Amazfit GTS automatic arrhytmia identification - Amazfit

Anyone manage to get the Biotracker (all-day heart rate and automatic arrhytmia identification, incl. atrial fibrillation) to work? Shouldnt the watch give some feedback regarding the heart beat. Or is it not released in Europe yet?

That function will not be available in any way on the GTS/GTR. It cant detected arythmia cause it doesnt do a ECG, but take pointy HR, it should be done by mi watch if it has the right sensor (it must by more pricey than the basic version).

Amazit GTS has the sensor, but as the website said:
Note: *The AI automatic identification function for arrhythmia (including atrial fibrillation) will be gradually available in different countries based on local regulations.
So, what we need to do is just to wait until is available in our country in next firmware releases.

No. It cant. If you read it says about an "AI". It isnt an ecg sensor, so it can stimate about your hearth rate in a number of cases, or statistics. Its not a sensor. And it cant say in real time if you had an arythmia

Using Redmi 3 with Google Play and Cardboard

Hi all.
I just took delivery of a Redmi 3 in Switzerland, bought from an online vendor. The unit was pre-configured for English, had the Mi market replaced with Google Play, and very few pre-installed apps. The MIUI version shows
MIUI Global 7.1|Stable
71.91.99(LHPCNCK)
I have not rooted it, but have replaced the Mi Launcher with Nova for a familiar look.
The only real thing I miss is the lack of 5GHz wifi, which gives me poorer reception at home. But I also have a couple of questions:
While I appreciate Google Play being installed (and default), am I missing anything important in NOT having the MiUI apps store installed, or not having a Mi account?
I want to use this phone with Google Cardboard. But, in use, while the VR works fine when head turning up-and-down, it doesn't respond when moving side-to-side. The Compass app seems to work OK (if a little jittery). Is there some calibration that I need to do? Or is it just not possible?
There's a setting under Network->More called "wireless display". Does anyone know what this is, if I can use this to display my phone's screen on a bigger display? Is it Miracast, something else? It would be great if I could use this feature.
Many thanks for any suggestions. And this is just after day 1!
i believe that's problem with Redmi 3 it self, since it also happen on me, when i use cardboard it deosn't work properly ( ithink there is something with sensor, not sure if it hardware or software)
as you MIUI version, if you only need english language, go flash via Mi flash an official Rom or even perhaps Developer Rom (curently v.6.3.25) it's stable at least for me, also battery is good for few days (more than 2 day battery life-depend on how you use the phone)
Many Redmi 3 user also expirience the same problem. Because there is no real gyro hardware. U can check it from CIT mode. Akm or bosch sensor suffer jittering but only a few Yas sensor got the problem, by disabling the magnet in the cardboard. Like my device sensor is akm so i cant use vr but that ok i fell sick when using vr (borrowing my friends vr). I still hoping its only a software problem. Coz there is no gyro hardware, some said its an emulated compas and accelerometer sensor. If its true may be an OP or DEV can make the fix
I have the same problem, it's impossible to pan sideways, just up and down, it makes Cardboard useless. Hope someone can find a fix to this problem!

I just bought a VR visor, and my phone has a Yas sensor, in this case should it work? Can I use the magnet or not?

Some can, some is not. If your vision jitter, try not to use the magnet. See if it still jitter or not.

Is there a fix for the GPS measuring the routes to short

Hello
Is there a fix for the GPS measuring the routes to short. For instance will it help if i installed the "Pacified Rom"? Or does someone know if they announced a later firmware update with a fix?
Thanks
I have never ever heared that the pace measures to short, so why do you think so?
Because the Amazfit measures my running routes 150 - 200 meters shorter than the routeplaner I use. Also based on Google maps like the Amazfit.
What percentage is that of the run?
Where do you run?
I usually have no real differences, except for one route where there are a lot of houses and a forest.
Here I can see that the Pace "cuts corners", but also does every other device I have ever used ( Fenix 5 used by a friend, Sony Z1 Compact ).
Also where is the difference? On the watch? in the App? on Strava?
but there where a few changes to the GPS firmware in the CN version ( so also in the pacified ) that we hope to get in the upcoming new us rm.

I agree with the OP that the amazfit measures less than other watches (f.e. my polar m400 I used before). And with my partner's Garmin I could see it again: for a 13km through forest and mountains, it only measured 12'69km... So frustrating

I have same problem, Pace cuts about 200-300m (always) for 10km of running, compare with Lenovo k6 note and Garmin FR110.
The problem is bigger if the route have more turns. In my opinion, the watch should check the position more often.
I wrote about it on the 'Huami Beta Tester Program' but no response.
Because of that I'm going to sell my watch, in my opinion gps accuracy is the biggest problem of this watch ;(

Hmm. The last couple of days it now sometimes measures to long. And the route data is also sometimes wrong, like it draws a route parallel to the real route.

NFC??

