Help needed for Poco repair - Xiaomi Poco F1 Questions & Answers

Hello there. From the first release day of Pocophone 1, this amazing device is the only one, that suits for my usage and needs.
I have two Poco F1 - both rooted, the first one is mine which runs official los, the second one is my little brother device, who's unfortunately yesterday he dropped on the ground. And here is the case:
The device is Indian version, 6/128 with NVT-ts panel, rooted, with stock miui, pie. After the accident, the phone survive and there is no SINGLE scratch, no screen cracks or similar, but ALL sounds gives error when I try to play them. YouTube starts with its stream buffering, but the video cannot start play, Spotify and SoundCloud gives me unplayable tracks, when dial or receive calls, the phone hangs and I must perform hard reboot to start this procedure again. But ALL games works flawlessly - CoD, PoGo, Wizards Unite etc. Messaging apps like Viber, WApp works too, but cannot perform calls. Proximity sensors works, IR cam works, 10 fingers test on the panel works too, the phone have full network 4g coverage, fast data bandwidth, WiFi works too. Temperatures of the phone is around 25-35 C
I opened the device, check every single cable, reconnect them and this mess is the same.
Additional info: the situation is the same, even with wired/ Bluetooth headphones - no sounds at all and hangs of the calls.
Later today, I'll upload pictures of the opened poco.
I'm open for ideas, how to revive this awesome phone.
Best regards to the coolest community!

I have same exact problem with my poco f1. Help!

Moto 360 Sport - Complained to Motorolla

I bought the Moto 360 Sport (which is essentially the v2 in a fixed band and GPS onboard) because I like fitness/smart watches - and prefer to not have to carry my phone if possible.
Pros:
GPS tracking
Can play music from watch to BT headphones
Heart Rate/Pedometer/Barometer/Android Wear
Very comfortable
Battery life is a solid day with moderate use and about 1 hour GPS tracked running
Cons:
BT range is poor
Constantly disconnects from phone
Music breaks up while hand is moving
Actions from watch to phone fail quite a lot
Cannot track general fitness activities (e.g. weight lifting)
Should be fully waterproof
What happens if the strap breaks?
Initially contacted Motorolla thinking I had a faulty unit - but have since read more and more reviews of a similar nature to mine. They did say I could send it back for service, but to be honest, I think it's going to be on all of them.
I have realised that I wear my watch on my left wrist and my phone usually goes in my right pocket. If I take the watch off, the BT connection is great. If I listen to music with the watch on the table - it has no problems and the range is huge. Put the watch back on my wrist and it breaks up again. That must be the flaw?
Contacted Motorolla again to raise these points more specifically and have been told they will raise with the responsible department and let me know the best solution for me.
Thought I'd create the thread in case others are experiencing the same issues - or if anyone has any suggestions/additional issues. Anyway, will post an update when I have one.
UPDATE from Motorolla:
If the watch strap is damaged, it would need to be sent for repair. Unfortunately it is not possible to replace the strap yourself on the Moto 360 Sport.
For the bluetooth connectivity issues, please follow these instructions:
- Uninstall the Android Wear app and un-pair all devices that are paired with your phone.
- Turn Bluetooth off on your phone.
- From manage apps on your phone, select “Bluetooth Share”
- Tap “Force stop” then “OK”
- Tap “Clear data” then “Ok”
- Power cycle the phone by turning it completely off and then back on.
- Perform a factory data reset on the Moto 360 by going to Settings > Reset.
- Re-install the Android Wear app and connect with the Moto 360 again.
- Wait until the Moto 360 has finished syncing apps. Transfer music back to the watch again via Google Play Music, pair your wireless headphones with the watch and test it again.
Note that bluetooth devices may disconnect or create noise when their batteries are low so ensure that the watch and all other Bluetooth devices are fully charged.
If you are using the device indoors, other wireless equipment such as Wi-Fi, cordless phones, or baby monitors, that operate on the 2.4 Ghz frequency may cause interference, and contribute to a dropped connection.
If you are using the device outdoors, the Bluetooth signal may be affected by the environmental conditions.
Keep metal objects, such as keys or coins, away from all Bluetooth devices to avoid interference.

