I am also curious if this can be done, I also prefer the Xperia UI over this. Have you found anything yet?
By the way, if you happen to use skype, does your camera work on video call? I can't make mine work on video call.
If you deodexed your stock rom for applying various framework mods and want to Reodex and remove mods then flash the zip given and avoid reflashing your ROM. Factory resetting deodexed stock isc cause bootloop.
After reodexing you can format your phone..

hmm, DEX means Dalvik executable. ODEX means Optimised DEX.
stock sony rom is odexed, it has faster app loading while booting. In "/system/framework/" there are some .odex files, when we use any tool to deodex any ROM, these .odex files are combined in the file belonging to that .odex file as for example in framework folder there are files core.jar and core.odex, when you deodex, the core.odex file is combined with the core.jar and the output is single file that is core.jar.
The benefit of deodexing is that if we want to do some changes to those framework files, we only have to make changes to one file. the drawback is that your phone will boot little bit slow.
Camera Recording Is Needed In My Case So I Managed To Fix It .
I Modified Old AOSP Camera Apk.
Just Some Changes,
Done
Bugs :

It was just a feedback, keep calm in a day i probably flashing same rom 10 times
screens please
Working flawlessly on N910F XXU1BOC5.
Will it work on n910t?
On which version are those files based. BOD2?
Let me guess. To do this, my Rom has to be deodexed right? Because I have a N910F and both apps won't work. They kept crashing after flashing and boot up

Thank you.
In my system/app and system/priv_app there were two odex files in each of arm folder.
I just deleted the two odex files each for phone and camera and rebooted. Now phone app and camera works.

Thanks for this.
I flashed the zips manually like said in the OP, and had the apps crashing when I loaded back up. I'm on the stock rom which is still ODEX-ed, but after deleting the ODEX files it all seems to be working well.
Now I can finally lower the DPI from the ridiculously large default without messing up the apps!
Camera tested on N910C LP
Only issue for me (density at 480)
is the mode selection where the text is ontop of the icon and some are black (should be white text color)
else good work man!!!
Hey guys. i have recently soft bricked my Xperia z2 after installing the Xperia X Systemui in TWRP recovery. i will be glad if any out there would upload a flashable Stock Marshmallow systemui that I can flash. That flash could save my phone PLEASE! Thanks!!

here's an empty flash file, put whatever you want inside the appropriate folder and flash, in this case put the systemUI folder inside the /priv-app in the zip, you can delete the other empty folders but it's not needed.
This file can be used if you create your own deodexed rom.
Can anyone give me deodexed stock xperia z2 framework.jar and services.jar files?thanks
