The other one is for the inbuilt mic. It may be because you're using headphones without a mic or no headphones at all.

Remove headphone jack and put them in, it happens when the headphone jack isn't properly connected.
Happens with me too whenever i have a cover on my phone

How to play music over the headphones?

Hi everybody,
Is it possible to play music over the headphones? I mean the original hands-free.
When I connect the hands-free to my TG-01 I can use it only to speak on the phone, but the music plays over the phone speaker .
It is bug, for me the worst

Try S2P, that works, as do a few other apps like PocketMusic and WinVibe
It is probably to do with the electrical impedance of your headphones, for instance, if you plug a 3.5mm plug that goes to your stereo, this is what happens, but if i plug in my headphones, works fine, so try another pair of headphones.
Well i was thinking he was tallking about WP7 My bad ....
I'm with WM 6.5 and play the music with Windows Media.
I found the problem. It works with the original headphones. I try with 5 different headphones and only two works. With the other 3 the sound automatically gone to the phone speaker.
Thanks to (InsertNameHere).

yep, this is a known problem with the TG01, it detects the impedence of the phones/cable being plugged in, if its of the wrong type, this is what happens, there are ways to trick it, you need to use a different headphone adapter though, there is a thread in the accessories thread.

Stop Music when removing headphones

So i was listening to some music at work today and got a phonecall. I have headphones without a mic and pulled out the headphones and answered the call. When i hung up - the music started BLASTING through the speaker phone!!!!!!
in my galaxy s3, when you pull the headphones out - it pauses/stops w/e music is playing until you push play again.
How do i make the G3 do the same?
Also, how do i take a screenshot?

Not sure about the music thing and it is a good question because I am coming from a S3 also but there are two ways to take a SS I think, one just push in the power and volume down buttons at the same time. The other way, well I'm not sure. Sorry. :silly:

To make the music pause will depend on your player.
It will be in the settings.
I know PowerAmp does it. I don't use the factory application.
As soon as I pull out my headphones, the music stops with both the stock music app and google play.
It's because you pulled the headphones out after the phone started ringing that it did that. The dialer will resume the music for you. The music app wasn't in control at the point you pulled the headphones out.

First try blowing into the jack. If it won't help then take a needle and play around in the jack.
I had this situation few times, it's mostly because there's some dirt inside.
Sent from Note 3, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3.

I am facing the same problem on the stock 8.0.5.0. The workaround is to quickly plug and unplug headphones in the jack 5-10 times. It'll work.

Phone not recognizing USB-C headphones and continue to play on speaker

Before I request a refund I noticed that the phone sometimes does not recolonize the headphones that came with the phone. It would still play from the speakers (music).
In often cases it will detect the headphone for 3-4 seconds, and the icon on the top will disappear and switch to speaker.
In other cases, when I switch apps from say spotify to another app, it will also start playing on speaker.
Anyone expericing the same issue?
