Using TyTN headphones with laptop

I'm interested in carrying around one pair of headphones for my PDA and laptop. I don't think any cable exists but I could probably make one up. I would need a 3.5 audio plug connected to a mini extUSB female socket - do they exist? The closest thing I can find is a extUSB 3-in-1 Adaptor:

but it's a bit big.

Audio out through usb

Is there anyway to output audio through the usb port and into a set of ear buds? Like a micro usb to headphone jack adapter? I hate having the audio jack on top and would love to use the bottom usb port instead.
Bump
I dont know of a actual stand alone adapter for this, but, if you get a samsung car dock, infuse dock for example, the bottom piece should route the audio.
That piece of the dock plugs into the usb port and that piece has both 3.5mm aux and the usb so you still can charge. I havent tried, but a usb extension cable should allow it to still work without having to plug the bulky adapter directly into the phone.
Thats the only option ive found so far.
I would like to see this more often...Apple has so many great docks where you can charge your device while outputting audio. I wish Android had more support for this.

[Q] micro usb charging ports on tablet z

I was wondering if experts on this forum can help clarify these questions.
The tablet Z has a rectangular shaped micro usb receptacle which is the microusb A/B type as I understand it. Although the normal popular micro usb B type connector which is supplied with the tablet Will fit in there, it is kind of loose, being able to move a little bit. Whereas the A type connector which is usually found on the OTG cables is a perfect fit and does not move around..
So, why is it that even Sony does not supply a cable which perfectly fit the receptacle?
If I use an otg cable to charge somehow (by making another cable from otg cable for eg or using otg with a normal usb male to male cable), since 5 pins are used in the otg connector will it in any way damage the tablet? (physically or otherwise..)

Do USB C headphones work

Hi all,
I asked this same question over in the Verizon G5 forum, but thought more users might see it here as there is almost no activity in the Verizon section.
I was just curious if anyone has tried to use a pair of USB Type C headphones with the G5 or if they know if the G5 supports usb c headphones or adapters. I purchased a really really cheap usb type c to 3.5mm adapter and it did not work, but I don't know if the adapter is bad or it the phone doesn't support the type c audio.
Just curious.
Thanks.

3.5 mm jack to usb c adapter

I've seen plenty of usb c to 3.5 mm jack adapter, but I'd like to use my leeco earphone that came with my Le Max 2 in my PC. For that I need an 3.5 mm jack to usb c adapter. I've searched but couldn't find any. Has anyone seen one of these?

If you want to use the included head phones on your pc you need a female usb-c to a male usb-a

Thanks. It would work and I'll buy one. But I still would need an male 3.5 mm to female usb-c adapter to be able to use it in my tablet and other electronics. It seems I'll need to wait a little.

I think you'll wait forever for 3.5mm to usb-c. It's not just a matter of wiring a plug, the usb-c headphones are digital. In other words, you'll convert from analog to digital in your adapter only to convert from digital back to analog in the headphones. On top of that, the 3.5mm jack doesn't deliver power, so your adapter would need a battery (to power both the adapter and the headphones.)
