Hello. My tv was cycling on logo, so I found the firmware put it in into a blank usb drive and tried to flash it. There was a power failure and the tv turned off during the update. Now my tv dosen't start, red light on the sensor is present.
I tried holding power key, power key + volume+, still no luck.
I bought a "PL2303 USB To RS232 TTL Converter Adapter Module" on aliexpress, connected with a vga cable, plugged in the vga cable into the tv, and the other part into the laptop. Updated the drivers, configured KITTY but it still does not recognize the tv.
Is there any way how to revive it?
Board CV628H_T42
Thanks.
Look right firmware maybe you downloaded firmware for low or high resolution.
See instruction here:

Good luck

Hello, I just received my new All share Cast Hub in the mail and made an attempt to power it on. According to the instructions when I connect it to a power source, the LED should turn red and begin to flash. Mine will not turn red, am I missing a step? I have tried connecting it to a USB power source with the same results and I also have the HDMI connector attached.

Maybe the unit is defect?
I took it our of my box, pluged in the TV and electricity and it started to flash the red LED. (actually just followed the manual instructions)
Did you try to push the reset button or someting? Did you try a different electricity outlet?

Yes I tried all of that, I guess it is just a bad unit.
Hi All,
When connecting my Archos using mini-HDMI to HDMI I can see the tablet on the TV for half a second and then TV's screen goes green.
Any suggestions?
10xs,
Nahum
Faulty hdmi cable is most likely or you didnt push in the cable fully at each end. I have a dodgy cable that does the same thing
10XS, I'll check it.
I just hooked up one of those Volans MHL to HDMI converter boxes. I connected to the TV but when I plugged in the power, the charge indicator on the Tablet flashed on an off and so did the TV picture. I rebooted everything and made sure I tried an isolated USB power supply. I disconnected the HDMI cable to make sure it wasn't an issue with the tv but the power still flashed on and off.
Any ideas? Anyone had success with this? If it looks like a faulty unit, I'll just get another but if it is a design fault, I'll look elsewhere.
Thanks
Another bug i noticed is the OTG. I noticed that there is a limit in terms for power draw a USB-C OTG device can receive from the USB-C port of the Mate 20 Pro. USB Power automatically shutsdown depending on a certain current draw and the scenario is somewhat random. This error has been persistent until now with the current version of the F/W (.126)
Although from the phone notification, "Supplying power to the connected device over USB" is present, you will notice from the LED indicator of device attached to the USB port shuts down right after you plug it. If you attempt to re-plug it, usb power is randomly restored.
I am using a USB-C usb hub with HDMI port as the OTG device. I tested this device with another phone (P10, Samsung, etc), power is stable.
I actually have the some problems reading my otg with a USB drive connected. The connection is intermittent. Sometimes it can read the drive and sometimes it can't. I tried it on my P20 Pro and it's working fine. It will be great if others can try it out and review it here.
I'm on version 9.0.0.183 (patch05). Thanks
No otg problem hdmi desktop mode
I am on emui 9.0.0.198 and I have no problem connecting my television through hdmi without extra power. Although at first the connection failed (tv screen showing red stripes and intermittently switching to black screen) and I had to change hdmi cable. Desktop mode worked fine after that hdmi replacement. Maybe just hdmi does not draw much power.
Mate 20 pro.
I bought a usb-c to hdmi cable, it connected to my new LG PC monitor a few times with no problems. But recently (no sure when or why) it will not connect to the monitor but it will connect fine to my Samsung series 7 TV.
The phone notification says the phone is supplying power to the usb device.
I have a ugreen 16gb USB/usb c flash that I used to use on my p20 lite and it worked fine. I tried it with my mate 20 pro and it does not work. I also have a hdmi/usb c for desktop mode and that works with no issue.
I purchased USB c / female USB adapter and when I plug in my OTG USB memory (that does not work when plugged into the phone) now works perfectly.
Does anyone know if it's possible to access the PX5's OTG USB using one of the existing external USB connections (without having to pull the head unit apart)? I'm trying to get a USB connection for ADB and came across this on the wiki:
Bootloader mode
Holding the power button while turning on the unit will get you into bootloader mode. **This is battery power not acc power** The screen will be black but plugging in a usb to the front usb will prompt the PC to install the RockChip bootloader drivers - this might help http://www.cnx-software.com/2013/11...install-rockchip-usb-drivers-in-windows-xp78/

I noticed on the MTCD schematic that the MCU has pins for CTL_RECOVERY and CTL_WAKEUP, which leads me to believe it might be possible to program the PX5 in place using some sort key combination. I tried the wiki instructions, but can't get the PX5 get picked up at all on the USB connection.
It depends on the hardware - Some GS might as the original GS has the hardware configuration and switch correctly implemented, which some GS users have reported. Others manufacturer units might not, ostensibly because they messed up the implementation (e.g. my JY or Joying).
Give it try, put device into recovery mode and connect usb port to PC.
Teh crickets!
Oops, pardon the late response. I've given it a try and the manufacturer even sent a special cable (purple connector instead of the white), but I'm unable to get the PC to detect anything on the USB port. Doesn't even try to enumerate a device on Windows.
If it helps, this is a KLD device.
