So I recently got myself a Snapdragon variant of the Redmi Note 4. I bought this phone because I want to use Havoc-OS and Sailfish OS. I have real experience of using Havoc-OS before on a Samsung Galaxy Note 4, but never tried out Sailfish OS. But one thing keeps cropping my mind: Is it possible for me to dual-boot between Havoc-OS and Sailfish OS? If possible, I don't want to own two identical devices for the sake of using two completely different mobile OS. I would be more than happy if I can dual-boot between Havoc-OS when I need to and Sailfish OS when I want to.
i would love to dual boot two different ROMs too. can anyone please find out how?

As the title States, is there any oxygenos stable pie ROM available for our device, if it's not available I'd request anyone to port for our beloved device. Undoubtedly oxygenos is better atleast to me it's better than stock. I'd like to see it, as it got ported to many devices like rn5, rn4, 4 and so on. Thank you.

I'd say until this gets ported, if it does.... Try Lineage OS., its basically stock android with extra features, quite similar to Oxygen OS, and the OnePlus devices originally had Cyanogen OS (Lineage OS predecessor) installed on them.
You could also try this magisk module, it would bring some of the OxygenOS features to any ROM as long as you have Magisk installed.

Hello Community,
iam using atm a OP6 with stock OS and a OP3T with Lineage OS. Right now i got 2 old phones from my family (an old Windows Phone and a Gigaset phone) and i want to experiment with them. I read thats there is an Ubuntu Touch Version out and OS distributions like Plasma OS or Tizen OS sound like they are worth testing too. All in all, my question is: What OS do you guys use for your phones at the moment ?

I am requesting you to help me, because it sems that nobody wants to reply me or developers are not interested about this tablet.
If I trebelize this tablet, will I be able to flash a gsi image ?.
For example : Havoc OS 3 gsi image (Android 10), Evolution X 3, or even LineageOS 17 ?.
Are there any bugs in these ROMs ? Like only two speakers are working, palm rejection doesn't work, or mobile data and gps are not working, etc...
Please help me, I really want these ROMs for this useful Samsung device.
Thanks.

It should support treble .. we have twrp 3.5 only vendor is gonna be a problem , as far as i know only android 9 vendor available ,
Lately i have noticed some youtube tutorials of how to install android 11 R (which is currently in developer mode). And seems as if many devices especially ARM64 devices are being used including J7, A3, and other A series phones.
They are using gsi roms from either google android developer webpage or Erfan's GSI roms for their tutorials
The features are pretty much the same with android 10 because not much work has said yo be not done yet.
Was just wondering if it was possible to try it on our A10.
Im not sure if there are galaxy A10 phones with ARM64, but many i saw have A64 with A/B partitions which means they use A64AB gsi roms.
Is there anyone who tried it yet? Or is it even possible or we will have to wait for other stable versions to come.
Thank you

Bro, I'm running Samsung galaxy A10 with android 11! Its soo smooth and avable ram is more than the original ROM [android 10] I'm running FLUID OS with tons of custmzation options, its great for games! Try it! Link for all Roms avable [find the 11 one] [ I recommend you use [dot is 11 , or , fluid os] they are the best Roms right now. https://forum.xda-developers.com/f/samsung-galaxy-a10-roms-kernels-recoveries-ot.8704/
So i got this phone from my cousin who used to use this but it lags like hell and i would like to upgrade it to something better, Wanted Oxygen os but it isnt available on this phone i think. So, i want to know if MIUI 12 can be installed on this phone and if not what other roms would you recommend?
Well I'm pretty sure DotOS 5.x.x is the closest custom rom to miui and is a vailable for a variety of devices.
Otherwise, HavocOS is one of my favourites, BlissOS is good too in terms of customisability.
LineageOS is often the fastest custom rom on devices, though it lacks customisation.
DotOS 5.x looks pretty good. i should do some research on the other ones as well.
I have used LineageOS for android 11 on my galaxy grand prime and while it was good it was also a bit too simplistic for my taste
edit: I dont think 5.x is available for Honor 5x
Well, most roms other than lineage and pure aosp usually are customisable, so give any of those a go. Miui 12 most likely wont be ported, as the last ported version was miui 8, and dotos 5.x probably wont be available either as this device's development is only till android 10 from what I can see.
I am on lineage os 17.1, it looks good, did not see dotos 5.x for honor 5x
