On LG stock Oreo it was called "UHD", not "4K".
Do you see UHD?
LG V30/V30+/V30S all have Snapdragon 835. In published chipset specs, Qualcomm calls it "4K UHD" -- but LG just called it "UHD" in the V30 video recorder settings (at least on stock Oreo).

It's hardware specific, it uses two cameras to take the photo and that is how it can be edited. Porting would not provide that on G5

If you dont like the modules then V20 ( plus, v20 has quad DAC, better build). Other than that, they are the same (V20 is a lot more expensive though..)..
Performance and camera QUALITY is slightly better on the G5

But i heard v20 camera is good ?? Is it true ?? What is superior in v20 than g5 ?? All same ??
The camera app on the v20 is better but the image quality on the G5 is top notch&unbeatable
The v20 is better in everything connected to audio
Why doesnt the v30 have 4k 60fps , i just think it should since its partly marketed as a videography phone

No. Even Pixel 2 XL doesn't have it, due to Snapdragon 835:

This limitation seems to have more to do with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 chipset than anything else though.

Correct. You need hardware support. It's no way you could do 4K encoding/decoding in software only. SD835 does not support it.

If someone dumped the file will it work with our V30 ? I know we have GCam but it would be a nice option.
Just thinking out loud.
According to TechNick's review video, Xperia 1 III has no option to record 60fps in full 4K resolution of 3840×2160 (16:9), but only cropped 3840×1644 (21:9), even in Cinema Pro. Is this true? If so, would there be any workaround to record 3840×2160 @ 60fps? I pray someone makes a mod to unlock this functionality.

There's a free and open-source solution if the camera hardware supports 4k60 - OpenCamera. Works great with recent Sony phones because there isn't too much proprietary stuff in camera hardware.

the problem is, on my device it didn't have access to other sensors than main 24mm and the front-facing one.
I use filmic pro and mcpro24fps
