Classic OnePlus Gestures missing on 7T Pro - OnePlus 7T Pro (Regular & McLaren) Q & A

I love OnePlus Gestures and not this Android 10 one where I have to swipe from the sides to go back.
Any idea how to make it apear? I'm on 10.3.0

Same here

Not really, have you tried fluid navigation gestures?
I think it works very well. Even if OnePlus adds back their gestures I won't go back

Yep. Not as good as classic 1+ gestures

I used Vivid N G on my Pixel 2xl alongside my 5t so navigation would be the same on both phones. Now I only have the 7t pro, and I use Vivid Navigation Gestures. I cannot see or feel a difference between it and the system navigation on my 5t.

Fluid navigation gestures did the trick!
Thank you

Pixel Launcher O

Hi everyone, I have found the latest Pixel launcher O version and works with 7.1.1 Nougat at least, seems to work fine, with the new long press google sub menus.
At last we can have a google stock fix.

Oh ok that totally justifies you posting in the wrong forum and makes your post relevant to all the other Axon 7 readers lol
It works as an installable APK definitely, but still doesn't show your Google Now feed by swiping to the left, just like the older flashable file.
Am I missing something?

There's a zip, but I can't remember where I got it from.
For sub menus the long press on apps like chrome and others, they all work same as the pixel.

Do replacement screens support wake gestures?

Can anyone please tell me if the screen replacements for Redmi Note 3 available on sites like eBay and Aliexpress support wake gestures and double tap to wake functions?
It's just screen - your kernel need to have this function

I was actually concerned about the touch panel that will come attached to the screen because I remember reading in some custom kernel threads that a FocalTech touch panel will be needed. There were also steps to check which touch panel our device has.
So, are you sure there won't be an issue? Maybe you have tried it already?

Picture In Picture

Has anyone got this working?
On my Pixel 2 XL, if I'm watching Netflix and press home, Netflix shrinks to PiP. Doing the same on my S9+ simply takes me home with no PiP.
Thanks,
Dave

Thanks for that! ;/
I'm well aware that the S9 isn't a Pixel, but PiP is supposed to be an Oreo feature, not a Pixel exclusive!

Ye Samsung don't keep all stock features. PiP is one of the features they didn't keep.
Though it does work in Chrome. Just not in other apps like Netflix and VLC.

Actually PiP does work in VLC, if you enable it in the app settings. It also works in Google Maps.
The reason it doesn't work in Netflix is because they've only enabled it for Android 8.1, and the S9 is on 8.0.

Dave

Thanks. I didn't see it in VLC on mine. It's a cool feature that I wasn't aware of until recently.

navigation gestures like redmi note 5

Is there somebody have ported Redmi note 5 navigation gestures to our redmi note 4?
Navigation gestures are the future.
Do you mean using the fingerprint sensor or screen gestures?

Oh, no haven't found something like that, yet.
I tried it on MIUI but had a hard time getting used to it (always used the Hardware Keys lol)
Doesn't RR (i.e.) have Systemwide Gestures? Not the same but close maybe?

Third party launcher with navigation gestures

Is there any way to get a third party launcher fluently working on the OP 7t Pro with navigation gestures enabled?

I'm on beta too. Are you using the gestures? For me it's only working with the normal navigation bar.
