Hi All,
Has anyone every come across an 'echo' when making/receiving calls on a Nokia 7.1?
I've had a few reports of users saying "someone rang me the other day, but they had to end the call as they kept on hearing an echo of themselves during the phone call".
Is this a known issue? Is there an easy fix to stop this issue from occurring?
Thanks.
I Got It Too , Any Solution
My wife was having the same problem. It was happening on EVERY call! Lol. Well Nokia suggested that it was caused by the google assistant. Sure enough, turning off google assistant got rid of the echo. So give that a try.
The assistant workaround does the job but the real fix is on May's MR update that is coming probably this week! All inside info conclude that fixes this super annoying bug among others
Today was the day at last....! MR update showed up rolling out globally and echo during calls plus crackling sounds in games are finally gone
Better late than never NOKIA

Hello All,
I have recently purchased Samsung Galaxy S2 which is just an awesome model I have come across. I purchased it just 2 weeks back
Now what the problem I am facing is that when I receive any incoming call on my mobile I hear the ringtome for 10 second sec and then suddenly it gets stop. I have tried all the function in setting option but still the problem is same. Previously I was thinking I might not be knowing some features but after seeing some post here I came to know that I am not only individual who is facing this issue but there are too many people who are facing same kind of issue.
Now the surprising thing is that this problem appears sometimes and not everytime.
Could somebody assit me anything on this?
My friends keep telling me they can not hear me well for most of my calls with galaxy S3, sometimes my voice are like under water for few seconds. I got no problem with my other phones before. I cut my sim to micro sim, it could be the problem? I also rooted and changed to custom rom, problem still there. What else I can do? Im using Tmobile and singal are strong.
can hear you well then its can't hear you well.
try phone > menu > call settings > additional settings , and play around enabling/disabling one or both - noise suppression and in-call sound equalizer.
Thanks, I just made some calls and they got no problem.

Do you mind posting what settings you changed to fix the issue? I've experienced a similar problem.
I too have this sort of problem. Some people say I sound far away when in fact i'm at normal distance to my ear. I would like to know what settings to change to fix this.
I currently use a HTC HD Mini aka Photon running CyanogenMod 7.2.0, Photonic-KANG. For some reason, I do not receive any alerts or notifications for incoming calls: no ringing, no vibration, no records in the call log but my callers actually hear the phone ringing and so it seems like I'm just not picking up.
At first, I thought it was a ROM issue, and switched to Photonic from SCREAM by Ling Gan and all seemed to work fine for a while (I even received some calls this morning) and then it started again! I seem to be the only one having this issue since I posted it on the SCREAM thread but got no response.
Short of some weird issue with my network, what reasons are there (bad flash, radio issues, hardware problems) within the android OS and the phone that could result in this?
Thanks in advance.
Anybody else having issues with Google Now's voice feature since today? When I tap the mic button and start speaking, my phone doesn't seem to register that I've said something into the mic.
The ring around the mic icon pulsates as I speak, so it seems like it hears what I'm saying, but nothing happens after that. No confirmation "tone" to register I've said something. It just asks me to tap the mic and speak again.
I know it's not an issue with my mic, as I've made 3-4 calls with no issues today too.
Anyone else experience this? Any help appreciated
***SOLVED***
Never mind all sorted. Uninstalled then reinstalled the latest update and all is good now
title says it all, since updating to B130, every time I call someone or they call me, I can hear my own voice through the earpiece, and just wondering if it's happening to anyone else and if there's a fix for it.
