As now Magisk is unable to hide the bootloader unlocked status and SafetyNet is failed.
So if we relock bootloader and unroot the android then it will pass the SafetyNet or not?
People are saying even with safety net fail they can still use gpay... did you try to still use it?

100% unmodified unboxed 6 days ago. No Root, bootloader not unlocked (OEM unlocked but "relocked" it as it was pointless) I installed Root Browser just to check and I think I have access to files I shouldn't have access to without root. Images of the "home directory?" below.
SafetyNet Fails every time image below
thats just how it is now with many safety net test softwares, read more here https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=77419040&postcount=454
I've unlocked my bootloader using Mi Unlock tool, flashed TWRP, then force encryption disabler zip and magisk. All went fine and all working normal. But when I check developer options, the unlock status doesn't show "unlocked" and oem unlocking option is on (it should be greyed out, right?) I've checked the bootloader status using Mi Unlock tool and even through adb, and bootloader unlock status is true. Root works fine, magisk passes safetynet. No problems at all. But why is the bootloader status not updated? Does it have anything to do with encryption? Posting screenshots for reference.
Any help would be great. Thanks in advance!

Yea. I had that too. All was fine tho as u mentioned. And then i flashed miui 10. 8.9.4 and in that it shows bootloader unlocked in developer options.
Even if u dont flash miui 10. I guess its good to go as it might only be any some bug or anything.

Yeah, it's probably just a bug. Everything works fine, but was just wondering why it would not show up. Thanks anyways!

Hi,
Does anyone know how to relock the bootloader after I unlocked it and had a custom rom on it?
I want to use services like Google Pay without Magisk and it dosnt work with the bootloader unlocked.
I tried to switch the "OEM unlock" option in Developer option back off, but it looks like it is off, although below the switch it says: Bootloader alredy unlocked.
If i switch it, it'll just go trought the unlocking process as if the BL wasnt locked (Factory reset and BL still unlocked)
Im using the SM-G965F DualSIM bought in Germany (CSC is DBT) on CSG8 Firmware.
I unlocked the BL on CSE3 Firmware.

If you flashed custom recovery and afterwards custom ROM, KNOX is tripped so bootloader (OEM) is permanently unlocked. There is no way to bypass that.

Co-Signed... You're Done.
There Is No Turning Back....
Let This Be A Lesson To Anyone That Reads This Thread:
You Need To Weigh Out If Rooting And Tripping Knox is worth loosing Samsung Pay & Google Pay. Even though there may be "Backdoors" to allow you to use Google Pay without Security...
But Why Would You Use Google Pay When Your Phone Is No Longer Secure??? and leave yourself Vulnerable to having your info violated?
Once You've Crossed The Line... You Have To Live With That Choice... No Matter How Unpalatable It Becomes..
Hi,
My phone is running official stock firmware, however the bootloader remains unlocked, as such apps protected by the SafetyNet do not work.
I've seen guides saying that you can simply run some code via adb, but I'm guessing this won't work in this case..?
Unfortunately I do not have a backup of the TA partition- does this make re-locking the bootloader impossible?
If so, are there alternatives for patching the safetyNet that would work?
Many thanks
To all of you that have unlocked the bootloader and/or installed custom roms and recoveries,Magisk etc,
Can the phone pass SafetyNet in any way?
