Hey,
i just flashed official EUI indian 19s on my Le max 2 due to battery issue with all oreo custom roms.
i enabled Camera2api using build prop editor.
But now when i am trying to install any developer's google cam mod i am facing multiple problems-
1. Many mods doesn't support android 6.0.1 because of that every time when i am trying to install a modded apk i get this error - THERE WAS A PROBLEM WHILE PARSING THE PACKAGE. ( Screenshot attached)
2. After searching for some time i am able to find some modded apk which does install but they r also not working properly - some are giving bizarre pinkish images and some r dont even have basic HDR+ function in them. ( Screenshot attached)
Could you guys please suggest me which google camera mod supports indian 19s and work properly and have basic function like HDR+ and portrait mode working .

Heyyo, you'll need a version of Google Camera Mod for Marshmallow and you will also need to force Camera API v2 as EUI ROM only uses camera API v1.
This guide tells you how to do that and it is the same on X2 with EUI ROM. I the raw mode stuff probably won't work as that is MediaTek specific parts for this guide.

I already enabled Camera2Api using that same method and i cheeked it using Manual Camera Compatibility app from plus store and Camera2Api is working super fine after it.
The real issue is i am unable to find a modded version of Gcam which have basic function working properly android marshmallow 6.0.1 - some are giving bizarre pinkish images and some r dont even have basic HDR+ function in them.
Because approximately every modded app work only with oreo or nogut.
Is anyone out there who is using a modded Gcam which have basic function working properly Like HDR+ and Portrait Mode on eui 19s Indian,

Most mods are based on Google Camera 5. Thus, they won't install on Marshmallow, because original Google Camera 5 requires Android 7.1.
Afaik latest Google Camera suitable for Android 6 is version 3.2 and it uses only camera api v1.
There may be som mods with decreased min API to allow install newer Google Camera versions on older Android, but I doubt it's going to work.
Btw. portatit mode is not possible on Android 6.0. It requires Android 8.

Try the method in link, above
1: Root your ROM
2: Install Es File explorer
3: Go to system/Build prop
4: edit file and in camera section add line
" persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1"
Reboot phone and video recording will work.

I've obviously done that. GCam requires HAL3 to be enabled to work at all... AFAIK Video doesn't work at all for some apps in Pie.

Pixel Experience is showing Rapid charging and all other ROMs showing slow charging with normal charger,.
and i have noted down time with normal charger Pixel Experience is charging very fast.
Boot leggers, Arrow os, AEX, CrDroid all showing slow charging. i still do not know the reason why only Pixel Experience is showing "Rapid Charging" :silly:
Edit: in My opinion Arrow OS and CrDroid are very good builds, but because of slow charging i went back to Pixel Experience.
I have Devices same model and in both same results, one device is for testing and one in my use.
I am unable to get that Fingerprint scanner when i install any Oreo custom ROM, but at Pie Custom ROMs it is working very well, Any clue that how to activate that.
I found a downgrade zip tp flash after ROM and whenever i flash my phone go to Bootloop, and than i back to Recover and i am unable to mount any Firmware,... Than i have to flash stock Oreo by Fastboot to get alive.
Than again flash TWRP and so on....
Anybody can Help here?

Oreo ROMs require Nougat fingerprint firmware. You should flash the firmware through Fastboot, not TWRP.

You mean i have to flash complete Nougat Stock ROM before flashing Oreo custom?
I do not Understand why people spread wrong fixes on Forums if there is only fix to switch from Stock Nougat to Custom Oreo and Stock Oreo to Custom Pie...

I never updated Bootloader and Partition.gpt i skipped both commands while flashing Oreo, but let me check instructions shared by you. Thanks man..

And if i will flash Pie again Fingerprint will work?

Yes, but you need to flash Oreo firmware to be able to have fp on Pie ROMs.

I have added Oreo stock files for PIE ROMs And tested these are working well, No need to flash Stock Oreo, just to use attached zip and flash via fastboot and it's working.
Hello. This is a build of descendant targeted at Ali that has been shared/used on telegram for awhile now. Original developer of the rom is Dil3mm4.
Must be used on official pie base (vendor/boot, etc). If on Oreo base, you must use the official gsi variant instead. This is March security patch but has patch level overridden for safetynet.
Changes from official gsi variant:
- gapps/vanilla builds are separate with AppInfo reverts in vanilla build to fix settings without gapps.
- Google Fi completely works including carrier switching. Various other carrier/radio improvements.
- Prints/props from official pie release to pass safetynet/device registration out of the box.
- Targeted at armv8-a cortex-a53 opposed to armv7-a-neon generic.
- Qcom IMS for volte, other carrier blobs added.
- Fully functional MotCamera2 incl portrait, play store upgradeable.
- Qcom perf fixed/integrated.
- sdcardfs enabled.
- (SUBS BROKE FOR NOW)No treble overlay apk in use, so substratum works without additional hacks.
- hwui/art configs from stock pie.
- qcom sepolicy to fix battery stats being reset on reboot and for qcom telephony support.
- NFC removed entirely from build due to constant background crashing.
- Beginning of notification sound being cut off fixed (audio offload changes).
- Call recording setting shown (don't break the law in your jurisdiction).
- Hotword enrollment blobs added from stock pie. Fixes voice enrollment, but hotword only works over Bluetooth or headset devices.
Bugs:
- okgoogle hotword doesn't work.
- no nfc.
- upgrades sometimes affect safetynet (unsure here).
- Boost mobile may have issues with LTE. Some users report as working, others not. Recent IMS changes may have fixed this (they fixed Sprint for me on Fi).
- Some networks may have DHCP issues (fix incoming).
Install instructions:
- Be on leak or official pie base (vendor, boot, etc). Be sure to backup system prior. Be using dejello's unofficial twrp.
Files: descendant for pie with G6 specific changes (always download most recent of gapps or vanilla (nongapps).

