Hi there, a couple of month ago I flashed the SGP311 of a friend with a lineage 15.1 and everything worked fine for nearly 3 month. After that time the tab didn´t boot to lineage anymore, it stucked in the boot animation for nearly 10 minutes before it rebooted to TWRP every time I´ve tried. I tried to resett and reflash lineage 15.1 but nochting changed. I also tried a lineage 16 for that tab but same results...
I´ve read a hint to flash an older stock rom via flashtool, also tried this, flashtool recognised a connected device, but not which device it was. After that I´ve tried an prerooted stock rom flashed via TWRP. At this point only the bootscreen (sony android) is shown and nothing is happening, no (visible) access to any recovery anymore, no access over flashtool...
Do you have any ideas?

Use Flashtool v0.9.18.6 and install all the necessary drivers (Flashmode|Fastboot|USB) and flash any stock firmware except 5.1.1 (4.4.4 or earlier).

This morning as took my tablet the screen did not switch on, i tried to reboot then it stuck on bootanimation, then i tried to wipe; it still stuck on
bootanimation. Next I tried a complete wipe and installed a new Rom --> same Problem only goes to the bootanimation.
Then I tried to flash with odin, it tells me "complete write operation failed" and err:0x4. Nvflash isn't working too. So what can I do. I was on CM 10.1 nightly before, and evertything worked very well till this morning. I still can go to Download mode but twrp is not working anymore.
Thanks in advance in sorry about my poor english.

@dvb127 This morning the same happend to my Tablet. Could you find a way to fix it?
I have been running a CM-Version of january and switched to nightlies a couple of days ago. I can't remember anything else I changed
What I tried: flashed a new version of CWM (6.0.3.2) via ODIN and installed the january & newest CM via CWM. Both worked fine.
Still the same problem. When I boot the tablet it reboots several times and gets stuck in the CM bootanimation. Factoryreset and wiping /data causes a reboot.

I flashed a Stock Rom with Odin first, i had to too this in a win XP PC, because it didn't work in win8, rooted again, now I'm in cm again without any pproblems.
Hey, thanks a lot - worked for me as well
Hi, few month ago, I have unlocked the bootloader, rooted my phone, and installed CWM and CM 11.
It was quite buggy, and OTA updates didn't work, and I needed something more stable.
Yesterday, I wanted to reboot into recovery, and try flashing SlimKat or a newer CM if I don't like the Slimkat.
The combination of keys for Recovery didn't work and there wasn't any reasonable way to get around it.
On adb, the phone got detected, but offline, so I wasn't able to reboot into recovery this way.
Fast forward couple of hours, I have tried flashing about everything, but didn't manage anything besides being able to pass adb commands.
Now,
- when I turn on the phone the phone hangs on the Sony logo and I have to force turn it off
- I get the phone on ADB even when it keeps hanging on the Sony logo
- I can get into Fastboot by holding the up button on conneting to computer
- I have flashed the boot.img from CM11 for XPeria P to bring CWM back, but didn't happen, or did happen, but I can't get into recovery
- "adb reboot recovery" brings me to the same old hanging SONY logo.
- pushing whatever on boot doesn't help > SONY logo
Please help!
Why not just flash stock with flashtool?
[SOLVED] Partially...
I have downloaded FTF file for the device, and manage to flash it using Flashtool (worked only if I flashed incl. Kernel) and got the device up and running. I tried reflashing CM and Slim again, but none worked as I still wasn't able to get into recovery, so I reflashed once more. Finally, the device is working - with the stock firmware, at least...

This is a solution. When you flashing CM you need to flash CM kernel too. In some cases kernel needs to be flashed several times(for example before flashing CM and after flashing it).
Sorry for my bad English.
Thanks a lot for explanation. I'm happy to have the stock now, and will probably stick with it for the time being.
Hi everyone,
I have a problem with my phone. Android 7.1.2 (Lineage OS 14.1) is installed in the GS4, and it worked perfectly. The recovery is TWRP. Yesterday, the Lineage OS developers released a system update, so I downloaded it from the phone settings and then tapped on the icon to install it. Then it booted into recovery and I installed the file downloaded (the auto-installation does not work for me). So, when it finished installing the new version, I rebooted the phone and... it was stuck at the Galaxy S4 boot logo. Hence, I rebooted it to see if ti worked but nothing, so I decided to go again into recovery ad perform a full wipe and a clean installation. Rebooted the phone but it continues to stuck at the logo. I also tried to install a previous version of android, which I am sure it works (because it was the first I installed), but the situation doesn't change. I also tried to get into downloading mode, and it goes, so I used a tool called FonePaw Data Recovery to try to fix the problem but it doesn't change. I also installed a different version of TWRP via Odin, but the system won't boot.
So, in conclusion, the phone is able to boot properly into recovery mode and downloading mode but not able to boot system. What can I do now?

Man, you saved me!!!
I followed this guide and now it works perfectly. Wow! Thank you very very much.
Hello everyone. This is my first thread on this XDA and I hope if somebody could help me. First of all, I know this phone was released in 2011 and it is considered old and outdated but I could really aprreciate help. I checked many threads and Youtube guides (I considered only those with good rating) and spent total of approximately of 16 or more hours in order to fix this but none of them were good for my case.
So here's the problem. Problem appeared about 20 months ago. First, I installed CM 11 on phone and everything was working fine except for the front camera. Then I tried flashing back to Stock ROM which I've downloaded from SamMobile. I used Odin for both times. After process was over, my problem appeared. Every time I turned on the phone it didn't get past Samsung Galaxy S+ logo. So I figured out it was Boot loop and that it can be fixed. I just couldn't find the working way.
Here are things I've tried: 1) Flashing Stock ROM via Odin without wiping cache first
2) Flashing CM 12 via Odin without wiping cache first
3) Flashing CWM Recovery via Odin, wiping cache and then flashing Stock ROM via Odin
4) Putting phone in Download mode, connecting it to PC and running Kies (Kies couldn't connect the phone because device wasn't responding)
From above mentioned only number 3 partially worked. CWM installed correctly but after I flashed Stock ROM I got same Boot loop problem again.
Hello everyone,
My phone has a small issue. It was running under lineage 15.1 and after an update never restarted correctly (bootloop).
The first thing I tried to do is going to twrp to restore a backup, but when in twrp, touchscreen does not work. It also doesn't work in eRecovery.
I saw somewhere on the forums that a boot.img flash was required, so I tried flashing a save I did a while ago, with no luck.
Also tried older and newer versions of twrp.
Can anyone help me ?