I have a Moto 360 v2 and I continuous connection problems with Bt and service "ok google" not available. The notifications seem to arrive, but when I want to respond vocally to a message, many times not working.
The problem is Android Wear or Motorola?
For billysa: removing moto connect from your phone will likely fix the ok google disconnect problem, it did for me.
Hi
I have one and what I would like to check better is the GPS accuracy. the rest of the things you speak about I have no problem. (I have some problems with the sound of the music where I am running and I put my hands down to stretch. But it only happens a couple of times... )
but the reason I bought the Moto 360 Sport is because the GPS and I do not get the same results as with the mobile
examples of this week in some routes with a lot of slopes:
Monday/Wednesday: same route
Monday: mobile with endomondo 8km 44
watch with moto body running 8km 69
Wednesday: mobile with endomondo 8km 42
watch with endomondo 8km 53
Thursday: mobile with endomondo 6,01 km
mobile with moto body 6,26 km
the mobile tracks the routes properly but the wacht does some little bends now and then, they are very little but enough to see that is the wacth which is doing it bad
I am going to do more tests in a flat route, looking more apps (perhaps ghorstraer could work) and I gonna compare it againts a friend's good garmin forerunner in order to get further information
have you had this kind of problems with the GPS???
regards.

I had this issue to begin with. First time I contacted Motorolla, they said to factory reset the watch and start again. I did that and it didn't work. However, I then installed Moto Connect & Body on the phone (as well as Android Wear) - all of a sudden it became more reliable with the vocal commands. In fact, when in range of the phone, it works every time now.
As Delano.88 had the opposite effect to get it working, could just be a couple of uninstall/reinstalls is what it needs.

I have noticed the same as you, yes. Been using RunKeeper on mine - when I look at the map, on the website, it's clear that the GPS is taking an age to lock on. It's a good minute before the run starts - but the route looks pretty ok. I can't see a way to determine when GPS is locked.
I see the bends too - but for me, they aren't that bad.
Good test comparisons you've got there - let me know if you find a good one! I'll just stick to RunKeeper for now - got friends on it and we compete for distance/calories done.
Edit: Actually - just had a closer look at the map and can see the route is way off! Read this review today http://www.wareable.com/android-wear/moto-360-sport-review ...it says third party apps aren't as good as the built in moto app, so I'll give that a bash today.

I agree with that review that the moto body running app is able to get faster (very fast actually) the gps. Endomndo takes more time to do so. and the endomondo is not able to use the watch's heart rate while moto body running do it properly. but In my case the deviate of the distance does not come from the begining, on the contrary is constant during all the route, each km the wacth do a litle bit more... with motorola running 30-40 meters per km
Besides, in my tests I foond the motorola's app less accurate than endomondo app as I wrote down in the previous post. the reviews says 'the 360 Sport was always within 100m on distances over 8km' but in my case the difference is almost 300 meters with the motorla app and only 100 with the endomondo. I wanna point out that my routes were with a lot of slopes and this could be the problem because:
at the same route:
mobile with endomondo 8,42 km Total ascent 141 meters
watch with endomondo 8,53 km Total ascent 51 meters
motorola body running does not show me this information
Thanks for the answers.
I'm testing the Moto 360 without Moto Connect and above without using the Theater Mode. For now I have seen an improvement (not always working), but it is always very slow to recover connection Bt. When the clock loses its connection freezes for a few seconds, this happens to you?

I'm not seeing that, but what I have noticed is when I use any watch face, other than a built in moto face, the connection is very unreliable and the watch crashed more. Which is no good when we're supposed to be able to customise the faces. I put up with the standard faces now.
For what it's worth, BT transmits very poorly through the human body from my experiences. If the two devices are on opposite sides of your body transmission may be temperamental.
One of my original BT headsets had an antenna that was placed in such a way that my body sat between it and my phone. When I walked outside in open areas my music would often breakup.
When you're inside this isn't much of an issues as there are plenty of surfaces (walls, doors, tables, windows) for the signal to bounce around. But in a wide open space there isn't much reflected signal to get around your body.
It might be interesting to try swapping your watch to your opposite arm during and run and see if that makes a difference.

