Hello fellow members of XDA,
I'm a new guy here, also new to rooting, flashing using adb and fastboot. So I've encoutered a problem with my father's tablet.
Somehow he softbricked it. So I tried flashing it with a firmwares found in google about the specific model. Well it turned out that the firmwares was not exactly for this tablet. I tried with with MT6589 chipset roms before I figured out that I need MT8389 ROM (as I said, I'm a noob). Sadly, after a whole two days of searching I could not find a firmware nor a custom rom. Anyone of you could help me out?
P.S: The rom I've tried to flash with SP Flash tool, flash everything except system.img. There it show the error S_DA_SDMMC_WRITE_FAILED (3154).
Thanks a lot

Hi guys
I'm following XDA forum for some years now, under a different nickname, and this is my first post.
Unfortunately this is a Help Me!!! post
This is the situation:
My son as a A13 Q88E board android tablet, and a friend of him, made some experiences with the device, installing CWM-based Recovery v6.0.1.2. in it.
Now it's stuck on a neverending bootloop recovery.
I Know that i could flash a new rom, but the problem is that this one in particular ins't available nowhere. It's a Avery E700, similar to Navcity NT-1710, and others, actually they are the exact same thing, only diferent brands.
The solution that is rolling over the internet it's to flash a Mapan rom (MX713), but chances are that it will not work 100%.
I would like to remove the CWM recovery so i can boot into system again.
Somehow i managed to extract a rom dump of the installed original rom, but that's it, i'm stuck there, i can't restore that backup, and right now i just can't afford to buy a new tablet for him.
Is there any way to replace that CWM-based recovery?
Sorry for the log post, and i want to say thanks in advance to all help you can provide.
Fernando

Best Thing is to Flash the tablet with a proper Firmware..which is very difficult to find.. recently i found a good firmware for my A13 tablet.. it worked very fine with my A13 MID tablet.. i cannot post links yet. try searching this.. tech360lanka(dot)blogspot(dot)com
Hi, recently i bought a Lenovo A316 from China.
I tried to find a custom ROM for this device, to flash with SP flash tool, but I cannot find it on all internet.
Only I have found the Stock ROM (With Chinese APPS and only English and China languages. I need Spanish).
The Stock ROM can be flashed without problems (I have made it and works)
There are a lot of upgrading ROMs in ZIP, but for this, is necessary to have CWM recovery installed.
The problem is that this device have a UBI file system and is not possible to install with MTK droid tools. (I tried but the program doesn't works with this type of file system)
The best solution will be If anybody have a custom rom (In spanish to flash with SP tools) or can port to this model other (I see there is customs ROMS of other models like A390). I also try to use the Android Kitchen but I'm newer and have not obtained any positive result.
I know that is more easy to give away this phone and buy another (my headache should cure) but I'm so pigheaded and never give up.
In this forum there are few questions about similar problems with this model but I don't see a solution at all.
Please, can somebody help me!!
Thanks
Hi... Can you please help me... a Few minutes ago i bricked my friend phone because i dont know that his phone was a clone...i tried to flash his recovery through mobileuncle and it say success but after i reboot the phone just not wouldnt start... (a black screen with baclight On only)...
Can you upload a rom for me...? Maybe im scared right now... i can fix any phone that is original but not a clone.. i am also experienced with the sp flashtool as i have flashed lenovo a850+ and a850 a lot of times... pls help me!?
fastboot mode, restore a recovery...
Some Oppo build flash recovery !!!
But its an oppo find 7 clone... i mnaged to turn it on somehow and from oppo bootscreen it changed to Gowin bootscreen... after some googling i managed to find out that its the same look and design as the Gowin M7
If it's MTK-based, it's not a clone, it's a completely different device.
A true "clone" would be identical internally and be able to run Oppo software without modification.
No one here can help you since you're messing with some noname MTK device.

Hi guys!
I have problems with my p70-t, maybe here somebody can say something how to solve it.
I try to install a custom or p70-a ROM on the phone but after spendig days on trying without any success I have no idea how to. Cant't even update (official) via cable because it exits with failure at the end (I did some ROM installing before on other devices so I'm not newbe). After buying I realized the p70-t is for chinese domestic market, so I have no 3G network in Hungary and have (had) a lot of chinese apps. In its present form the phone is far from good...
Is anybody knows here how to or have experience with this phone?
Thanks

Hello.
I had similar problem and found some solution.
First you need to unlock OEM, that is under Developers Options.
After that you should be able to flash it with SP Flash tool or using fastboot method for recovery flash.
Regards.
Hi guys!So i am trying to flash two custom roms,http://www.mtkroms.com/2016/05/stable-marshmallow-aicp-11-for-mt6582.html and http://www.mtkroms.com/2016/10/cyanogenmod-13-for-mt6582.html ,,both failed, ive followed the porting guide on the site but my phones end up in a bootloop!Thankfully i flashed a backup so the phone is working now. Before trying anything I also flashed a cwm recovery, which ive found here https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/stock-rom-please-zte-blade-vec-3g-t3217977, using sp flash tools. The device has a mt6582 in it,kernel 3.4.67,android 4.4.2. Can someone port the rom for me,or give me a step by step guide on how to do it? Or tell me what i could have done wrong?
