I am using realme 3 pro since last March. From that time my internet speed was very low compared to other phones. I was waiting for fixes as I thought it was some bug issues. But after Realme OS update still, the internet is very slow. My roommate also has realme phone and in the same place, in the same network, like Jio or Airtel (both tested), in his phone internet speed (suppose) 800kbps and in my phone, it is 80/100 kbps. This issue is happening in every case (app download from AppStore, youtube video even in PUBG, ping is very high). Please Help Me to fix it. I am so frustrated.

Hi. I recently got a brand new unlocked Atrix. Even tho I have full bars and 3G connection 90% of the time internet is terribly slow at best, sometimes there is none at all. When it is fast it is REALLY fast, but that happens almost never.
Any suggestions? This never happened with my previous Galaxy S or iPhone devices.
Some additional info:
After running SpeedTest app I got 999ms latency and under 10kbps d/l speed.
I got a china phone Jiayu G3 everything is fine beside wifi
I got around 50-100 kB/s speed, if im close to the router i can get full speed, but even on others rooms i got good signal strentg, the phone shows same signal strenght as others devices, but get this low speed.
Another problem is when im conected with the phone and using it the who net colapse, it`s like if the max bandwidth is determinated by the smartphone, about the channel whenever i use a different channel from 11 the connection is very unstable i lose it every 2 mins, the problem is there are others nets on channel 11 so i have to avoid it.
What do you think i have some problem with the smarthphone wifi or it could be some router incompatibility/configuration?

up, there is any chance that the phone is fine and it`s my router problem, some kind of incompatibility with the smartphone wifi chip?
Another thng i cant understand if the signal is strong why i get so low speed?

I'm having problems with the wifi on the Mate 10 pro, when i'm in the same room it's fine, if i move to a room further away the wifi signal is pretty dismal and wont even load a webpage, i then have to switch to my 4G data plan. In the same room, my S8 note and LG V30 work perfectly , anyone else had this issue ?
No problem here easily getting the full 200Mbs of the 200Mbs account that I have.

I have changed from cust, I have updated the phone and it is still bad.
my wife has an s8 and conesta with my 5ghz router at 867 mbps, my mate 10pro at 433 and unstable....
Hi, hope I've posted in right place apologies if not!
I can connect devices to my phones hotspot no problem but for some reason the connection/speeds between my phone & PS4 is really low. D/load sits approx 400 kBps and u/load 3 mBps (wifi or USB). I have tried alternating the bandwidth on phone (2.4 & 5ghz) and different channels but no improvement.
Normal tests on phone's 4g (EE) sit around 60/15 mBps.
My previous phone (s6 edge on O2) comfortably worked around 20/4 mBps. Issue is def between Mate 10 Pro & PS4.
Any help gratefully received!
That's very strange, have you tried another device say laptop to see what speeds you are getting?

When the home other devices work fine, speeds nowhere near as high as phone's 4G on its own but decent enough ~10mb. At work at minute and signal not strongest but ipad still registers ~4MB download when on hotspot. Still plenty more than PS4 gets. Huawei tech support no help, just passes me to network provider.
From Huawei perspective it's not a Mate Pro fault as it works with other wireless device fine. I will test my PS4 today and report back on my speeds.

I do suspect it's something to do with my handset not necessarily the phone model just hoped they may offer some light as to where I should make changes etc.

hotspot and mobile network functionality issues
For some strange reason when the mobile hotspot is turned on the mobile network on the phone which allows me to send text messages and make phone calls seems to fail. Has anybody experienced the same problem? Well I'm previous phones I can have a hotspot on and have up to 4 maybe more devices connect it and still be able to use the phone at the same time, i e: text messages, phone calls, multimedia messages, playing online games on the phone, looking at videos on the phone, even the internet. I think it may be the mate 10 Pro because I have not experienced this problem with any other phone.
Iam experience the same problem I tried everything . nothing helps. I see that iam broadcast my hotspot wifi signal. But no device can connect.
No worry brother, I just back from huawei services center and they well notice Hotspot issue and promise will fix it on next update.
I got problem with my data connection. when I watch youtube and netflix or even download playstore, the internet speed always around more or less 500kbs even I have high signal. i tried also speedtest and i got high download speed. why is that happen?
You ran speedtest and you said you had high download speed. That means there is nothing wrong with your smartphone. More than likely Netflix and YouTube have very busy servers, slowing down your speed.
this is 5g using three uk
