Apps reset their settings

To start off, I am on UnNamed 1.0.4
I was wondering if anyone else experiences this problem im having. Basically, if i open the music app and select a sound effect it works just fine while the app is running. When i exit the app or restart the phone, it resets back to the stock normal selection. It never holds the selection i choose and i have to choose it everytime i open the app.
another app that does something similar to this is the web browser. I can turn on google instant from the google homepage, but if i exit the browser or restart the phone, it resets back to off.
Im not 100 percent sure, but i dont think i had this problem while running stock.
anyone else experiencing this or know how to fix it?
edit: another issue i have is i do not receive google+ notifications. I have tried multiple roms and clearing data and everything i can think of but i still dont get them when i got them perfectly fine running stock.

urgent help needed. factory reset didn't work

I have a 7100 sg3. I factory reset because my friend got a hold of my phone while I was asleep and tried deleting bloatware. In the process he seems to have gotten rid of, or made to stop working, the app that keeps calls log, as well using the dialpad on the phone to dial a number causes the phone app to freeze and crash, afterwards it says contacts crashed. After a phone call is completed the phone freezes until a message pops up saying that phone.sec has crashed.I also can't install apps wether from the market or 3rd party apk.
I've checked all the files that are related to these apps and they're all still there. Though obviously not operating properly. Oh another thing is that when I go to the application manager it doesn't show me how m much memory any one app is using. Also can't clear cache data.
Any and all ideas will be appreciated, comments to factory restore will be scoffed at

lg g5 problems

first blue tooth connection. My phone connected for phone services just find but no for android auto. I called Honda and tech did a factory reset on the audio system. it did more harm then help. My phone still was not found for android auto. However now all my contacts and recent calls will not show up. I still can make and receive calls but I can no longer get messages or see my contacts. After factory reset every thing seems to be not working. any Ideas? no one seems to be able to help me with this. PS I deleted my phone and tried installed it again but still the same issues.

LG G Vista 2 "Unfortunately System UI Has Stopped"

Hi all,
I've got an LG G Vista 2 that I've been trying to turn into an audiobook/podcast/mp3 player after decommissioning it from use as a cellphone about a year ago. However, whenever I boot the phone the screen remains black and a popup appears saying: "Unfortunately System UI has stopped". When tapping "ok" to close the popup the screen remains black and shortly later another popup appears, effectively preventing any interfacing with the device. Even keeping the power down menu open long enough to turn off the phone is a struggle.
It seems like the most common recommendation online is to factory reset the phone through recovery mode - I have tried that several times, each time the popup comes up even before going through the Android setup process. The same popup comes up even in safe mode. I'm at a loss of what to do: I have no way to interface with the phone, through the device still seems to work fine. I'm wondering if this issue is possibly caused by a hardware fault that is manifesting in a software issue, or if the OS install is just incredibly corrupted.
Is there any way to reinstall Android on the phone without being able to access its GUI? Being a lower-end phone from several years ago it is rather hard to find OEM ROMs online, though even if I had a ROM I wouldn't know exactly what to do. I would appreciate any recommendations on where to go from here.
Thanks.
Were you able to solve this issue?
No, unfortunately not. It doesn't seem to be a straightforward fix and I haven't gotten around to really working on it. I'm still open for sugustions if anyone has any tips.

Moto Edge text/keyboard issues

I constantly have to reboot the Edge several times a day bc the keyboard disappears.
I am aware to clean Messages app cache. Uninstall/Reinstall my messages apps and keyboards numerous times.
Moto says I need to do a factory reset which for obvious reasons I don't want to do.
Why would my ability to type (keyboard) constantly disappear? Why can't I get it back no matter what I do (other than reboot)?
I have had this issue with other phones but usually a clean cache in Messages fixes it or it's an issue with my keyboard.
I've tried swiftkey, grammerly and Gboard of course but it does the same with all. I am rebooting my phone in order to able to type at least 10-12 times a day.
Any help greatly appreciated!!! TIA
