I recently changed my Google password and since then I'm unable to sign in to my YouTube account with YouTube Vanced or OGYouTube. When I click the sign in button:
For Ogyoutube - the Accounts window comes up listing the email address that I use for Google (greyed out) and saying "Please check your network connection"
For Vanced a blank Accounts window comes up. I click the plus sign and the sign in window comes up asking for email or phone. I enter my Google email address and it says "This account already exists on your device"*
I have MicroG installed. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling both apps. Also I cut power to my Android TV box and turned it on again to reboot it. No luck. Any ideas what might be going on?

I searched around and have not found anyone posting with the same issue but I cannot figure it out.
In the notifications section at the top of my touchpad there is constantly a message from google.
It has the g icon and it says "Google Web login required."
I tried signing in to every google option I could find and even went on to my gmail account through the browser and nothing I do removes this message....
Anyone have any suggestions?
try removing your google account from account settings and readding it.
I've had the same issue and you need to unlock your google account using the captcha. Just google "google captcha" and unlock the account.
you don't have two step authentication enabled on your google account do you?
have the same issue and did the whole unlock thing and still have the issue. And no I do not have 2 step verification nor do I want it. If that is going to be a requirement to use an email client then screw gmail I will go back to just using yahoo which is my main email. What is with google and making things anti user, they have to make everything so convoluted. All yahoo does is similar to what my bank does when I add a new billpay, just sends a confirmation email with a link to disable it if you did not add it. Got that when I added my yahoo email to my touchpad, and it is working fine. But no google has to have their 2 step verification, sorry I do not want that hassle, even if it is just once a month, its complete overkill.
anyway, I just set it to update manual only so I don't get that annoying message every 2 minutes if I keep getting it will just delete the account, still working fine on my android phone.
Hello everybody,
I am having some problems with hangouts on my Nexus 5 and also on google plus website so not sure what the problem is but I get an error when I am trying to access the app wich say it "couldn't connect to the server" and I tried to factory reset the phone removing and re-adding the account restarting the phone, I also deactivated both hangouts and google play services and tried to reinstall the apps but nothing seems to work.
The phone is not rooted and everything is standard as the Nexus 5 arrived.
Now what I did before this error appeared is that I added gmail to my google account, before I used just an email from another host so not sure if this has something to do with it?
I also created a new google account and hangouts worked with that account but still not with my real google account.
Anybody that have any solutions to my problem?
I use latest RR Nougat with gapps on my OnePlus one installed by 2 days, all worked good; but yesterday, casually, it logged out automatically from my Google account and I can't enter it. After I do the login the screen;"Verifying Information" pops up and after few seconds it goes out and pop up this message:"Network error, see your connections and retry".
I don't know what to do, I wiped cache, updated play store and play services, changed connections, but nothing.. I can't add any other account, it do the same thing.
Help me, I can't use any Google apps with my account.
P.S. I don't have 2-step verify enabled, from the PC I can enter my Google account.
PROBLEM
Just installed Android 10 on Pixel 3 XL
Gmail app for my Exchange email account is notifying me: "Security Update Required"
Clicking the notification opens the Gmail app and gives me a prompt to "Update Now"
Clicking "Update now" on the prompt crashes the app and brings back the notification referenced above
Not sure if related but I've noticed Gmail is no longer listed as a "Device Admin"
WHAT I'VE TRIED
Different combinations of deleting account, deleting and reinstalling Gmail updates, clearing data/cache
Factory reset
Calling Pixel support
I'm at my wit's end...please help!
Same issue here, on a 3a. Removed and re-added the account to no avail. I'm unfortunately using the Outlook app as a workaround for now. One theory I have is that it's due to the age of the Exchange server (2010) we're using.
Guys - This self resolved for me and others (it appears). Thanks to all.
Hey everyone,
I'm using the POCO M4 Pro,
Intially i had set up my google accounts on my phone, and when logging in on any computer or device, I could choose the choose yes on my device, and I would get a notification to log in, choose a number and could get in to my google account.
Now the signin prompt / notification doesn't show at all...
What I've tried: re-enabling notifications, permissions, checking all the notification permissions for chrome, play services and google, making sure they're all updated...
Please help