100% get where you're coming from. I actually have to do that when I go out running (but I shouldn't have to for the price tag of these watches). The reason it gets me so much is - I had a Microsoft Band V1 and the BT range on that was incredible. Couldn't listen to music, I know that, but it was so good that when I was walking down the drive and the phone is charging in the kitchen - it would buzz me as I approached the house with notifications from the phone. This watch barely even knows the phone is in the same room, in my experience.
It's disappointing that if my phone or headphones are on my right side and my watch is on my left wrist, there's a struggle.

FWIW, I've found the range on my 360 46mm to be quite on par with other BT devices I'd. I dunno is the sport has different placement of antenna or different materials around it that are blocking the signal perhaps??

Could be - maybe adding the GPS receiver has caused a problem...
Regarding the Bluetooth choppy playback I am not sure if it is Android Wear (software) related. Today I almost could not listen to music and putting my hands in my pockets almost broke playback. But as a test I changed the watch hand (from right to left) and I had no more issues with playback over Bluetooth. Can someone test if this helps?
Also to mention that Bluetooth choppyness happens only while tracking and outdoors.

Yeah that's what I'm getting too - but annoyed that's what I have to do to use the watch while running/listening to music. It's similar to the old Jobs meme "you're holding it wrong"
To solve the problem of BT connection, I have tried all the solutions proposed here including reinstalling Google Play Service and factory reset of smartwatch... nothing.
AT THE END, the problem was only in a well-known (except me) bug BT on the Note 3 with Lollipop (solved with an app).
Now I will try to reinstall watchface and app, but finally seems to work well.
Maybe it's already fixed??

Acording to the 6.0.1 changelog: "We have introduced improvements that reduce the choppy audio when listening music through a Bluetooth headset while your watch is in motion, like when you are walking or working out" ... can anyone can confirm this?

Ok, still choppy sound... maybe a little better than before, not sure, but not perfect yet
Just dropping in to let you all know it's not AW. No audio choppiness when running outdoors, tracking with GPS and listening to music on the LG watch Urbane 2 LTE, so it seems to be hardware related. Sorry
My Urbane has no problem keeping a BT connection with the phone ever, however I have to reconnect my BT headset with the watch every time i want to use them together, so this IS an AW issue.
Maybe the 360 antenna placement is causing this issue...

So many issues with this "Flagship" phone...

