Hope to get one for A95X F3 AIR
@minixfreak Are you no longer supporting S905W (X96 mini) devices? It would be a pitty as your ROMs are awesome!

Thanks
Thanks you
Hi thanks for your room.
will this room work on Magicsee N5max 905x3 4g Ram/32 g rom? :good:
hello everyone, I have never modest these devices and I haven't done it on a smartphone for a long time, can someone show me a step by step guide to do it? I have a Bqeel Y8 pro with root, s905x3, I think this rom is okay right? other thing there is the possibility to rotate the screen in the settings?
I have a T95Q with S905X2. This rom are compatible?
I need change boot logo of my T95Q. How i do?
Will this work on a T95 Max Pro with S905X3? If so, which image?
Is SB9X supported? Freaktab seems down lately.
Your download link no longer works.
I got your ROM from a direct link posted on 4pda. Using it now. It is an improvement over the default system but I discovered when I try to delete a file on a USB external drive from Kodi it causes Kodi to crash. I will be trying all others until I find one that suits my particular needs. Android TV isn't really my thing. I love OpenELEC though after trying it. What a fantastic thing that is. The reset hole could be larger, it causes the process of updating to be more difficult than it needs to be. A pin only just fits.

I tried burning this to a Transpeed 8k Ultra-HD X3_Plus that has the Amlogic S905X3 CPU. It gave me error at 1%

Hey guys !
As announced today, I will release a mod for our Xperia X10.
The full review is available here.
You can download it here (mediafire link)
WARNING The rom zip file is a CLOCKWORKMOD BACKUP. Means you musn't flash it as a update.zip. You have to unzip it with your computer to push the "clockworkmod" folder yo your SDCARD. If you don't fail, you must be able to restore my backup with CWM recovery.
Of course, flash the same kernel i used. it's this kernel. Thanks @Achotjan
Maybe this rom works with this kernel too. Thanks @scritch007
Lets list all the apps and features i added (clic show to show x) ):
- Google Search 4 and libs from Lollipop to enable voice recognition.
- Google Fit if you want to lose weight because you spent too much time to compile
- File Manager (The same who was in my previous mod.
- Android 4.2.2 Clock
- Kitkat Fonts
- Titanium backup standard
- White icons on statusbar and Lollipop network icons
- Lollipop launcher
- Nexus 6 Wallpaper
- Cyanogenmod 11 Changelog in about this phone
- ANDROID L PREVIEW, NOT LOLLIPOP FOR NOW easter egg. Using eggster xposed module
- Xposed installer with Xposed Gel Settings, Gravitybox and eggster
- Google Keyboard 4, with marerial design of course
- Android Lollipop Bootanimation
- Google Play Store 5.0.38 with material design
- Overclock to 1267MHZ set on boot, ondemand governor and KSM enabled, for SDE kernel users
- You'll see
- Forgotten it : DPI set to 200
BUGS :
- Some rares random graphic glitches
- Camcorder
- Same as CM10
- Random reboots if you let CPU run @1.2Ghz for some users. To fix it, goto Settings; scroll down to Performance; and change max frequency to 1.1Ghz or lower.
- You tell me
If they are modders able to backport Lollipop settings, deskclock and systemUI to Jellybean 4.1, please PM me to make it awesome
Dont forget the zip file is a backup and not an update.zip.
Install Material design Google keep : http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/keep/keep-3-0-03-apk/
This mod is based to @scritch007 CMX10, so it's 4.1.2. It's NOT Lollipop, and not Kitkat. It's themed Jelly Bean.
Happy flashing
Well done on this
I don't use my X10 for anything meaningful anymore these days but might have to give this a shot.

Just fired up the ROM. Loving the boot animation! I got into the main homescreen but then it froze and rebooted I know why - it's because as you said above, the default clock speed is 1.2Ghz. My X10 has never been able to handle anything above 1.113Mhz, so unfortunately I can't get into the settings fast enough to change it before it freezes
However, what I can see on the homescreen looks amazing! You've done a fantastic job with the presentation of the ROM.

Flash CMX10 kernel with flashtool and boot the rom with it. I think it will reset the CPU settings.
Thanks buddy
I have 4 invites with 6 days validity to buy the OnePlus One. I want to give it to developers so they can create ROMS for the amazing phone. If you know any developers in search of an invite please let me know. I will be more than happy to share invites with them
Hey guys !
Submit everything you want to see here, i will try to implement it
Cheers
PS: If you know someone able to help me to build a boot.img, and edit it to make it working for various manufacturer roms, please let me know
Hey, when I tried to install the rom, it's great, very great but no sim card detected, I haven't any network.
Have you a solution please?
Thanks a lot.
EDIT : I think it's good now, sim card recognize ! But have you random reboot and looooong freeeze you too?
I can't use the phone more 2 minutes because after, my phone reboot.
Hey guys !

