Yeah, you'd either need to use Bluetooth headphones or a USB C to 3.5MM adapter, I use the JSAUX one on Amazon.

Hi!
Fir the first one, it usually get full of lint on the bittom, thus preventing the full insert if the headohones' jack. Remove it and should be good to go.
The second one, in my case is due to the digitizer glue strips broken when i changed it and dust and other garbages getting in via the mic opening.

Shure SE215

Hi friends,
I have a question regarding the shure SE215. They sound pretty good on my friends iPhone. Is there a difference between the sound quality on our Z2? And has anyone tried one out with the cable with the microphone? Is there a difference in sound quality?

z2 is working great with se215s, i nearly get same sound quality as my ipod 5.5 classic.

Le Max 2 Bluetooth Related Query

Hi,
Can anyone here please check and confirm whether Le Max 2 actually has AptX Support? Is anybody using or ever used AptX Headphones with Le Max 2?
Thanks.

Are you sure?

Not 100 percent sure. Read it at some India based review site before I bought it. Don't have bt headphones to test it.
Le max 2 has aptx support. I already use it with my mpow bt

Thankyou for Replying.
Actually I'm thinking of buying Plantronics BackBeat Sense to use with Le Max 2.
Btw monleylord, Do you see any kind of indication on task bar when you pair your aptX Enabled Headphone?

I have just obtained simple, not aptx, BT earphones Awei A920 BL. They pair without problem and play but there is no information in what mode they currently run. Oh and they do not cooperate with Kodi but this may be Kodi problem.

Is it not possible to find out if it's connected via Bluetooth SBC or AptX?

Seems like nobody has any clue

Bump (to help)
Not an owner of the device (yet), but if you're rooted you can check logcat for what codec is being used.
Install catlog, establish a connection and it should give the information.

How is sound with the dongle?

Can any owner comment on how is the sound thru the Dongle.? I want to use my Bose noise cancelling headset which has a 3.5 mm jack.
Do the Dongles have a Digital to Audio Converter, like those for the Pixel 2? It would also be nice to be able to listen to wired audio and charge the tablet at the same time. There are lots of dongles that support this. Most of the dongles dont have a built-in DAC.
I'd be interested in an answer to that question as well. Just pre-ordered my MediaPad M5 Pro model including the M-Pen as well as the Keyboard-Case. Would be great to know how it works before it arrives.

The sound is very good, equivalent to my nexus 7 2013. I don't think the dac is in the dongle, I believe it makes contact with analog pins inside the usb-c port, but I could be wrong. No idea about charging at the same time, that's definitely not possible with the included dongle.
I bought a dongle that let's you charge and listen to music but it was just a cheap one and you can hear static when charging but I think that's because it is cheap

Doesn't it charge painfully slowly, like at 150mA?

Where does it say that?
I've looked at that link and the S9 isn't mentioned.
Look at the connector - if it's Micro USB it is completely the wrong headset.View attachment 4481306