Picked up my AT&T G5 on April 23rd. Thought it was pretty darn good at the time, but after using it for a week there are just to many issues with it. Most of them seem to be common here on the forum, so I thought I would run down my list.
1. Dropping Network. I have found that about 2-3 times a day while the signal bars are showing full signal that there is n 4g or 1x icon. during this time I have no connectivity. cannot call, Email, text, surf the web, nothing. this tends to last for anywhere from a few seconds to last night it was over 40 mins. If I reboot the phone that seems to reestablish the network connection, but this is a huge issue to me. I need a reliable phone for work.
2. Dropping GPS. I am a guy that is used for issues at multiple work sites and facilities. As such I tend to use my GPS quite often. last week luckily I was at one static facility so I didnt need to rely on my GPS, but I ran it anyway as I had seen a number of people reporting issues with the G5 retaining GPS lock. about every 15-30 mins my phone would drop the GPS signal. it would take anywhere from a few seconds to 10 mins to reestablish. This is on a known route that i have never had any sort of GPS issues with any phones before.
3. Camera. I had the S4, S5, and then the S6 Edge. they all had pretty good cameras. Low light worked really well. the camera on the G5 does not compare. I thought I could live with it, but coupled with the other issues... Yea, its a problem for me. i like the wide angle camera, but the normal camera leaves a lot to be desired especially in low light situations.
4. Bluetooth. In my car i stream Pandora quite a bit. at least once a day i have to turn bluetooth back on as it will shut itself off in the middle of my commute. Again, not a deal breaker in and of itself, but with everything else...
5. Alarm Clock reliability. This is a strange one... the stock alarm clock tends to not go off for me. the app I normally download and use just plain didnt work with the G5. in one week the alarm has completely failed to go off 4 different days. I have checked all the settings, everything is right, nothing is killing the alarm clock app during the night, but in the morning it just wont go off. I have set the alarm and watched it waiting for it to go off for testing, and half the time when it does go off it is not audible. just the screen lights up. then if I leave everything set as it was and bump the time a couple mins so that it will go off again, the next time I will get audio. sometimes. its inconsistent, but the majority of the time it does not work properly.
6. Screen Quality. Ok, this one is really an issue with me. im jaded. I admit this. Coming from the AmoLED's on the Galaxy series looking at the G5's screen colors seem washed out. Not as sharp and bright. I know the Sammy phones over-saturate the colors, but I guess Im just used to them and because of that this screen Im just not happy with.
7. Always on display. Or what ever it is... the clock that is displayed on the screen when you turn off the screen and lock the phone. On the S6 edge I had only the clock numerals and such was lit. the rest of the screen remained off and black. With the G5 screen even though the screen looks like its off and black in a dark room you can tell the entire screen is on. it lights up my room at night. not a lot, but just enough to bug me. Again, not a deal breaker in and of itself, but with everything else....
8. Sound. streaming music via BT is fine, well as long as the BT remains on... using a pair of wired headphones the audio quality just isnt there. Playing the same track on my G5, my old GS6 Edge and my wifes S7 there is a definite sound quality loss with the G5. I have a set of Sennheiser studio headphones and I could tell ever time my wife plugged them into the G5. I was looking forward to the HIFI module, but well with all the rest here...
So this morning I went back to my AT&T store to return this phone since I was still within my 15 day period. Got there 20 mins before it opened and waited with 4 other people. when i got inside and all checked in to the que for help, the lady kinda chuckled. apparently the other 4 people were there to do the same thing, exchange the G5 for a different device.
I really wanted to like this phone. I really tried. One or two of the issues i could have lived with, but when they are all present... this does NOT seem like a flagship phone to me. seems more like a swing and a miss.
I don't have a G5, so my answer is only based on reviews and other users tests:
1) Here in italy all the reviewers claimed the G5 to have the beste signal in both mobile and wifi network compared to S7 Edge, P9 and HTC 10, so maybe your model was defective?
2) Nothing to say as it seems that other users suffered of this problem, i found nothing about GPS problems in reviews though.
3) G5 has the best camera in normal condition, in low light there is no competition because S7 obviously do a lot better.
4) Same as point 2, no problem in reviews, but some users here in xda have the same problem.
5) It's a third party app? Really, does it work on other devices with Marshmallow or with the Snapdragon 820? The stock app work? Other third party apps work?
6) Yep, that's it. But keep in mind that Amoled is anyway the best display.
7) AOD is totally wrong on both G5 and S7, in the first because in order to drain less battery the display backlight is very low, and in the second, and in my opinion is the more stupid, because it's useless, you can (for the moment) see only stock app notification, clock and date (maybe a very few other things)
8) The bluetooth issue is the same that you reported in point 4, and the story is again the same, some users reported it, but reviewers and other users are surprised for the good sound.
Just try to answer to some problems, i've no intention to argument
I have the poor signal and drops. I was blaming it on my carrier. I may take this back and get a different brand all together.
Hey Kill, In regards to #5, the stock app wasnt working reliably so I tried a app store app. that one wasnt reliable either. I always try to use the stock built in first.
In regards to #8 I was talking about the wired headphones via the headphone jack. BT audio sounded good, but the quality loss was with the wired headphones.

For the #5 strange, never heard something like this.
For the #8 i saw that, it's the same as other problems, some users have them, other not, and the reviewers never said nothing. Maybe there was a problem with the the jack itself, in my opinion the real issue with this phone is that you have high chances to get a faulty one, moreover in us where it was released first. In my country I'm still waiting for users feedback
I love my lg g5. I get bored of phones and switch up so regularly but still absolutely loving it. I mainly got it for the camera, and I'm more impressed than I was with my beloved lg g4. In manual mode I still believe it's better than the s7 (I tested then both over the course of a week).
That data drop is interesting though. Happens to me too, but can't figure out if it might be something to do with whether you turn wi-fi on or off. Seems linked, as happens to me at work.
I have the ATT one too. Got it the day before launch... Screen i think comes second to the S7 TBh, but is still pretty damn good... Camera I find is sick, better than the competition in my opinion. I haven't had any issues with data or signal loss whatsoever, however I can confirm when using GPS the signal will either drop, or it won't lock on at all until I just about hold it to the top of my front windshield!!! The sound I find is fine, but im no audio engineer either. I use jaybird X2 BT ear buds and I think they sound fantastic with no Bluetooth signal loss ever... Alarm issue is a new one to me.. No problems here and I constantly have to change the time due to our ridiculous work schedule.
One can definitely understand why you are bringing yours back. Hope you enjoy your next device.

