's august opinion, what is the best camera app for the highest quality images ?
The second question is: can the camera shutter button default be changed to default to another app?
I only use FxCamera and I love it. The only good/bad is manual upload to FB or Google, but I'm cool with that. The real reason I switched is the timer as I did not have many pictures of myself!
As for your second question, no clue! sorry!

I like procapture. To get the full 8mp youll need the paid version though. And no, the camera button mapping is built into the kernel itself. A third party app wont change it.

Camera Zoom FX I find the images and the options to be far superior to the stock app.
I use Camera Zoom FX and I use more Camera 360 Ultimate.

Try Vignette as a camera app.
Try Autodesk's Pixlr o matic or Instagram for post processing.

[Q] 3rd party 120 FPS Camera app?

Hi,
Can anyone please suggest an excellent 3rd party Camera app that can take slow motion video at 120 frames per second? I want to switch to CyanogenMod but I want a 120 fps app that I currently use on stock...

YouTube 3rd Party app that allows sticky MAX resolution playback

As above - is there any 3rd party YouTube app that can 'remember' my 1440p settings for every single video? Also a plus if it can control video playback speed.
Please recommend. Thanks!

Why aren't there 3rd party apps that use Google HDR+ and Portrait algorithms?

Aren't they open sourced? Why aren't their 3rd party camera apps that natively support them and not some buggy ported app?
