Is there a tool other than Seebye that can do this? Preferably one that doesn't require root.

I'm just wondering if this is really possible...I read an article where a group of people were exchanging text/sms via bluetooth. If it's doable, how? Can you do this with any bluetooth-enabled phones/pdas?
there are a number of bluetooth chat software you can download. you can use Buzzone or pocketbluechat, etc.. but the other party you are sending sms to must have installed the app also.
Ok so I downloaded GO sms pro and installed it on my g/f's phone for the two of us to use. However I'm not sure if it's actually sending free sms or not. Do I have to specifically launch some chat shell to get free messaging? Or does it automatically know I am sending to another GOSMS user and thus sends the message via internet instead of SMS?
I used to use WhatsApp because it would automatically know if your recipient had it installed and you never had to do anything extra to send a free message. It just worked automagically. But I get the feeling that GOSMS is still sending to other GOSMS users using the normal SMS route, and that you have to initiate some lame chat session like an instant messenger in order to actually send free messages, which is only good for that duration and introduces a lot of overhead to the whole messaging process.
Hi, I know that KitKat only allows to have one message app that will send sms. But is there any way to overide this? On JB I used 3 apps, I like to send messages with stock LG app, read messages and replaying htem with HoverChat when I'm in app, and I have "mysms" app, to send and recive messages from my PC, now I must just choose one of this options which is very uncomfortable. Is there any way to "fix" this?
I know there are apps to do that, but is there one that allows you to send custom automated messages to blocked users?
Hey all.
Just curious if anyone has found and workarounds for sms messages on US carriers?
I use T-Mobile and have the normal issue of the default messages app sending and receiving group messages as separate texts. This was eventually fixed on the Vivo X Fold but required an update from Vivo. I can change to another app like Google Messages but only the first text I send to someone works. After that, subsequent attempts give me the pop up asking me to send a payment request message.
Thanks.
*EDIT* So anyone else that needs this, enable developer mode and toggle on disable permission monitoring. I.didnt have to uninstall the stock messages app.
BRO, THANKYOU!
i searched everywhere for this answer!! you are a life saver truly!