Humm, I haven't had any such issues....
Hope you enjoy your new device.
As a comparison, my data, gps, Bluetooth and such all work fine. When using an auxiliary cable in my car I had that hissing sound, but using the alternate 3.5mm port on the back of my radio fixed the issue.
The only part of the phone that could use some fine tuning is the strength of the paint or whatever it's calledy. The paint got a little rough or irritated in a couple spots from removing a tpu case less than ten times. I also noticed a little chip in the coating near the charging port. I'm very careful with my phones. My G2 has less blemishes at this point and I've had that thing forever. I'll be curious to see how it will hold up over the next year, at the least.
Who knows, my paint problem could be a minority issue just as others with GPS and data issues. In my case, instead of getting a new device that could possibly have more than superficial defects. I'll keep the one with the funky paint.
As we all know, there's lots to love about this phone. I'm sure as hell keeping mine.
All the problems I hear about seem to be non existant on the unbranded variants or variants for carriers outside the US...
Also AT&T H820 seems to have the most issues.
Had this phone for a week now with no issues.I've only read one bad report of a variant outside the US...
Not saying LG is not at fault but this what happens when carriers mess with the firmware...doesn't explain quality issues but most of it seems to be with AT&T
My main issue is the ambient light sensor causing the image to flicker in low light when using the FFC, and the obvious auto brightness issue. This needs to get fixed ASAP by LG.
Everything else is working just fine for me. Battery life is meh, but as others have mentioned the stand by time is amazing feels similar to the performance of an iPhone in terms of battery life. Bluetooth works fine as well.
I do not have any of these issues. So have to say I disagree with this post completely.
1 Carrier issues, ie network is your mobile provider. Mine drops never. 4G 2 to 3 bars most of the time.
2. GPS on mine is perfect, many journeys well over half an hour, no issues at all.
3. The camera beats out any other phone I've used low light and craps over the Galaxy S's Barring the 7. (You need to use manual or a steady hand but still stands)
4. BT issues is the devices you are connecting to.
5. Alarm clock always goes off for me.. maybe you're turning it off in your sleep, or some settings you've altered or app you've downloaded
6. S6 and 7 screens are better, no doubt, except in sunlight where the S6 is not really useable but G5 is absolutely perfect in sun. As bright as if you're indoors.
7. Always on display drains too much battery so I turn it off... I like my 6.5 hours screen on time at 75% brightness.
8. Sound quality trounces my old S6 and Xperia Z5, can't say much else about this. It's louder and clearer and bassier.
Have to say i'm happy with this phone and thanks to the wide angle lens.. I might just end up keeping it.
UK H850 Stock Rom had for 4 weeks now.
1. Dropping Network. -- This has been better than my old Z2. In fact some "dead spots" that my friends phone suffer from I find my phone still has 2 bars
2. Dropping GPS. -- Used the LG fitness tracker the other day and it was really accurate to the paths I walked when check on google maps. CHecking some photos on google and they are accurate to 2 metres.
3. Camera. -- Low light has not been an issue for me, but if it were I'd switch to the manual mode. Done some amazing sunsets thanks to the manual mode
4. Bluetooth. -- Only used with headphones but never had an issue. Streamed for couple of hours to a portable speaker at a bbq this weekend and was faultless.
5. Alarm Clock reliability.-- Not used that feature. Have used the timer function for cooking and that works a treat, very loud as well
6. Screen Quality.-- I thought my Xperia Z2 screen was good, the G5 is blinding when you set brightness up. It's amazing for outdoor use in sun light. I have seen the S6 screen, colours look freakish and don't match when on a TV or monitor
7. Always on display. -- I have stopped turning my phone on thanks to this and the battery usage is insane, it barely uses it. Also I have noticed it changes brightness based on on light sensor. Plus if I want it off I cover the proximity sensor or flip it.
8. using a pair of wired headphones the audio quality just isnt there. -- Yet this has a 24bit DAC, better than the S7 (dependent on processor) and most other flagships. The basic headphones with it are crap but they are cheap. But my sony nc ones sound amazing with it.
I read a lot of bad things about quality whee this launched but then I reminded myself, people only tend to have time to complain about things and no praise. I know I'm guilty of that. In fact I'll layout my one complaint about the G5, the UI. It's not as "clever" or usable as what I'm used to with the Xperia. But I can change that with 3rd party software and root.
Maybe you have a bad one, or may as someone else pointed out the issue is the carriers forcing changes on base model. All those variants could be affecting the quality control.
I have the H860N dual sim version, not having any problems as mentioned above apart from the alarm part.
I set my alarm on at 3pm and 4pm with snooze in case I over slept, but some how the alarm goes off at around 9:20pm and also the set alarm times, not sure if it's related to other features.
I'm still testing it now.
I just wanted to chime in here.
I have the LG G5 on Verizon and my signal is horrid. I lose LTE coverage all the time. This is NOT the network as I also carry a LG G4 with me that is also on Verizon and it always has a LTE connection and a strong signal at the time that the G5 drops. I am getting Verizon to replace the device, hopefully this resolves the issue.
They had me use the Repair tool on my PC along with multiple factory resets. They event went as far as to blame the Google Application updates that were from the Play store, aka looking for a cop out.
The only issue that I've had with my G5 has been with the AT&T LTE signal. Sometimes I find the phone struggling to stay on LTE for a minute or two. This is not a big problem for me but it is sometimes annoying when I try to watch a video or something. I live in the Washington DC area and LTE service is pretty strong over most of the area, so it's not a carrier issue. Again it's not a big deal and most of the time I don't notice it.
Regarding the camera, it's one of the best smartphone cameras I've seen yet, I've taken some pretty amazing shots and all of them have been in full auto mode.
If your device is having that many issues, you should probably return it.
You are right

