Merging from two different IDs in Amazfit - Amazfit

Dear All,
I use an Amazfit GTR watch and use the Mi account to log in to the Amazfit app. Recently I had a to reinstall the app and I used the default login option on the page assuming it was for Mi account. My previous activity data wasn't showing up and I thought that after a reinstall it would take some time for the app to sync it from the Mi servers. However, when that did not happen after 24 hours I started looking for the reason and after two days realized that the default login wasn't for a Mi account and that I had logged into another account, though the same login credentials worked. I logged out and logged back in from my Mi account but the two days of activity and sleep data when I had logged into a different account are lost. I had a long streak and now that's broken on the app since the two days are missing.
I noticed that when I logged in with the default log in option in Amazfit app another ID was created and it does not match with the one I see when I log in with the Mi account. Is there a way I can merge data from the two different IDs so that I can get back the two days of activity and sleep data into the app?
Searching for answers online hasn't yielded any positive answers and I thought the enterprising members of this forum might be able to help with it. Any suggestions on how I can go about it would be appreciated.
I use a non-rooted Android phone running on Android 10.

How does the GT & an Android phone mesh with one gmail account?

So I am wondering how my new GT will work with my one google account and my Evo.
For example, when I fist started up the GT it asked if I wanted to sync my google account, which I did. I then noticed that it put a bunch of my existing apps from my Evo onto my GT. So I now assume that any app that I have purchased on Evo in my Google account can be installed on my GT & Evo, is this correct?
Are there any disadvantages to using the same google/gmail account on both my GT and Evo? I would hope that using one account on both devices would mesh well and not cause any issues.
I was then also wondering if I should setup a new google/gmail account and leave my gmail account off just in case I let my wife/daughter use the GT. At first I liked the idea of using one account on both but now maybe not, but then I would have to buy all new apps again?
Guess I am just looking for some opinions/ideas on a good way to use both my Evo and GT together.
Thanks
Using one google account between both of your devices won't cause any problem whatsoever. I've been using the same google account on my phone and my tab (first 7" and now 10.1") for about 6 months without issue.
The Android Market (and Amazon App Store) track by both account and by device. I've managed my Evo and two Tabs under the same Gmail account without any issues.
Its the best way to do it. I have a personal email address "****@zakeen.com" that I send through gmail account and I use the gmail program on all my devices.
I was at the airport waiting for someone to come out and I had my phone there, I was writing an email to someone and the person I was waiting for came out, I just turned my phone off. It saves it automatically in the draft folder and later arriving at the hotel I turned my Tablet on and the email I half wrote was on the top of the Gmail account and I just had to finish the last sentence and send it. Did not have to go back to the same device.
Also I think for the future it will be better, like renting movies and that. I dont know much about it but I am sure it will be linked to account then rather device. So you have access to all your things related to your account for easy syncing.
Its all in the cloud. You could have your singular google account synced across as many devices as you'd like I think. If you go to market.android.com you can choose which device you install apps on.
Thanks for the responses everyone, it def seems best to just use one google account. Unless of course you don't want your significant other to see your emails and gtalk messages. Not that I have anything to hide!
Oh yeah, what about GTalk? Will IMs go to both the phone and GT or is that only one login at a time?
You could definitely have IMs go to both devices simultaneously if you're logged in on both.

[Q+Challenge] Import contacts AND groups locally on non-rooted units

Scenario/wishlist:
I need to import contacts and groups to 20 brand new phones, to begin with. (Stock, non-rooted Galaxy S4+, 4.2.2.). The phones will stay un-rooted.
Avoid if possible using Gmail sync.
Avoid if possible using Kies.
Preferably use csv and/or vcf with groups (one group for each department).
Preferably not being forced to connect every phone to a computer by usb cable. Fixable by download from web site on local wireless network.
What I've tried so far:
Imported the original CSV:s, sorted them into groups, exported them as CSV to get the correct columns for android phones. So far so good.
Exported above mentioned CSV:s to VCF from a Google Contacts, sent it over to test phone by Pushbullet (for the test only, web site solution imminent), imported it in Contacts. Does not retain groups, shows as "Not assigned". It doesn't seem possible to create local groups? They can only be created with accounts such as gmail. (As I see it, this is my main problem now).
Tried Google Account sync: Problem not solved due to one single Google account, and one Google account on all phones are susceptible to contact deletion by fat fingers and people that are struck by bad luck while thinking. One Google account for each phone would do the trick, but probably not an accepted solution by our IT security "manager", even when using Google Auth.
Tried Kies Sync: Problem not solved due to USB connection, and still no local groups.
Tried Importing CSV file into Windows Contacts (which ****s up the columns, not all are matchable) and exporting as VCF. Problem not solved, no groups.
There's talk about a Blackberry Security server being used as a security server for the units, not sure what implication that will bring. I assume it will be something like the (old/obsolete?) Samsung Dive service. What possibilities that brings for account synchronization is unclear, but the solution is at best 1-2 months away and this solution is needed a.s.a.p.
I hope there's something I've forgotten that would solve my problems and I hope someone can point me in that directions. I'm running out of options..

I got to try the import on a unit that hadn't any Google accounts added. It then added the Google Contact groups as local groups. Has to be done before though..