Maybe because default clock is 1267Mhz. Goto settings; performance and set clock to 1GHz, and make sure you use SDE kernel.

Hey guys. Could anyone please create a mirror or something for MIUI 8? There IS a version for Nubia N7X available, but the owner uploaded the ROM at Baidu Pan, which download link is terrifying.

Rom has bugs, sudden restarts, full of chinease bloatware , looks nice but needs fix. I was surprised it worked on ZTE Z7Max. Please fix restarts, remove bloatware and please change that chinease keyboard to Gboard or stock AOSP. Thanks

Yes, it has some bugs, and I presenced some restarts. The chinese bloatware thing can be easily fixed by removing those apps using "System App Remover". It works
About the keyboard: You can download Gboard normally, you know

there is no problem about Keyboard, but restarts are really annoying. it would be really nice if somebody with skills could fix these problems and upload this ROM here on XDA or to NEEDROM. Thanks anyway :good:
Update: I created a post on needrom so everyone can easely access it. Thanks @Guffeogco for the mirror. I did one as well, so we can get at least a sub mirror
Also, huge kudos to Yayanan for porting an almost stable MIUI for us.

Hi guys, I've found a custom rom that seems to work for our XA ultra. I'm using an other phones rom as base.
I don't want to steal someone elses credits and/or work.
I haven't spoken with the author and I'm not aware of all the rules. I fell of the motorcycle when a dog tried to attack me so my hands(palms) are wounded. Feel free to help me on this journey. Finally no more sickening bloated sony rom.

No clue I contacted the author of the rom if it is okay to link his rom in this thread, will ask him if he replies. Not sure if it is an aosp or 7.0 modified to look like one.
I'm just happy we found a non sony rom to work as expected with our phone with minor issues. I did not port the rom just flashed system.img and it seemed to work. No major crashes overheating or anything like that. I know we can replace some files like camera libs so charger to get stuff working properly and maybe fix the settings crash when trying to open about phone with logcat? I know most fixes are listed in porting guide topics so hopefully it will be a piece of cake.
I prefer slim roms over any sony roms. TBH i debloated stock 6.0 rom but the phone was overheating and minor issues so I tried some other roms, i removed the backplate of my phone so I can test and remove thr battery cable to quickly reboot when it's stuck or looping. I have no problem with it since my screen broke I also took twrp backups incase it's needed. The sony threads are just too empty

As said by @Tahsin88 he have forwarded sources code links to me, very big thanks to him :good:. Until now I worked with Elephone P9000 sources code as base and it was good on Marshmallow but for Nougat it uses a lot of files from MM and it's not good. New sources are even better to build Nougat based roms, I have to port them to XA and start building. It will takes some time but it's on the good way

I worked on dt2w P9000 is not good because needed files are already compiled, I need original .c and .h but they are already compiled in .o so it's like some already chewed food and I can't port the patch from it. I tried with an other patch but it doesn't work because some kernel definitions are different in the code and I'm not good enough to correct this. I think that if I can find the same thing in a 3.18 kernel it will works.
Good news for you, all this work and rom building are made on a F3211 device Now I have this one and a F3112 (XA), I work on it because the XA Ultra community thanked me more than the XA community for my work on Nougat so for me it's normal to work on XAU first and later on XA