All the problems I hear about seem to be non existant on the unbranded variants or variants for carriers outside the US...
Also AT&T H820 seems to have the most issues.
Had this phone for a week now with no issues.I've only read one bad report of a variant outside the US...

I wonder why AT&T and other U.S. carriers like to put their own software on top of LG factory image. Unbranded LG G5 works great!
Maybe you are right, Carriers 's bloatware may cause those issues.

Go hidden menu, Run a ALL-AUTO-TEST, you can test the LTE NETWORK issues, If in test mode, the LTE never drops. It is not the hardware issue. According to my experience, Most of issues are caused by Carrier firmware.
I have this same issue with the alarm clock. sometimes it works my early morning alarm rarely goes off.
I have tried adding the alarm clock app to the battery optimization exception list and that hasn't helped.
Third party apps on the optimization list or off still unreliable.
anyone find a solution for this? i may try a factory reset this weekend.
other apps like KIK seem to have the same problem like they just stop functioning when the screen is off. I get a flood of messages when i unlock the screen.
could it have something to do with device encryption? i don't think my phone always had these problems and that;s the only big change i can think of that i made.
I haven't had a single one of the listed issues on my Verizon phone other than the pretty bad low light camera, which does bum me out because it was weirdly a lot better on my G4? Daylight photos are absolutely beautiful.
I also use my alarm every night with no issues.
The update my phone downloaded last Friday seems to have fixed my issues with the alarm clock.

Redmi Note 3 PRO (SD) No Sound/Audio

hi..just bought this phone about 2months, now i'm facing No sound/audio at all, here's some detail and if anyone of you any good hardware repair skills here, i need your help, as i believe100% it's not the software issues:
1. phonecall, on stock MIUI (NoROOT/customkernel,pure officialrom) its freeze/hang when dialling numbers - few second latter its rebooted itself. voice recording app won't work can't use the app as its error pop-up said, and sometimes i need to hard restart to use the phone again. and its gime bootloop and drained battery (4000mah cannot even survived for 7hour), even with no internet connections the battery still drain fast.
2. when someone calling me,there's no ringtones, even when i answering the call there's no sound at all, no musics sound, any audio files i play only hisssing/noise sounds i can hear just like feedback sound.
3. Unlocking Bootloader, replacing other rom the sounds completely disapear, no hissing, noise at all (CM,Mokee) and still phone app freeze/hang when i try make a phonecall,(reboot/hardreset)the only solution to make the phone back in usable state.
4. installing Citrus ROM, the sounds back but only hissing/noise sound on sometimes i can here the sound with some feedback issues. phone app works i can make a call without freeze/hang,no reboots, but i can't totally hear someone talk to me at all, but when i turn on the loudspeaker i can hear someone talk to me (with some annoying feedback sounds),
5. as i bricked it once and need to reach testpoint so i believe its not under warranty, seal already broken.
6.ordering the parts, connector charging board(which contain whole set new audio i guess hope can fix the issues, but just noticed that if that's part causing the no sound issues, its only fix the audio such as music,ringtones..not the front speaker(phone related still not repairable)
7. trying contact some friends which some understand about hardware told me, i break down the IC Audio so its imposible to repair/change that part since its directly micro-soldered to the mainboard.
anyone have same problem as mine?, or some of you have solutions for my problem please reply .thanks
My RN3P has 2 weeks and today also was no audio to the rear speaker(ear works and using headphones also), he had no kind of fall, spent most of the day inside my pocket, taking only a few pictures, coming home I realized I had no more sound in the rear speaker any solutions?

