Hello everyone, today I downloaded miuiQ rom I also attached version which I flash but after flashing using orange fox recovery latest version it stuck at Poco logo I wait for approximate 5 min but it not boot so I force boot my device ( did Everytime when I flash this version) and boot successfully I did all formalities which is required at first boot and I reboot again to recovery and this time it ask me to enter password. I know I can't fix this so I format my whole system because I don't know password. After this i again try and this time flash with DFE latest version and same result. At last I though to try with twrp latest version which is for Q roms but after flashing rom my recovery automatically set to default miui recovery. Please tell me what is going wrong with me. Right now using custom pie rom.

I had RNE-L21C185 with Stock Oreo updated
Then flashed Mofruz latest rom working fine, but then I tried to install Stock recovery, I was not able to do so
as it would show error with partition etc. Then tried to install the same TWRP from Morfuz ROM back again.
In fastboot mode I already have PHONE Unlocked and FRP Unlocked messages
So either Morfuz ROM TWRP or any other TWRP recovery, show properly completion of flash command
But when tried to boot into recovery it goes in a loop (the loop shows phenom image, then shows the default
screen that is shown before launching of recovery), then restarts again, and it goes on loop.
So I dont know why I cannot get to load into any of TWRP I have.
The ROM is working fine, if I properly shutdown mobile and start it again, it boots to the phone and
I can use my phone as normal.
Any help guys ?

Tried to use fastboot command to flash official stock Kernal and ramdisk (Oreo version) phone got no OS after it as
it will go on bootloop, now even the forced download (dload folder) method wont work, factory data reset wont work
(both of above will show EMUI circle with no processing or text whatsoever)
At this stage, flashed Catuva recovery from Morfuz ROM again, and it worked
Hi peeps
New Pocophone owner here. I got my bootloader unlocked earlier today and now trying to flash the official TWRP 3.3.0.0 recovery from twrp.me, simply following the fastboot instructions on the device guide.
However every time I reboot the device, the recovery always reverts to the stock MIUI recovery?
What am I doing wrong here?
I just got the phone and have upgraded it to MIUI 10.3.6 as well. I am wanting to flash pixel experience onto it.
Do following, instead of flashing your recovery.
Use this method boot and flash Magisk. Reboot back to your system and install Flashify and install your choosen Recovery with it

in stock rom you need to flash magisk right after flashing twrp else it will get replaced by stock

What the post above says is correct. However, if you don't want Magisk, after flashing TWRP, reboot into recovery and then into system. You may retain TWRP. However, this doesn't work for everyone.
Hi all, I fixed the issue by completely wiping my phone via TWRP and clean flashing pixel experience ROM. After rebooting on pixel rom TWRP persists.
It appears that MIUI rom has something that keeps reverting it to stock MI-recovery.
If you are on MIUI and flashing TWRP, once the recovery is up for the first time, you need to head on to reboot>recovery again in order to overwrite MIUI stock recovery. So the whole process would be like this;
i) Fastboot flash recovery twrp.img (or whatever the name of the image)
ii) Fastboot boot recovery
iii) Once TWRP is up, Swipe to allow modification and then go to Reboot>Recovery and reboot into TWRP once more. That's it! You have just overwritten the stock recovery and are now on TWRP!! Now you can reboot to system and TWRP will remain on your device. There's no need to flash Magisk etc if you want just TWRP and nothing else.

I did those exact steps and it didn't work. It ALWAYS kept getting overwritten.

Did you follow step 3? You can't boot into system right after twrp is up for the first time. You need to reboot into twrp twice before you boot into system. This is what I do whenever I flash twrp and it never failed me yet.

Yes, I even flashed the recovery image from within TWRP and rebooted to recovery again. Still didn't work.
Note this was on the new 10.3.6 stable MIUI release that got rolled out recently. Not sure if it has new detection or anything that rolls it back.
Anyway I have resolved my issue now all is good.

How did you fix it?
so i downloaded magisk and twrp then realized i had a miui 11 update so i updated then it rebooted and went to twrp i was confused so i went to reboot and system then clicked and now its stuck on pocophone by xiaomi powered by android what do i do please help iam seriously scared
seems like dmvarity issue
flash magisk20.1 again,
and reboot
2. if bootloop again then this means you have encryption error, FORMAT DATA from wipe (you will loose all your data) and try!
also if still you are stuck at bootlogo then
flash miui11 recoveryrom via twrp then reboot, complete miui11 setup and comeback for magisk
the final solution would be to flash miui11 FASTBOOT ROM via flasher, (pc) which will wipe all your data , then reboot, then miui11 setup, then comeback to twrp for magisk
flashing miui and magisk altogether always went in bootloops or screen freezes for me too!
Dear guys
I tried to help a friend of mine rooting his Pocphone F1
SO these have been my steps:
Unlocked bootloader
Booted TWRP (only boot ... no instalation)
Installed last MAGISK (20.1 if I remember well)
Reboot to System
In some cases when I reboot I obtain a soft boot loop
Only pressing pwr+Vol up several times (honestly I have not yet understood which is the right magic sequence ...) I have the right boot to Android
Any idea to fix the issue ?
Thanks a lot
Paolo
Hello
My phone is Redmi note 9s,
I have changed my reserection remix (android 10) custom ROM ,
I backed up my data using TWRP and I have install the Xperience (android 12) using TWRP ,
After that I wanted to restore data by TWRP but I got boot loop when I try to open the TWRP recovery ..
I need to restore data for my work
.......
Note
I tried flashing TWRP again but it "failed"
Any suggestions?
I don't exactly know how to solve this, but last time when I have messed up the recovery I had to flash miui using official flash tool (be careful not to re-lock your bootloader - need to (un)tic a box on the bottom of the tool)
One reason I can think of is, that the recovery needs to match the android version, as far as I know.
Another is that you should update firmware before flashing new android version.
Is it possible to recover from twrp? Last info was that since android 11 there have been many problems
Thanks bro ,I am going to flash the MIUI ROM using miflasher
I have realme 7 pro unlocked bootloader, and when I installed derpfest 12 ROM from TWRP it successfuly installed but I cannot no longer boot to recovery (I tried TWRP and orangefox recovery )
Can someone pls help?
so you tried to flash other custom recoveries and it didn't work?
Yes, but it didn't work
I had this problem too
Mine was caused by wrong custom recovery.
For some reason, this device needs a different custom recovery according to the android version installed.
I have no idea how or why but it is what it is
If you have orangefox for A11 and bootloop upon entering recovery try installing A12 orangefox.
