Best Custom Android Q ROM for J500FN - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Im using a J500FN and tried a few ROMs here, currently using Pixel Experience based on Android Q. Its smooth and everything works but I have an issue since I got this ROM and the previous Custom ROMs for Android Q, my battery doesn't last all day. I even bought a new batter and there was no change... Is it possible to get a ROM that lasts all day? If someone knows it, kindly point me to the right direction.
Thank you

Need some help please.

I'm looking for a rom that is stock based has good battery life and is fast and stable.
Could anyone suggest me a ROM please? It must be on 4.3 or 4.4
I'm not asking which is the best I'm simply asking for suggestions.
Thank you for taking your time to read this.
I'm also fairly new to the rooting side of android or what ever you want to call it lol.
It is still a kind of asking for a rom thread. U are asking for a rom tat is fast. It is different for all users as the way they customise and wat apps they install on it affects the speed. Pls try them out urself.

Omnirom nightlies seem fairly bugless as do the latest cm 11 nightlies. I would go with omnirom as it has more features and customisations. These are of course 4.4 ROMs as there aren't any Samsung based 4.4 ROMs currently. Looking at sources it seems however that s3 4.4 update looks confirmed for some US regions. For a 4.3 ROM I'd go for the S5 revolution ROM. Seems quick with little bugs, good battery life and a S5 theme. More updates are to come. I wouldn't know much about other ROMs as I don't have the patience to flash many. I'm sure you can find many more ROMs to your liking.

latest and smooth roms?

hello, i ve been looking for a good rom for this device, but it seems that is not that much supported by rom. I saw Pacman rom but the thread was closed which means not supported anymore. so do you recommend any rom ? because my htc one max became laggy and such or do you suggest any mods to the current stock rom? or any ported rom ?
Thanks
I didn't try every possibility but... I found that the sense 7 5.0.2 rom by yankee worked the best on my Sprint onemax.
I couldn't get most others to work well... Usually data did not work. CM12 or CM13 didn't work for me...

I'm running CM13 (cf. https://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Build_for_t6vzw) or, if you don't wish to build it yourself, you can download Flyhalf's excellent ROM here:

Both run just fine on my OneMax.
HTHAL
There doesnt seem to be much support for this device anymore. Ive been following Fly's CM13 build. its really awesome and really stable. Ive tried the Nusense 6 and it was a great rom but i liked the CM 13 better and thats currently my daily driver.
Have a look here.

Thinking of getting a Max.
Probably will just doing a bit of research first.
I guess it missed the Marshmallow update?

The most stable rom I know is Epsil rom that is already in this forum, the others are often facing continous problems and lagging on the interface, so that's my advice

Mokee71.1 (android 7.1.1) rom

Hi everyone, why there is no thread about this rom (mk71.1),i am using it for a day now and everything is working, battery life is ok,there are few bugs almost non hard to find and its nothing important, stability is good i didn't have any problem whatsoever with that i use f2fs data and cache and i didn't have any freeze's, reboots or shutdowns and I think that will stay in future, they are also fast for fixing bugs, every next nightly a bug is fixed, there is ota as well which i have not tested cuz I am on the latest nightly,i will try it tomorrow and report back,i have been using roms from this guys since htc desire hd times and i was happy than and i am happy now,i recommend you try it and see for yourself its very good rom and idk why it dont have thread here.

Suggestions for new ROM

Hey everyone,
I'm currently on the 23s Chinese ROM but I'm interested in trying new ROM. I just need a normal stock Android experience with stability, but VoLTE is a must. I'm using a JIO sim for a long time and I just can't get without it. Which ROM should I flash. I tried flashing a few ROMs couple of months back but they were not working for me. So, what's the proper way of flashing a ROM to have minimum issue.

First of all aim for Android 7 as they are the most stable ROMs so far and try LOS or RR. I'm not quite sure if they have working VoLTE but you can install them and try it.

I flashed the pixel experience. It works quite well. Volte works properly and is quite stable. Tweaked a bit using xposed+gravitybox