Same problem as mine.
Even the video recording do not work too.
Is there any solution how to fix it?
I use it as ipa/od without ability to make / receives any phone call, so many ppl has the same problem here seems was Xiaomi's bad hardware components, which mine believes caused by sudden-removal audio/aux jack while its still playing the musics
anyone know the average price to fix the sound ic compared to the phone? maybe 10%, 25%, 50%, or above the price of the new units?
I have the same problem,, could any one tell me where I can buy the hardware (IC sound).
Plz tell me solution. My mobile mi note 3 audio problem, audio only listen Bluetooth.

Redmi NOTE3
I need audio IC for Redmi NOTE3 we're can I buy
hello.it is an old topic. i hope it be useful for anybody else. a few days ago My redmi note 3 pro kenzo was damaged by water. after that when I turned it on, logo of my custom ROM was appear and boot loop ... First I think it was for ROM or kernel. I installed another ROM with other kernels. I could turned on my phone and enter to user interface. but everything that was related to sound ( like : camera-music-call-headphone,... ) was not work at all. I searched a lot. I found out the problem is for Audio IC (WCD9306 Audio IC) this model. https://www.deviceparts.com/wcd9306-audio-ic-for-xiaomi-redmi-note-3-ori.html
it is used in Samsung mobile phone like S4. however you can buy it. but the main problem you can't change it by your own without tools . if you are familiar with hardware it could be useful: http://www.u2ugsm.com/blog/xiaomi-redmi-note-3-ringer-solution-jumper-problem-ways/
I think cleaning IC with cleaner or alcohol might be useful. good luck
Edit: After 4 hours I turned it on and sound is back! I just cleaned it by alcohol and cleaner. but I made mistake. a little bit of that alcohol-water liquid is entered in my LCD screen. I put it in warm place and hope it will get better.