- Wipe data if unencrypted. Format data if encrypted (will erase entire internal storage. You can stay unencrypted even on stock pie to keep data).
- Flash image to system.
- Flash Forceencrypt zip and magisk 18.1 zip.
- Reboot to setup wizard ?.
- If magisk manager is not displayed due to data wipe, there are no issues with reflashing magisk with your device setup.
Upgrading: Flash system.img and reboot. Reflash microg if using, no need for reflash of magisk or gapps if using either.
All good on VZW xt1925-6 ontop of Brazilian stock pie
I missed some props in R3 for volte. It will be fixed in R3.1, but until then you may install voenabler in magisk to add the props for volte/vowifi.

It's just an arm system image to be installed on top of official pie. Arm64 support will take vendor and kernel/ramdisk changes as well, and is quite a lot to do -- especially alone.
R4 uploaded. Changes from R3:
- Fixed substratum (accidental break in R3).
- Fixed volte.
- Added fully functional MotCamera2 with HDR, portrait, etc. Also play store upgradeable ?.

Yes, fingerprint gestures is currently a WIP that will be integrated soon through an open source lineage-based alternative fingerprint gesture handler.
I'm also going to start doing builds of resurrection remix with these repos (changes).

I've been running it as a DD for around a month, as well as many others (my household has two G6 in use, and both have been on it). Aside from bugs listed, nothing else I'm aware of.
It's just an arm system image to be installed on top of official pie. Arm64 support will take vendor and kernel/ramdisk changes as well, and is quite a lot to do -- especially alone.
If you're after gcam, the linked 3.2 bsg mod does take very good photos aside from dots and vignette that will probably never be fixed on our device. It's a lens issue that affects all gcam versions that other phones such as the op3/5 had, but with their camera sensors it was easier to fix. The OV12A10 (and omnivision in general) is notoriously hard to work on. Many tried for mi a1 dots which had a huge userbase with no luck.
I've only been able to improve digital noise slightly through using lavender eeprom and disabling digital gain while in low light.

Not likely to get a 64 bit ROM anytime soon. You can all stop asking now.

I build a Camera API2 Enabler zip to flash with custom recoverys.
I don´t try it because im on stock now, i need stock ROM for work because custom roms don´t let me work with some apps that i need because bootloader is unlocked and Google Play says that is a uncertify device ( #$%"$% ).
I pick the libs from Lineage OS, i had Lineage OS and Camera API2 works very well.
It will backup default libs and add switch lines to build.prop.
If you try it tell me if worked for you!

Hi, Im a new user and wants to make a new thread. Where do I start?
Hi guys! Long time reader first time writer here.
In going straight to the point: I was on EvoX 7.0 and wanted to change to Pixel Experience (both a13) so I updated firmware (I was in 12.5.7 fw and PE recommended 13.0.1). The rom was buggy, battery was performing poorly, and fingerprint wasn’t working so I decided to go back to EvoX. The thing is that after performing a clean flash of both the rom and the firmware, the phone got stuck in bootloop. It never passed the redmi logo. What’s strange is that it can boot with firmware 12.5.3 and 13.0.1, but performance is nowhere near how it performed originally with 12.5.7. I tried flashing 12.5.7 stock rom trough MiFlash, both without locking the bootloader and locking it, and then flashing the rom, but problem still persists. Now I’m stuck with roms or firmware I don’t like as it does not perform as I was used to.
I tried asking trough the telegram support groups but I only found 2 guys with the same problem and none of them solved it, so any help will be greatly appreciated.

did you find a way to solve it??
found rom joyeuse_id_global_images_V12.0.1.0.QJZMIXM_global based on android 10 that work without sound lags.
but it doesnt have phone call recordings as indonesia rom.. forget about indonesia rom.
the only indonesia rom i found working is joyeuse_id_global_images_V12.5.1.0.RJZIDXM based on android 11
or joyeuse_id_global_images_V13.0.4.0.SJZIDXM indonesia android 12 but no solution for mounting folders for now : ((
i use to have joyeuse_id_global_images_V12.0.5.0.QJZIDXM indonesia android 10 working fine on my phone with phone recordings and magisk mountfolder stuff like apps2sd working fine. but i updated it to android 12 miui13 now no way to get back to this rom without lags and glitch bug sound .. dunno why. i tried something like 10 android10 roms only 1 working ://.

i just tryed joyeuse_id_global_images_V12.0.4.0.QJZIDXM indonesia rom Android 10 and i recommand it because apparently everything is working fine .. no lag bugs ...