H96 MAX X2 (S905x2) with POISON ROM
Hi Ricky, first of all wishing you a belated Happy New Year and hope you are keeping well.
It has been a few months since I was last on this Forum due to lack of time basically so it is good to be back. Just prior to Christmas I treated myself to a new box to see what Oreo 8.1 was all about and of course to experience the latest hardware.
I must admit I was more than disappointed. The firmware was very unstable even after a factory reset. I tried three stock ROM's and even the latest was still not brilliant. :crying:
I had tried Customisation Tool 5.5.0 and everything appeared to work, unfortunately it stayed on Boot Logo when started up.
I was saved by a post on 4PDA.ru Forum and a gentleman over there called sergej_a_g. Christmas Eve I installed Mod GT1-mini_113N0_Nano_to_aml_s905x2_H96MaxX2_4g.img, this worked very well the only downside a couple of apps would appear sideways on screen and it would doze off after a few minutes inactivity, but still better than stock ROM's I had tried. New Years Eve he released another ROM X96_MAX_20181219_V311_to_H96MaxX2_4g.img and this was good and I was using until I saw on Freaktab your POISON ROM.
Now I am back on topic. I downloaded and flashed POISON ROM with success and connected it to the TV. Initial boot time and install time was very good as was navigating the Menus. Unfortunately WiFi, ethernet and remote did not work. Bluetooth connected very fast and audio was perfect. I did watch a film with that install and playback was very much improved over that of stock ROM's. I decided to revert to the previous build based on the X96 but had a quick look for any feedback over at 4PDA.
There it was a new post from sergej_a_g ! Collected port with [S905x2 devices] Poison Rom [Beelink GT1 Mini] [V1.0] [Android 8.1.0] for H96 MAX X2 4 GB .! This was installed and everything is now working fine. The only difference is the Boot Logo is stock H96 MAX x2 and it has retained both License Keys as is the case with the two previous ported ROM's. If sergej_a_g reads this at all I would like to thank you for porting POISON ROM to the H96, it has saved me probably from returning the box.
Ricky you have once again created a very nice ROM and thank you. I will of course customise it as I only use my boxes for playing back TV films and series I have recorded and streaming through a VPN, so most of Google will be going for a start as there seems to be a lot of processing going on in the background as usual with these boxes.
All the best for now and I take this opportunity to belatedly wish all of Ricky's followers and indeed everyone at XDA a Happy New Year.

No problem, I didn't include it in my previous post as being a Junior Member was not sure if allowed.

Hi,
I have an X96MAX (S905X2) V311, is it possible to install your firmware?
What is the difference from V211 to V311 board?
Thanks.
Hey, love to see a real dev working on a good custom fw with OTA support. Real excited to see where this goes in the future.
Finally bit the bullet and bought:
Device (the 4gb RAM 32gb ROM version)
https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B06XKYTD4Y/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Cable
https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00P0E39CM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Tried flashing using the posted USB burning tool. Tried various USB ports, both 2.0 and 3.0. Different results each time but never finishes properly. Highest percent I got was 48%.
I know you were planning on updating some of your tools in the coming days, is that still the plan or should I keep trying different cables and computers? Really excited to get POSION loaded on my unit

I have this exact same issue while flashing to test, im unsure why it gets stuck alot of the time, i usually just close USB burning tool and re open it, switch USB ports on the PC and try again, eventually it will flash
You must use the USB 2.0 port on the device
This ROM has full ckmpatibillity for the device as its specifically made for it
@ Ricky Divjakovski,
Hello,
I tested your Poison Rom on my X96Max (v311).
I encountered a problem with saving the settings of my Wifi connection. After each restart of the box, I had to re-confirm my wifi credentials.
The wifi reception looks better than with the stock ROM "X96 MAX 20181219.img".
In your rom, several parameters of the Droide Setting are missing. But it seems that some of the missing parameters (Audio DD / DTS ...) are applied in the build.prop.
I have also made several tests of video readings (Stream IPTV, mkv on HDD) and I encountered exactly the same problems of saccade during the video readings, as with the stock ROM "X96 MAX 20181219.img".
At this level your rom does not improve compared to the stock rom of the X96 Max and it's a shame.
I saw that your rom did not integrate the video codec Amlogic Libamcodec. It's a shame because on the forum 4PDA.ru, our friends say that with SPMC (Kodi mod) the activation of the codec amcodec solves all the problems of video playback.
I have not yet managed to get my codec (libamcodec.rar) but I'm still looking.
To conclude, your rom is a good start, but I did not keep it because it did not provide a solution to the problem of jerks in streaming TV and videos, compared to the stock rom.
I ask myself a question: would not it be better to customize the current stock rom ("X96 MAX 20181219.img") by adding all your tweak, rather than starting from a "compatible" rom but which is missing functions for the X96 Max?
In any case, thank you for your work.

