Hello Everyone,
I recently upgraded to EMUI 10 update and i noticed that the contact picture which used to get displayed full screen is now getting displayed in a small circle (coin size). Is there a way to change this setting?

Hi Everyone,
So I have noticed with my new S3 that when I do certain things my screen colours are change. For instance if I am watching a movie using there new picture on the home screen thing and then I set it back to full screen and rotate the screen and then put it back on the home screen the text in my text messages is all screwed up and has a white border around all the text. As soon as I close the video this issue resolves it self.
Would this be a hardware or software issue and can any of you please try this for your self.
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: Can some of you S3 owners please do the following.
1: Load up a video with the default player.
2: Use the picture and picture feature.
3: Then return the video to full screen by tapping on the small video.
4: Then rotate the screen with the video playing to full screen.
5: Then return the video to the PnP mode and load up your text messages.
You should see your text has a white haze around all of the text.
Can someone please confirm.

Your phone comes with an LCD test menu. You could use that to check for any issues on that front.
Following instructions from The SGS3 Indian FAQ and Discussion Thread could help you out. Thanks to Bala_gamer
* Enter the dialer and input the following code "*#0*#, it will give you a set of options to test the mobile.
* The same lcd test menu can be used for testing the tint issues, the main menu of the lcd test should look white rather than pinkish white or warmer white. you can either decide it yourself by your eyes or compare it with another AMOLED screen.
* Black dots are present on almost all AMOLED panels with varying intensity. Its not an issue. But if you still want to check for lesser dots take your mobile to pitch dark environment and load a complete black wallpaper, once your eyes get setlled to the environment look over the scrren. you will notice those spots.
I hope this tells you where the problem is. Lemme know if it works.
Hi,
Thanks for the information I tried it and everything looks good. I went down to my local Optus dealer today and I could replicate the same issues with the pebble blue handset they had on display. It seems to me it's a software issue.

Well, what do you know. You were right!..Never would've even thought of that, come to tell you the truth. I'm afraid I'm completely out of my depth here. I've faced the same issue. Try posting the question in the forum I posted in my previous reply. The admin should be able to figure it out. I'll second your post.

Hi All,
I Purchased a New Lumia 920 and before updating it to Amber GDR2 the screen was flickering a lot. But after the update it stopped flickering but a new issue has arised lately. If I play any game or a Skype call for more than 5-10 mins I can see a blue line appearing at the top of the screen & the phone becomes bit hot. If I exit from the game and go in the start screen or in the menu & try to scroll up or down, the screen it stays there for a second or two.. I tried to take screenshots but couldn't the line in them so I took photographs from my other phone. I've attached the photos for the same. Please suggest.
Also when Glance Screen is on the screen flickers a lot.

Contact the store you bought it from for exchange/repair, it may be a hardware issue. First have you peformed a factory reset? You might try to flash the current rom with Nokia Software Updater 4.1.0 to be sure it isn`t a software issue.

if you can not see this error on the screenshot then it is not software related. then it is the hardware, the lcd. i changed my lcd just after 2 months of using my lumia 920, it had an dead pixel row after this short time. Nokia replaced my screen in an hour in the store. you should bring your device to a service too.
Hi guys,
Is anyone else having this issue?
I am using Whatsapp 2.11.468 version and while I am using my phone messages I receive gets big pop up on top of the screen. Its annoying.
I have looked everywhere but with no luck.
In attachment you can see how this looks like.
I have LG G3 and running custom rom AndroidNow HD 6.2
Hello everyone, hope you're all doing great.
My M10P used to do screen recording Oreo without issues but since I upgraded to Pie, it only shows black screen but all the sound plays without issues.
I wanted to check if the problem is from the app so I downloaded two different screen recorders but the same issues persist.
I also checked all permissions but they're all in order. I also checked "draw over other apps" and "system write permissions" but still to no avail.
Please, does anyone have an idea of what is to be done?
I do have the same issue since I upgraded to 9.0. Black screen when recording or when using ApowerMirror to mirror my screen on my computer. Using P20 Pro.
Hope someone has a fix for this !
EDIT : I have noticed that the overlays such as Messenger bubbles will show up on the recording.
Hey everyone,
I'm hoping someone can help me figure this out.
I just bought this phone used and I'm noticing a weird issue in Android
There are 3 dots near the top of the display that I can see flashing.
I've tried doing a reset to see if this works, but it doesn't.
These dots ONLY show up after Android is initialized. On the same screen during the reset process, you can't see them. I've included a couple of videos showing what I'm talking about
First video shows the phone after a factory reset
Second video shows the boot screen after a restart from Android
Third video shows it during normal app usage in Android
Fourth video shows the recovery menu to ensure Android hasn't loaded

Those are the proximity sensors.
The bad news is that you need to tell Motorola to replace your phone.
I'm not sure what the good news is here.
I have the three dots too, just purchased 5 days ago. It's just the proximity sensors. I know it's kinda annoying, but they only flash occasionally and it's not easy to see unless you're in darkness or doing something to trigger them. I'm choosing to ignore them -- seems all of the moto edge phones do this, really doesn't bother me and I can't be bothered returning the phone when the screen seems to be working OK.

3 dots
I have had a lot of issues with my phone screen but I've never seen the 3 dots
hello
The device I just received has the same problem as you. The three dots flashing on the screen should be sensors

Yes we have a common problem, but the three dots flashing on the screen are supposed to be sensors, and I wonder what kind of sensor it is
Yes those 3 dots worried me te first day I noticed them but I just tested the proximity sensor and they are under the screen so is not a issue.. but I have a question.. did you guys experienced a battery drain in stand by?
