Hello. I noticed that the gamepad does not work on these devices. On an older device with android 7.1 works fine, do any of you know the solution to this problem?
Interesting. I just got myself a T95 Max+ and I am having trouble getting USB keyboard (or bluetooth keyboard) to work. The devices seems to connect by "Physical keyboard" is not detected tho.

I got a riitek mini wireless keyboard.
Its said it should work on android, however im stuck getting it to work.
On a windows PC it instantly works.
Im trying to use it on an PIPO S1 pro, it supports otg, a normal, wired mouse/keyboard works fine.
They wireless keyboard itself indicates that it connects but there is no mouse pointer on the tablet and the keys dont works.
I have the same problem when I try to use it on Inew V3 phone, it also supports OTG and the keyboard indicates that it is connected but nothing.
Any suggestions? Thank you !
Dear XDA members,
I am opening this thread in hope that the collective knowledge of XDA will help find a solution for a problem me and some other users are having with the GT1 and possibly other S912 tv boxes.
It seems that there is a problem on some devices, if not all, that when you connect a bluetooth keyboard or mouse to it, it appears as connected, but no input from the keyboard/mouse is seen.
The steps i tried so far are:
- usb mouse and keyboard are working
- tested on different official firmwares, custom ones and even ones from other manufacturers with same hardware (T95z,)
- tested with 3 different keyboards : RII i8+ (bt version), apple keyboard, tablet cover bt keyboard, and 2 mice: RII i8+ and apple mouse
- cat /dev/proc/bus/input/devices does not show the bt devices
- created keyboard layout for the specific vendor and product ID, but it seems that they are not loaded as the device corresponding to those vendor and product is not detected
- installed ubuntu using linux deploy, and keyboard is not working in there also,
The most anoying thing is that the company i bought it from is stating that the box does not support bluetooth keyboard input as it lacks "associated configuration file", whatever that means.
If anyone has experienced similar problem and found a solution, or if anyone has any suggestion as to what else to test, i would appreciate it.
Thank you,
Catalin.
Hi I own a similar device - Videostrong´s YokaTV KB2. It has the same issue you mentioned. I tried similar steps you mentioned, but unfortunately I were not able to fix it yet. I believe there might be issue with the code provided by Amlogic, because this issue is quite prevalent among S912 devices. I already tried to contact Amlogic support by e-mail, so far I am waiting for the reply.
This one works
Sorry to hear of your problem guys but I have a keyboard which works straight out of the box! It's the Mini Bluetooth, IS11-BT05 with internal batt & USB charging. Got it from Ebay <£20. Hope this helps.
Hey guys I need a help with my TV BOX. It´s Videostrong´s YokaTV KB2 2GB/32GB version running Android 7.1.1. The problem is that I have a bluetooth keyboard and gamepad. Both pair with the box just fine, but they don´t register any input. This bug was present in original Marshmallow based ROM, and persists in Nougat one too. I found out that this bug might be quite common among the S912 devices, for example Beelink GT1 has the same issue. I couldn´t find any fix so far.

BT mouse works fine, other BT gamepad (registering as gamepad) works fine, but the BT keyboards (and the first gamepad that registers as keyboard) are no go.
Here is the logcat with the issue and details of my box- https://imgur.com/a/ophm8wQ
There you can see the device (WamoPro Gamepad) connects succesfully to the box but then spams bta_hh_co_data errors.
The box is rooted and I have TWRP installed, so I am willing to try any fix possible but I am not sure where to start. Thanks.
I'm trying to get a Targus KB55 bluetooth keyboard working with the Lenovo Tab E10. Specifically, the keyboard will connect, but the Physical Keyboard setting always says "not connected", and trying to type anything on the keyboard just does nothing. The tablet connects to a bluetooth mouse and works just fine. The keyboard connects to my linux laptop and works. It just seems there could be problem with the combination of a bluetooth keyboard and this tablet. I'm curious to know if it's just the specific brand and model (Targus KB55), or the version of Android (8.1), or maybe Lenovo "broke" something so the keyboard doesn't work. In any case, the goal is to get a bluetooth keyboard working. Ideas?
Hi all, I've recently purchase a T95 Max+ but find myself not able to use any physical keyboard (USB nor Bluetooth). Both seems to connect fine but none of the keys are registering. I am wondering if anyone has encounter this, or is aware of any solution for this?
I have the exact same issue, keyboard worked fine with older M8S
