While this board is about the RAZR from 2019, I think this is the best place to ask about this. I am looking for the stock wallpapers included in the Motorola RAZR V3; all I have found is a dead download link from 2004. If anyone has them, or other 2000s Motorola wallpapers, please send them. I do not have a RAZR V3, and even then BitPim doesn't support it.

When I go into LauncherPro- General Settings- there's an option for Motorola Droid Hack: "May improve perfomance on Motorola Droid/Milestone phones." I've always glossed over that before, but now that I have a Milestone XT720, it seems relevant for the first time. Anyone know what exactly this is (i.e. what's special about Milestone)?

hi forum im just wondering why there is no thread for the motorola cliq2 its not fair i had to buy a mytouch 4g so i can change roms we have the defy and the droid razor for asop sake and the razor is brand spanking new so i just wanna know if anybody can answer me that will help

Rom development is kicking off nicely for the Cliq 2. CM7 is ported nicely to the phone, and works perfectly fine. Probably better off then most other phones.
Why there isn't a section for it, I don't know. You already have to option to install Leaked Gingerbread or CM7. From what I've heard, MIUI is on it's way.

Actually I was just curious if there is some kind of version upgrade on Motoblur (oops Motorola's application platform to be exact) between that of photon 4g than other moto qhd devices recently launched like that of bionic , droid 3 and the sweet droid razr.
I am sure almost all of you who have seen both device might have found that there are some minor changes like horizontal paginated drawer on droid 3/bionic versus vertical continous that of photon and some extra widgets in d3/bionic's version.
These changes doesn't matter much to me, but one thing that does matter is that MAP (or as well can blur) on D3/bionic seems much seemless,swift and lagfree to me then on stock photon.
This got me curious if ther is a new version of MAP on these new devices like Razr/bionic and if it is , is there any way to port that from these devices and get on our beloved photon.
Can some of the dev's investigate on this and let me know if its possible. I tried to google it (this is all I can do really !!) but couldn't find any answers.

I've been with Sprint for over 10 years, the last 2 of which I've had an HTC Evo 4G (rooted). I'm looking to switch over to Verizon in the next week or so and I'm leaning towards the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx (unless someone has a better suggestion for a top-of-the-line Android offering). I'm looking for some advice/suggestions on how to make the switch - I have Titanium Backups for all of my apps - is it possible to restore these on the Droid Razr Maxx if I root this too? Also, I'm very used to HTC Sense on the Evo 4G - how will this impact the switchover, and is it possible to flash a Sense ROM on this new Verizon phone? Sorry if any of these questions are dumb, I've been stuck in the Sprint world for so long, I don't know what's going on outside of it.

The maxx is a very good phone and I would highly recommend it. And I've tried almost every top tier android phone on Verizon.
As for titanium backup you can do it. Just put the same sd card in and make sure your path is set to it.
As for sense, you can't install a sense rom. Best you can do is use a third party launcher with a theme and download some third party widgets .

Hi, I had and Sony Xperia X10 and I used to change the ROM. Now I'll buy a new phone so I take a look at this forum. I don't see any forum for the Razr Maxx.
So my questions are :
Does the Razr Maxx support Razr ROM ? (they are similar, the difference seems to be the battery only)
Or is there a forum for the Maxx ?

They are the same phone except for the battery.
Both phones are indeed identical. The Maxx just has a larger battery capacity. HOWEVER - this does not necessarily mean ROMs are cleanly cross-compatible.
You will have to look at each individual ROM for the Razr. There may be indications or notes as to whether it has been flashed to a Maxx before; either from the OP or a poster in the thread. I know the majority of ROMs are labelled as being for the "Razr/Razr Maxx" but at the risk of bricking your nice new phone, you may want to check out other users experiences in the individual ROM threads before you go ahead and attempt it.

ADVICE : If you not aware whether certain ROM's labeled as RAZR are compitable with MAXX , use safestrap v3.05( if it the suggested method) , flash away without worrying on bricking . I suggest you start of with eclispe 1.5.1 using SafeStrap on one slot with your stock still secured. Cheere :good:
