I've a problem with my stratos watch (maybe it started after amazfit app update to ver 4) my problem is the watch not sending WhatsApp or messenger notification till I remove the app and install it again but the watch receive call notifications ordinary.
Can anyone tell me what's the problem??

Hi, I had same problem (watch connected but no notifications). After factory reset of stratos 3 everything is ok. Try this.

Tried to reset it worked ok for just one day or maybe less then same problem

Hi everybody, since one month the Amazfit stops syncing after a while and the notifications stop working. When I reboot the Amazfit the app syncs again and everything works fine but after some hours it stops syncing and showing notifications again. I've tried stoping amazfit app, switch off and on the wifi, bt, airplane mode, even restarting the phone but the only thing working is rebooting the Amazfit.
I'm becoming desesperate, anybody with some clue?

Hi, I had similar problem when change my android one phone with a new xioami (miui8) phone, I solved the problem by forcing amazfit app run in background (in miui task manager)
Hello! yesterday I factory reset the my watch, and didnt upload backed activity from amazfit to the watch, so now the watch is "clean". Til now it seems to work ok! No sync problems. I hope it's fixed.

Hello, I have same problem.
I have factory restarted the watch 4 or 5 times, i uninstall and install the app and still nothing!?
Since the AGPS want sync i have very bad GPS recorded running activity.
Please help?

Uninstall Amazfit Watch App [3.xx]
Restart the Phone.
Install Amazfit Watch App [Downgrade to 2.7x or 2.9x by manual install APK]
Again pairing and A-GPS can update.
Have downgraded to 2.9. Will report back on AGPS status.

Can I ask, can people on the forum please try a manual sync? Options -> Sync? On my Stratos, it fails at 34%. Want to see if it's something at my end, or if related to the Xiaomi server issues.
I am having the same problem with the Verge China 3.0.50.0 and App 3.6.1.
I have sync like more than 20 times and it still tell me that my AGPS data has expired.

Seems ok today.
When you pull down the sync you will see the sync progress (%). The the first count will go to 90% and finish. Then it will reset to 10% and count to 90% then finish.
Previously the 2nd count sync will stuck at 10% for a while and stop.

I've been using Amazfit Verge for about three months. Everything was ok until yesterday when some of the notifications stopped working. I didn't change anything in the settings. It stopped by itself. I still get notification when someone rings or the alarm clock is set but all application notifications such as Messenger, Facebook od Telegram do not work. I tried to unpair and pair the smartwatch again, uninstall and install the Amazfit application but the result is still the same. Thanks for the help.

A1811, latest firmware and amazfit app . Mi 9 global eea miui 11. For now, the problem disappeared after resetting the whole phone to factory settings.
Amazfit has an option to test notifications: if they work but you don't get notifications from other apps, then you must reset Amazfit app permission to access notifications in phone settings. If the test notifications don't work then something is wrong in the connection between 0hine and watch (make sure watch isn't in DND/Silent mode).
And today it has happened again. Notifications stopped coming to the watch again, and nothing changed in the settings.
I' ve just recently bought redmi note 9 pro. My amazfit watch is t-rex. Since then every time I turn on my redmi , I have to enable gps, in order to connect the t-rex with zepp app, otherwise it doesn't connect. The message that appears is in the screenshot
Same with Amazfit Bip
Had same issue with my Amazfit Bip initially when the app was released. After about a dozen connects it now allows me to sync with bluetooth only however the initial sync only loads steps counts, I have to close app fully and reload to get it to sync any sleep data.
Weird!
I simply uninstalled the app. It has become pretty useless.

True. For me, it was nothing lost, because nothing I did (other than uninstalling it and then installing it again - every time) would make it connect. It was working perfectly fine before it became zepp.

Every once in a while I get the message 'connection failed, update to the latest app to synchronize data'. I click the message away and I get back to my watchface, only my screen stays always on after getting this message. I always have to reboot...
I did already a factory reset, but didn't helped. I have a custom watchface, could that be the problem ? Or is it something else ? Anybody ?

That I have to test...but don't want to have the standard facewatch anyway...
I did test it. Have occasionally the message on all tried watchfaces...I use the zepp app in combination with notify and fitness. Any one a solution ?
Maybe downgrade firmware and then update again to latest firmware? This sometimes fixes bugs..
I have the exact same problem with the Amazfit GTS . I have the same combination (Zepp app + Notify and fitness) and every few hours (or even more frequently) I get the same message and the screen stays on until I notice. Even if I press the screen for the message to go away the screen stays on until I also press the physical button.
Also besides that, the battery drain is awful. I used to get around 20-22 days of battery (with Amazfit app and Notify and fitness and everything enabled, even continuous heart rate) and now with the exact same settings i 5-6 days.. I can only get 1 day more if I disable things.
Problems started back in late August, early September when the Amazfit app changed to Zepp app but I am not sure if this is a fault of Zepp app or a problem between notify and fitness and the new Zepp app.
I have tried to do a factory reset to the watch, to delete zepp app and add it again etc etc but nothing changed. I have the default watchface and never used a custom one.
If someone finds a solution please inform us.
