Help, disable volume getting lower on notifications - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello, I searched for a solution but couldn't find one (at least to my specific problem).
You all know how android lowers the music volume when you get notification, and there is a solution to use silent mode,
but what I want is, to hear all the notifications, but without lowering my youtube/spotify audio (like in good old Android days). Can it be done? Is there some root patch?
I'm using Galaxy S9 Android 9 ONEUI 1.0.
Rooted with Magisk.

[Q] Media volume auto lowering on headphone disconnect

has anyone noticed that the media volume automatically lowers (if its on high/max) when the headphones are disconnected?
this is kinda of annoying for me as i only really use the headphones jack to connect to my car stereo so i would prefer it to be a bit louder than normal.
ive tried it on PowerAMP, Meridian and the stock music player
Is there a way to stop this from happening?
SGS2 running KE7 with FD mod and apps frozen
Upz!
Done some searching but couldn't find a solution.
I havent tried this myself, (haven't got my SGS2 yet) but i wonder if Tasker can help you. Sound like it can run sript to do something when the headset is plugged or unplugged.
true but thats just a workaround rather than a solution
i was hoping someone had figured out how to disable this auto-lowering permanently
SGS2 (sprint) here and it has same problem... anyone found a solution to this? annoying as heck since I use 3.5mm exclusively for in-car's aux port and constantly need to increase volume to max on plugin...
Having same issue on Droid X CM 7.1, I'm thinking it's an Android 2.3.5 thing. I've tried using takser and setting profiles to overcome it, but I've had limited success.
Hi
It is my first post in forum.
I have SGS2 with 2.3.5 of Android.
I have the same problem, even when I don't use headphones.
Media volume (sms, email) is reduced at its lowest automatically when I receive an SMS or email notification. Then I have to kill all programs by (clear memory).
Any solution yet?

[Q] Permanent solution to too low In-call volume on headset

Hi,
I'm on Galaxy S2; Android 2.3.3; KE7.
When using headphones on my device the volume is great for music, videos, youtube, and even skype. However for some reason it's only around half of that level when calling (even tough the volume is set to maximum).
I've done some google research and found out that it's quite a common issue with this phone. A workaround has been found by using some codes. However, it is not a permanent solution.
I've found a post which says that someone had called Samsung and they acknowledged the issue and will send them a new phone where this issue has been fixed.
1) Has anyone found a permanent solution to increasing the volume of the call when on headset?
2) I've also found a post where someone says that apparently Samsung will fix this issue in Android 2.3.4. Can you confirm this? When will this be available? If it's longer than 1-2 weeks I will have to send my phone for a refund/exchange (although I love it).
Your advice on the above is much appreciated.
Hi, I've done some further research and I think I've found the solution:
First make sure that your sound is on (as you can't access the volume settings in the silent mode) -> press the Menu button -> Settings -> Sound -> Volume -> and then increase the 'Incoming call' volume.
I've just tested the call volume when on headset and it has been increased to a more that enough level. Great. My love to this phone is growing
Now I have to figure out how to disable the camera shutter sound....but that's a question for another post...
It seems that the solution above worked for some time but now my phone started to deliver very low call volume when on headphones. Maybe it's due to the Android update, I don't know.
However I found that the issue is related to the media volume. For example when I listen to music and turn the volume low then this affects the incoming call volume and it becomes low as well.
The solution to this problem seems to be: make sure that the music volume is max before you want to make a call. I've just tested it an is seems to do the trick.
It would be great to hear to another solutions to this problem for unrooted phones.
Heard this app works well,

How to boost headset volume in Android 7.0 Nougat? (phone is rooted)

Hello everyone, i hope this is the right place for my question and that someone will be able to help me.
I recently purchased Ulefone Power 2. That's a Chinese phone based on MTK6750T Octa-core cpu and Android Nougat 7.0.
Since i'm hearing impaired i have to boost headset volume a lot, which was very easy to do on my old LG G3 (there was an dedicated app for that, which ofc required root).
However, increasing volume on Ulefone turned out to be very hard task.
I found out about engineering menu which is accessed by ##3646633## code, and i increased headset volume to max. value of 160.
Volume is now slightly louder, but unfortunately still not enough for my needs.
Ulefone is rooted and i have access to root files in \etc folder (which contains volume files i need to edit - at least i assume so), but the problem is i don't know which .xml file i'm supposed to edit to raise that max. 160 volume - common sense didn't help me much.
Is here anyone who can tell me how to solve this? I hope i explained my problem well, feel free to ask me for any further explanation, and thanks in advance to everyone who reads this.

Low volume after a while

Hello guys, coming from Zuk Z2 i'm now part of your community. Sorry if my english is not perfect, i'm not a native speaker, feel free to correct me or ask what i mean if you couldn't understand something properly.
So problem is, after a few minutes of listening to music (99% Spotify) my volume suddenly become low. From my experiences with my older phones, it seems to me like dialog pop-up box showed up saying my volume is too high for my ears (you know what i mean, high volume warning). But i disabled it. Weird. Only restart helps but only for a short moment.
Thing is, right from the start of using this phone, i didn't like low volume on headphones specifically in Spotify. So i followed this guide:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-9/how-to/guide-honor-9-headphone-volume-increase-t3711247
I followed only first two steps - for disabling high volume warning limit.
Next files or folders i couldn't find , for example " /product/etc/audio/hi6403 " but that seems to be problem of my current android and emui version.
I'm using Android 8.0, Emui 8.0 , rooted with Magisk and with TWRP.
Next weird thing is, my phone is missing Huawei Histen 3D Audio.
After fresh install and setting up my phone i followed this guide:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-6x/how-to/guide-list-bloat-software-emui-safe-to-t3700814
Tell me please if something from the list could remove, or possibly damage my volume.
Thanks in advance. Have a nice day.
