There is currently no way to do this for the Canadian H831.

[Newbie Question] Rooting a Canadian, H831 Nougat LG G5?

Sorry if this has been posted before; I've seen some posts dealing with rooting a Canadian LG G5, but not for the 7.0 Android version and H831 kernel version together.
Simply put, as a complete noob to the world of rooting, is there a relatively safe way to save a backup of my phone data (flashing, I think it's called) and of course, to root my phone? There's no lack of methods shown online and some for other software versions, but I'd rather err on the side of caution before proceeding with one type of root vs. another.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
There is no root for the LG G5 of the H831 model variety. And there probably won't be any, any time soon.

How can I root my SM-G965U?

Hello,
As in the title, I'm asking how I can root my S9+ with my carrier being Verizon. I've been trying for hours and been unsuccessful with everything. Every source I've found has noted that the US models of the S9+ are unable to be rooted. This is the last place I could think of where maybe someone would be able to help.
If anyone could help, it would be GREATLY appreciated.

Needing help with rooting lg escape plus

I have this LG Escape Plus (m-x320cm) And i want to root it, or install any custom firmware on it. But googling around about rooting this phone seems to be leading to dead ends. If anyone could help that would be very much appreciated
Thanks.
That's what carrier says:
Please do not try to modify or root your LG escape plus X320CM, if you brick it, you will not be able to unbrick/restore it back to stock.