HI,
I also ran into problems with this rom on my x96 max s905x2 4gb 64gb.
If you're looking for working video without any problems I really recommend using the stock firmware for Beelink GT1 mini, version 114.
Would be great if you could share your views on how this room is working for you.
Hello tedpoley, I just tested the stock rom Beelink 114NO.
It's a good rom, really more user-friendly than the original X96 Max.
But my box always has the same problems of saccade with the playback of video streams.
On all the rom that I tested, it is always on the same video streams that there are problems.
Yet I read these same video streams on my Samsung Smart TV, without any problems ...
According to the forum 4PDA.ru it is because in the Rom for box Amlogic u211, it misses the codec Amlogic Libamcodec.
But I can not find a download link for this codec. The only one I found is on 4PDA.ru and you have to be registered on the forum to be able to make downloads ... I can not register, I'm not Russian, but most of all, I can not answer to the question of the verification image .... since I do not know how to read Russian to translate this security question!

In the meantime maybe this will work for you.
It's a ported Beelink 114 to x96 max.

Hi tedpoley and thank' for your reply.
The link for Amlogic Libamcodec to use with SCPM (very good modified Kodi)

After posting my previous post, I installed the Beelink114NO stock ROM on my X96 Max.
The result was the same as with the other rom.
Then I decided to edit the build.prop of this rom stock by adding the tweaks of the Poison Rom ... and there MIRACLE, all videos are now fluid with any display resolution set in DroidSettings.
What is amazing is that with the Poison Rom and his BuildProp tweak, the video still had problems ?!
I noticed that with the Rom Beelink114NO stock, the X96 Max's infrared remote was not properly supported, porting for the X96 Max, correcting this problem?

Booted it up fine seems to be working well however I noticed the OTA app doesnt seem to be connecting anywhere yet? I assume that is still in the works. Also i cant set up a google account to use play store or anything else google related as everytime I go to add the account, i get a message saying google play services has crashed? I also can't get any on screen keyboard to pop up, any tips?

This issue has been outlined.
Thanks to everyone on XDA-developers and Freaktab.com(i am a moderator there so i dont get much time to respond) i will be updating this rom to fix a few things today or tommorow!
Hello @Ricky Divjakovski
I have a H96 Pro+ which I accidentally bricked. I was not able to run most of the home launchers from the play store on it. Most of them crashed.
Now I ordered a Beelink GT1 Mini (didn't receive it yet).
Will these "normal" launchers work on it?
On my old Minix Neo Z64 I have the "Holo Launcher for ICS" installed and it was perfect for me.
I control the Android boxes only with a normal pc mouse, don't use the remote controls.
Thanks
Plz. I want custum rom and twrp for h96 max x3
Help
A ton of development taking place on the 4PDA forums, but it is all in Russian. Google translate works just fine though
I'm currently using SLIMBOX V7 and it's definitely the best rom out so far for H96 max X3
All kinds of guides and information is available o. The 4PDA thread, but basic install is via USB Burning Tool or Burn Card Maker.. Plenty of threads everywhere here on XDA on how to flash amlogic roms

For me one of the best custom roms is https://yadi.sk/d/GWW_dL7anKvorA as it has permanent TWRP, permanent Magisk, ViperFXA etc. The only problem is that it starts in Russian language and you have to know/guess where to change it!! (HK1 X3 and H96maxX3 are exactly the same boxes).
You can add the application POWER SHADE (or Material Shade) as notification Bar/Panel and the application TASKBAR Style as navigation Bar (and much more if you want). After that you have anything you need.
On the other hand in addition to Slimbox there is a very similar custom rom by xVortex v1.1 which is made for H96maxX3 (AOSP & ATV versions) https://cloud.mail.ru/public/5fqw/5mLJVbpXv and https://cloud.mail.ru/public/5fqw/5mLJVbpXv

Hi I have H96 X3 version . The only problem I have with stock firmware is that it does not support DTS-HD sound from my amplifier. I wanted to know if these versions mentioned above do support DTS-HD and TRUE-HD sound formats because Slimbox does. but it's not very speedy as it should be.

I have made a version of my own, which includes everything I was talking about above. You can download it from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/an.../rom-mod-hk1-x3-h96-max-x3-vontar-x3-t4157515
But about the sound formats you have to test it by yourself. In case you try it please tell me about your experience.

Thank you for your feedback. As I am away for the weekend (and the box H96,) I am not able to check some things. As far as sound abilities are concerned, if I remember well, there are some switches in the Settings-Sound menu (I suppose you have enabled there anything needed). As far as if it is quick or slow, it should be as quick as the original firmware of HK1 X3 (as this rom is based upon the original of HK1 X3 - which is a clone of H96 max X3).
Anyway I will check everything when I am back.
Best regards
Is there any AndroidTV Rom for H96 Max x3 that can run Netflix?
