App FuelLog not working on Mate 20 pro Android 10 - Huawei Mate 20 Pro Questions & Answers

Hello, after upgrading to Android 10, I cannot export or import anything in FuelLog. The fact is that in EMUI 10 the three dots button disappeared - Menu button. The developer doesn't activate in Google Play anymore. Is there anything I can do to use app?

I too need solution for this problem.

Solution that worked for me
I found a solution that worked for me.
I installed the "Menu Button 4.9" app. This app allowed me to enable 3 dot settings menu for the "Fuel Log Pro" app on my S10 running Android 10.

Mate 10 Pro Home screen Flashing

Hi Everyone
I have a stock Android 8 OS, 128GB Mate 10 Pro, 6GB RAM on the 3 network (UK). I used the Phone Clone app to transfer data from my Mate 9 to my Mate 10 Pro. Now I have a flashing wallpaper on the home screen on my Mate 10 Pro. There are no app Icons, there's no bottom bar either (back, home buttons etc). I can't open any apps, because there's no icons or an app drawer icon. The top notifications bar is shown & doesn't flash. I can open the notifications & settings on the top notifications bar. It's taken me many hours to transfer all the data. I reset the Mate 10 Pro to factory default 3 times and then re-cloned 3 times. I still get the same problem every time. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Why not use hisuite? Used this to transfer from Mate 8 to Mate 10 Pro. Worked flawless.
Sent from my [device_name] using XDA-Developers Legacy app
I have this same problem, no app icons. Screen switches between black and my wallpaper, top bar works normally, home buttons work, volume menu works normally while screen flashes in the background. I have used google assistant to open all apps. No lagging or anythin while using apps

Disable the swipe up feature for Google Assistant on Mate 10

I recently installed Nova on my mate 10. Every time I try to swipe up from the bottom of the screen to get to the drawer (all apps), both drawer and Google Assistant will show. I tried so many way and did so many research and still could't figure out how to disable this Google Assistant shortcut feature. I drive everyday so I enjoy using Google Assistant to make phone calls when I am driving.
Does any one know a trick hoe to disable this Google Assistant swipe up shortcut in mate 10?
Thanks!
Hi, its simple. Follow this:
1. Go to Settings then search "Default Apps"
2. Select "Assistance & voice input" then select none
Enjoy your new mate
Thank you @deodass, my same problem solved perfectly!
If you do this on Pie, however, you can no longer access Google Assistant in any other manner (as far as I can tell). I have a Mate 10 and am using the off-screen navigation gestures (i.e., relying on the home button). Any thoughts?
Isn't it easier to disable the Gesture?

Read again, I'm using off-screen navigation (I have a regular Mate 10 with a home button). That choice is not offered unless you're using gestures.
deodatts, you litteraly saved my life. I had been searching for months for a solution to deactivate this pain in the a**.
Created this account here especially to thank you !!!! cheers
I want to get rid of it too, but I want to keep Hey Google. When I initially disabled assistant, Hey Google still worked. Then, while looking for a way to change the tts voice (only two options, red and orange, showed up in the Google app) I installed Google Assistant from the Play Store and deleted it afterwards, and "Hey Google" under Voice Match in the Google app settings has been greyed out ever since unless I enable Google as the assist app and not just as voice input, which again enables the annoying swipe up gesture. Any idea how to go back?

Apps in background

first : I'm using stock rom , STF L09 8.0.0 360 / c432
My setup : I want keep open in background somes apps : ultimate rotation , Blokada ( try with many others ad blocker ) gravity screen ( try many apps able to wake up screen using proximity sensor )
The worst : Gravity screen or other apps using proximty sensor stop after a few minutes .
For rotation apps or adblocker , I have to manually launch them 2 or 3 times a day. all apps got all permissions and "ignore battery optimisation " setting.
Don't have issue with P9 lite / android 6 so I don't know if it's come from Oreo or honor setting.
Are you ok to run apps in background on your Honor9 ? is it a way to create a "white list" some where to "protect" some apps ?
Thank for your help !
The only *real* adblocker i know is adaway, for rooted devices.
I had a similar problem with a fitness band/app. After a few minutes it killed the app and thus losing connection with the band. I had to go to settings > Battery > Battery usage > Softaware > Select desired app > Launch > Deselect "Manage automatically" and select "Auto-launch + Secondary launch + Run in background". Hope it works for you as well.
Yes, I've try this tips , it's the best solution I've found but it's not 100 % ok, sometimes, apps stops...
By the way, thanks for your answer !

Auto-created shortcuts in Android Q

This used to be a setting in the play store, but then they moved it to settings for the Home Screen. But now it's gone from there as well, at least it is on my P30 Pro.
I've been through all the settings and I can't find where it is now.
SO has the option to automatically create a shortcut on the homescreen when an app is installed been removed from Android now?
If not, anyone know where it's hiding?

a few questions

hi all, i have a realme 7 pro and i want to disable the google screen to the left, cant seem to find the setting anywhere.
id also like to enable keypad sounds and change the volume of it? right now its super loud.
when i cloned my old phone to my new one (realme 7 pro) i chose to not bring any apps over but it decided to install some google apps, such as google photos and file manager, so now i have 2 of each and its confusing, how do i remove the google apps and keep the realme ui apps? when i go into the app settings the disable button is greyed out.
last but not least is there a way to use a stock android launcher? im not a big fan of the realme ui.
Cheers!