Help Pass Account

Hi, I've a problem with my account. I've Amazfit Pace, and amazfit app, when I got the watch I had problems with the accounts, I have created several and I do not remember what is the current one.
From the application I see the user ID,is there a way to see passw and e-mail or some data to go back to these?
Thanks

how to delete the strava account

hello, is it possible to delete the strava acount from the amazfit app? I dont want to sync it anymore
Hello. Go to Strava website, Settings -> My Apps and revoke Amazfit access.
Its not possible to remove the strava account once added in the current version of the app. Only way is to revoke access to amazfit as mentioned above.
Amazfit + Strava it is not working. Don’t trust it.
Hello, I had problem many times to sync to strava. Always shows sync OK but nothing was there.
In the past I realized the problem was that Amazfit can’t sync data made before connection with Strava. This is really useless system. Everything in the past you would never see in strava.
It seems it happened again and again. Stopped to sync. The reason should be app updates and new versions.
So forget to connection Amazfit + Strava it is not working. Don’t trust it.
What I tried:
- on the web of Strava disconnect like described above.
- Log out strava on the phone and uninstall.
- Activate the sync again in the Amazfit.
And... sync failed.
I installed the app again and log in.
Restarted the phone -reboot.
And... sync OK but no new data there.
I made new run activity a tried to sync. -
Now works
It appeared in the strava.
So forget to use connection Amafit + Strava it is not working properly. Don’t trust it.
The biggest problem of all of this is, that phone APP strava has much less functions than web version. So you have to use web version to see some details about your activity. Second that native Amazfit app is the same as strava. You can only see something not all details. That was the reason Amazfit is connected with strava to get more from watch.
Now it seems the best solution would be simply use GPX export and import to something better.
Same question for a deleted Strava account ?
I've deleted my Strava account but my Amazfit app is still linked to this deleted account.
How am I supposed to change Strava account now ?

You should have revoked access first... But now, you can try to logout from your Amazfit account and login again, if it doesn't help then try to clear app's data after you logout or uninstall then install it again.

Amazfit App:"couldn't sign in"

Hello, I switched phones now and I have been trying for the past few days to connect my Amazfit Pace with the Amazfit Application.
Every time I try to sign in via Google, There is a pop-up window titled "Couldn't sign in".
Please help me and thank you in advance,
Amit Pinto
I am having the same problem with my MI login after flashing a new ROM on my phone and trying to log unto the Amazfit Watch app. I have even created a new login to no avail. It always comes up with an error code (C020004 or C020001).
I just bought an Amazfit Verge today and I also cant login to setup the watch. Is there even a way to setup the watch without the app ?
Tried login from different devices with different Android versions, different accounts, different login methods like Google, manually, Mi Account, always the same.
The same happens on the mi fit app, just can't create or sign in.
Anyone knows what's happening?
EDIT: Also tried over home WiFi and 4g data with and without VPN, same results.
Same problem here. I tried everything but cannot register in mi fit app.
The smartwatch is useless this way.
Same for me, today I have flashed the Lineage OS 15.1 for my smartphone (Asus ZE550KL) and I can't login into Amazfit Watch app, I can't even create a new account, no matter the chosen method (email and pass, FB, Google...).
I suppose that Xiaomi checks the Android version and if the smartphone is unlocked, same as mobile banking apps do.

Well I tried on a stock one plus 7 pro, also on a stock old 4.4 and also asked a friend to try it. Same results, I don't think that should be the problem.. I'm gonna try on iOS and report my findings
EDIT: someone on Reddit contacted costumer support and they said it's a server problem wich should be fixed today or tomorrow.

I have the same problem and cannot use my new Amazfit Stratos 2!
Hope it will not be too long!
Same problem for me. Motorola Moto G3 with android, same errors. My amazfit now is bricked by inability to log in through app. Hope for some solution.
Tried it 5 minutes ago and now it works.
If still not working for someone, maybe you can cet help from my situation:
This morning I found out that no videos playing on my phone (from youtube to pornhub ), then I removed youtube app from my phone, cleared cache, restarted phone, reinstalled YT app and videos issue was solved. Right after that I tried to log-in into Amazfit app and voila - vorked like a charm. I don't know if this is due to YT reset or due to Amazfit got back the servers. Hope this helps someone.
Problem is fixed already. Amazfit knew about it yesterday and fixed.
I saw the problem today. I can't authenticate or reset the password (says the user doesn't exist) or create a new user ( "could not connect to network").
I couldn't sync watch data today
Tried resetting iPhone and reboot watch to no avail
In the end deleted and reinstalled app and now cannot sign in
I wonder if the Huami authentication server is down?

Got the same problem here. Can't sign in....
Same. Probably an issue with the authentication servers as tried logging in with all options on both Amazfit & MI Fit apps with no luck.
Watch was not syncing. Uninstalled the app and not being able to sign in again. The new update is very bad the old software was more precise and more data eg Heart Rate and Floors Climed is not there in new app. Heart Rate shows only if continuous heart rate is ok
Glad I'm not alone ....
Seems to be ok now
Can sign in and sync

I can't sign up since yesterday. I can't try my new verge lite. How can I contact to amazfit? I think it's inadmissible
Same Issue. Couldn't sync my Stratos 2 and reinstalled Amazfit App. Now I can't sign in, can't send feedback and can't register a new account.
