For some reason Xiaomi does not have one place to share the links. Sometimes it's on the main MI web page (but strongly depends which country variation you select), in other cases it's just mentioned in MI forum post (yet again depends on the country variation). People collect those links and store them for future use, but they are 100% original (as you can see where they're actually linking).

I have 3 questions
1) is it legal/valid to flash miui China alpha ROM unofficially? For example...if an mi account is not a alpha/beta tester....can he flash it unofficially.... Bcoz there is a thread for this in xda....so external link is available(for 2-3 devices)....assume I unlock my Bootloader...and I know how to flash fastboot ROMS...
2)if it is valid...then can I log in with the mi account which I had with the normal stable ROM?
3) if the update is from August/September .2017..can I update it till the latest miui China alpha ROM of 2018?

What i know is that you can flash the official chinese builds available on miui website, without any problems. But i am not sure about fastboot.
(About 2 3 months ago i flashed the chinese (3+32gb) build and it worked fine, except everyt was in Chinese and no gapps were installed)
This means alpha roms are not available in English?

Soon.
When I met with Anuj (Xiaomi India's head of marketing) some time back, he mentioned that they have an internal goal to release the sources within 3 months, but they have been trying to do it as soon as possible. The Redmi Note 7 got its kernel code released a day or two ago, so I expect the Note 7's to come by next week (guesstimate on my end).

Callers hearing echo in redmi note 7 pro even after miui 10.2.7.0 update
Callers are hearing echo whenever they call me..on NORMAL calls as well as whatsapp or messenger calls.. The mi customer service said that they have fixed the issue with update but it's still there..
This is the replacement set that i got from Flipkart. The previous handset also had the same problem

I see.. I just want to flash global stable right away..no problem with unlocking but I have to wait 360 hours before unlocking the bootloader.. how about mi flash tool through deep fash cable or the diy flash cable?
Question.
Having a Chinese variant.
Unlocked bootloader.
Normally I flash custom ROMs but want to give Global a try.
If I flash following the instructions given. Will it then automatically update to global OTA updates or each time would I have to flash via Fastboot?
How does global ROM exist if xiaomi didn't release global version? Is this ROM not made by xiaomi? User-made?

FASTBOOT CURTANAI have found this link which contains all miui versions of our redmi note 9s. I have thought that it is good to have it here, since many times we will need to use the fastboot rom for fix softbrick or bootloop, or simply for wanting to return to the original rom, and what better than having them at hand instead of having to go looking for it online
The link: https://mirom.ezbox.idv.tw/en/phone/curtana/
Another interesting link: https://mifirm.net/model/curtana.ttt
Thanks and credits for the second URL to @lolo9393
The link contains the latest version released by MIUI for all versions of Curtana (Europe, Global, India, etc.) to flash from fastboot, update from OTA or by recovery

There is no such a thread "how to root with magisk" in all XDA links.
But, "IF" you are talking about the thread "How to Root Mi A3 with MAGISK without TWRP", I will say again, because you dont understand at the first time...
...I already searched everywhere, and nothing worked
(including "How to Root Mi A3 with MAGISK without TWRP", the link to this boot.img on github is broken).
But what I just dont understand is WHY are you insisty giving me answer that I didn't ask in the first place? What I ask was:
what is the correct name of stock boot and where can I find it?
If you cant help, just liave it.
Hi Everybody.
I finally found out all this things about the stock boot.
The correct name is "boot.img".
You can EXTRACT this "boot.img" from its respective "OTA" file.
To do so, follow this steps:
1 - Find out what is the "Android Number Version" in your cellphone here:
Settings->about the device->Android Version-> Number Version.
For exemple, my "Android Number Version" is V12.0.5.0.RFQEUXM
12.0.5.0 - Firmware version
R- Android version (R-> Android 11R or Android 11 / P-> Android pie or Android 9).
FQ - Smartphone model code (FQ = Xiaomi Mi A3).
EU- Firmware build type (MI for Global | EU for Europe)
XM - Firmware version code
2 - Download "OTA" file from here:
https://www.thecustomdroid.com/xiaomi-mi-a3-android-10-update-guide/
On the website, scrool down until you get on the name of your "Android Number Version" (or just use CTRL+F) and download the "OTA" file (it is a .zip file). You just need to download the "OTA" file. The "FASTBOOT ROM" file (the .tgz file) is not necessary.
With the "OTA" file in your hands, use this tutorial to EXTRACT "boot.img":
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/tutorial-android-ota-payload-dumper-on-android.4061799/
And that is it
You already have your "boot.img".
After that, if you want to root your mi A3, use the thread
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...-root-mi-a3-with-magisk-without-twrp.3958509/
finally you have find the guide! great work man, i'm happy that i can gave you my little help

JUST ONLY XIAOMI MI MIX 4 ROMS!!!
I bought Mix 4 with EU rom. But I would like to install the offcial one.
Which version do you want?
No clue to be honest. I would say a stable version.
Bootloader has been unlocked and it is running MIUI 12.6 by xiaomi.eu.
So I want to lock the bootloader and install the official rom so I can get OTA updates.
I need to flash this with MiFlash2020-3-14-0?

Hi,
If you're still offering to allow us to have access to any CN Rom for the Mix 4, I'd like to know if there is a ROM based on Android 11.
Android 12 introduces too many restrictions on the freedom to use your phone as you would like.
Regards.
(If not, I'll simply resell this Mix4)