Bluetooth call quality very bad

Hello Guys,
i am an owner of a Mate 20 Pro for about 2 weeks now and i am quite pleased with the device , specially battery and charging is like nothing i have ever seen on android.
my only problem with the device is Bluetooth calling quality. I used to have a galaxy S7 and was using it with my car android unit (a PX3 from seicane) and my AM61(huawei sports buds) without issues , once i changed to mate 20 pro i started getting complains from the people i called that they were not hearing me very well , most of the times i have to repeat my self quite a lot for someone to understand what i am saying.
i have tried numerous things, ie turn off // on VoLTE/WIFIcalling , factory resetting but still have the same issue. I am a bit desperate here since i spend a lot of time in my car and also use by earbuds during my workouts and its been quite frustrating. Also as far as listening from my bluetooth goes everything is superb , both hearing my caller and music.
My wired earbuds work flawlessly and of course the same goes for when i am talking directly from the phone. I am in Europe currently my firmware is 9.0.0.146.
To tell you the truth i am convinced it is a firmware issue and i will wait till the next upgrade , if this isn't resolve in the next update i will probably visit Huawei service center.
Also there is the chance that since my bluetooth devices are not bluetooth 5.0 there may be some incompatibility with mate 20 pro but there shouldn't be right ?
Anyway if you have some similar experience or even better any suggestions i am all ears.
I know people hate to hear this but I would say it's the devices you're using. I had much more issues with my Note 9 than I do with the Mate 20 pro on bluetooth.
With the car, maybe its the phone though using the phones mic instead of the car mic? This issue might be the phone.
Try and contact Huawei, they might patch it.
Hi Jonathan , i would go with the device as well if it wasn't for the fact that both my devices seem to have an issue with mate 20 pro, they were working perfectly(well nothing is perfect) till the day i stopped using my S7.
Anyway just wanted to know if i am the only one with issues since(might be a hardware issue) or if other people have the same issue(firmware, software) that may be solved in the future or maybe if anyone is using a specific bluetooth device with their mate 20 pro that works correctly , maybe i could give it a try, although i was quite happy with AM61 , i have gone through 3 pairs in the last year(i tend to loose them easily), but they are quite impressive for their price.
I am teriffied to have to go to something like the freebuds, or airpod style earbuds, lossing those will make a dent in my wallet
Hello
I am having the same problem with exactly the same earbuds am61
With mate 20 pro
Can someone suggest a decent headphone pair that works well with mate 20 pro. I have AM61 and a PX3 car stereo and both of them have the call quality issue, i was in .153 and the issue was better , now i am on .187 and it is even worse. I have a bluetooth 3.0 plantronics M50 that is working fine with the phone so this is no hardware issue.
I am looking for something that i can use for my workouts and my calls nothing special. i have found these on amazon maybe someone that has them can tell me if they work fine :
https://www.amazon.de/Soundcore-Akk...UTF8&qid=1550522072&sr=1-5&keywords=soundcore
i am looking for something at the price range of 30-60 euro, maybe a little more if they are really worth it.

I know its more than your budget but I use the bose soundsport free which are excellent and work with no problems with this phone.

Happy to report that. 201 fixed my bluetooth issues for the most part, my callers report that call quality is tolerable both from my car Bluetooth as well as my am61 earphones. Will test further in the next few days.

At 9.0.0.210 now and although the problem seems to be a lot better it is not fixed. Main issue now is when the hotspot is on and you are sharing data bluetooth call quality is very bad.
Also i have noticed that when sharing data and stream music with A2DP over bluetooth you get skips in music , and no it is not my data connection. i am taking the same roads to work as when i had my S7 and had no issues there.
Well you can't have it all i guess, to tell you the truth since i am a heavy bluetooth user i am thinking of selling it and buying an S10 but going back to sammy is very difficult for me, i was a sammy user for the last 4-5 years both for tablets and phones and although the devices were great after 6-9 months i had lag issues and battery problems, i replaced my S7 after 2.5 years because pressing the call button took 5 seconds to actually start dialing and had to charge the battery 3 times a day. My tab S3 takes about 10 seconds to wake up in the morning and lags like hell even after doing a factory reset.
I am starting to think that Apples overpriced s***tphones are not a bad idea after all

Γεία σου χαλαρέ! To tell you the truth i am thinking the same
Maybe not a S10 but something else..
My only issue with Samsung is the rate of the upgrades. S10 comes with Pie and i am guessing that it will get Q a bit before S11 comes out! xD
Same issue with p30 pro with latest updates. S10 plus worked fine, but since i have p30 pro, people are complaining they can hear me just like in water

Question OP10T GPS route recording issue

Hi!
Has anyone had a gps problem with Sports Tracker or Suunto App? They suddenly stops recording the route. The recording of the route is usually interrupted at the beginning and sometimes in the middle of the trip. I have tried restoring the factory settings but does not help. The power saving+location settings are in order and the necessary rights have been granted. The latest versions of the application and system are in use.
I tested the same on the One Plus 8. I took both the OP8 and OP10T phones into my backpack and turned on the recording of the Sports tracker or Suunto app. One Plus 8 recorded the traveled route correctly, but One Plus 10t left part of it unrecorded..
I would like to save bicycle trips and hiking on the map, but it is currently completely impossible with the phone model in question.
I have the same issue with two different 10Ts, I have not found a solution besides either leaving the screen on or connecting to power during GPS usage. If I ever figure it out I will make sure to post the fix.

Good to know I'm not the only one with this problem. It's quite annoying. Fortunately, the screen can be "locked" when it's on. So there is no fear that the phone will press the buttons by itself.
I did a factory reset again. After a week of testing, the route was saved normally every day.