Does the Poco F1 have NFC (at least in europe)??? I read somewhere that it doesnt have NFC, which would suck, since Google Pay just started here in Germany...
As far as we've seen specs, they all indicate it doesn't come with NFC, I guess it's a small trade they made for a cheaper phone (small for me since I don't use it)
No NFC. Read the reviews from Android Authority and GSMArena. The Verge also covered the phone.
I don't mind since there are no other SD845 phones under $399. They had to cut corners. NFC and IP cert are usually on the chopping block as far as features go...
No it does not have nfc
People in India don't need NFC. Because we barely use it. In the last five years I never used NFC. Maybe for Europe people their transport system has payments with NFC so they'll face an issue.

I never use NFC for payment. But using NFC for sending files (android beam) or transferring file from old phone to new one (if both support NFC) are pretty neat!
I am still confused. Many places say it doesn't have it but some websites (XDA included) state it does. Could someone verify?
Maybe its possible to Upgrade NFC with a NFC enabled Back Cover. WE need a tear down Video already!
The specs given initially on XDA included NFC. But it handy seems this was not correct - the post has been ammended to state "no NFC", consistent with other reports and hands-on videos I've seen.
I've never come across an external NFC device for any phone. Would be a handy device to have, though it would presumably occupy the usb-c, which in itself would be a PITA
Someone on another forum raised an interesting idea. There were the initial ideas that the F1 might have NFC. It was suggested that either the European version might have NFC or even that all versions might have NFC but that it might not be enabled in the Indian ROM.
To check this, if anyone has an F1, could they please install DevCheck from XDA or Play and just check on the hardware page to verify that NFC hardware is not present.
Thanks a million

Speaking of the European version, is that a thing yet? Is it possible to get my hands on that from anywhere?
Well bad news, devcheck shows no nfc hardware.

Hi Sanjay, that's the case on my Hong Kong / international version too - i think naff47 is asking about the European version (if that's different from the international one - highly doubtful I'd have thought). I read from someone in the Netherlands that it had launched there (it's available on import from China pretty much everywhere), but haven't seen this confirmed.
Time will tell

Hongkong probably will be made in China, whereas mine is made in India.
Not too sure if there is any other manufacturing facility for our phone
Plus I don't think NFC will add that much to the cost that they will put it in selectively.
The only way to use NFC with the F1 is by getting Samsung S3 Fronier smart watch. That will connect to the F1 and the watch has NFC. I tested it and it works great. You need to use Magisk hide if you're rooted,
There is no NFC built into the Poco.

Great to hear you've found that setup works!
Just to check, have you managed to write to tags as well as read from them?
I won't be shelling out on a Samsung smart watch, but if that works, there's hope for other smart watches!

Who is gonna spend that much and that also in country like India.
but in India we use Mostly Paytm, PhonePe, BHIM UPI etc. apps which are UPI based apps so We don't need NFC must Have.
UPI is the standard way from Indian Government to Pay Digitally even with Low End Phones, and this phone is made accordingly!

Amazfit Stratos 3 questions for new (potential) buyer

Title may be a bit misleading, lol, it is "Amazfit Stratos 3" questions...
I have been searching on the internet (forums, reviews and YouTube vids etc.), then I came up with some questions, hoping some owners can help me out
How many data fields (big one in the squre boxes , not the top bar) can it show in one workout page at a time? From all the pictures I can find online, it shows 4 data fields, while the Stratos plus can show 6, this to me is a downgrade...
Can you customize each data field of what it shows?
Is there an all day stress monitor function? According to FirstBeat page, it does not have stress
Has anyone compared its workout data quality/accuracy vs Garmin watches, are they good enough to ditch Garmin
Any rumors/plans that it will come with more FirstBeat functions in the future updates?
Many thanks in advance!

This is based on CN firmware/ROM:
1. 3, 4 or 5 data fields
2. Yes, in Amazfit app
3. Stress level monitoring is only available for CN firmware, not for US, and it's not expected any time soon. Data only is registered in the watch, not in the app
4. IDK...
5. IDK...

Thanks for the reply! This is so very useful to me.
All those region based differences are really frustrating. I also know the CN version Huawei Watch GT2 got more features than the internatioanl one.
And it is quite strange about the stress monitoring. I am not sure why there is both region difference and platform difference for many brands. Platform difference that the stress monitoring is supported when paired with Android but not with iOS, heck?

yes,
Paceficator project is based on CN firmware, look at this thread:

Just a question pls. Does the Stratos 3 have a SPO2 (Blood Oxygen) messurment? German/Euope version.
Thanks
I would not buy this watch.
I was very pleased with it. But today I'm experiencing to much issues and bugs.
I bought 3 Amazfit watches (GTR, Stratos 3 and GTS) and 2 were buggy or barely useable.
And I think the last one (GTS) is starting to show strange behaviours.
I think I'll turn away from Huami unless they correct all the bugs that makes their watch unusable.
It's too bad as they also introduced very nice features.
Yeah, i know about the quality of Amazfit. But my question is: Is there a SPO2 messurment?

AMAZFIT GTR 4 Blood Pressure (Global Version)

Dear All
I saw in the review that GTR 4 could perform blood pressure measurements. However, I am not able to activate it. Does anyone know how to activate the function?
there is no such a option yet, it should be available with a firmware update to the end of this year, but I don't believe it anymore.
