How to flash TWRP?

How to root?
You never need any third-party software, such as Kingroot. In fact they always do a terrible job.
Root you device is quite simple:
1. Flash TWRP (see above)
2. Download SuperSU, checkout Chainfire's thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1538053
3. Enter TWRP and flash it, not need to wipe data, just flash it simply and reboot, you'll find everything is done.
How to install CyanogenMod and other third-party ROMs?
I've ported CyanogenMod, MoKee and SlimLP to this device, all based on Android 5.1.1

How to install GAPPS?
This is adapted to both nubia UI and CyanogenMod.
I recommend OpenGapps: http://opengapps.org/
You can choose a suitable version.
Be careful, platform should be arm64

nx512j is a snapdragon 615 one, not 810.

i now have loaded mokee (for me the best one for the continous update...
i've tried MIUI V7...it's very beautifull, but is only english and chinese...could you add italian language? i've tied but no result..

I have just ordered a z9 max and will follow your thread. Hopefully I will get it in a week or two and first thing will be rooting.
What is a "3 Network version" (as seen here)?
CM 12 for Z9 Max - Support Italian language.
I am actually using Mokee, which support italian language. I Know that your rom is multilanguage: does it support italian language?

"3 Network" means China Telecom, China Mobile and China Unicom, this model is SD810 one, I support it.
"Dual 4G" means China Mobile and China Unicom, it's a SD615 one, I don't maintain it

I was going to buy a Redmi Note 2, but I noticed some of the reviews on Aliexpress say the phone comes with malware and that Chinese advertisements pop up regularly. The reviews say you have to flash a clean Miui ROM to resolve the problem, but I had a few questions about doing this:
Where do you get a clean Miui7 ROM for the Redmi Note 2 from?
Do you need to root the phone in order to flash the ROM?
Are there any step by step instructions anywhere for flashing the ROM?
I'm not really up to date with this sort of thing so I'm grateful for any advice you can offer.
Official ROMs are available from en.miui.com. Please read their forums for info on the different types that are available for the RN2. At the moment there are stable and developer Chinese ROMs available (these contain only U.S English and Chinese), the latter being rooted.
Unofficial multilanguage ROMs are available from xiaomi.eu, in two flavours, stable and developer, the latter having built in root via the security app.
My phone was delivered with a full multi language ROM including UK English language and region available, but it was buggy and had malware, or at least adware that is not present in the official ROMs. I installed an official ROM before entering ANY personal information or accounts.
Go to the download page for the RN2 on en.miui.com, there are full instructions for the various ways to flash a ROM. You do not need a custom recovery, you do not need to be rooted, you can even do it from the built in updater app, even if it's the unofficial multi language ROM that you're flashing.

I notice the stable ROM is MIUI6 and the developer ROM is MIUI7. Do you know if they'll be releasing a stable MIUI7 ROM any time soon?
I'm trying to download a clean ROM, but the downloads seem to stop at 3MB or 16MB when it should be 700+MB. Any tips? (This is from the official site... as far as I can see)
Try using a download manager like jdownloader or download from xiaomi.eu

Remember guys, to have a super fast download from xiaomi (normaly it's http:// bigota........) you just need to copy/paste the download link to your browser and add a "o" (not a zero), and you'll have fast download

Android 9 only having fastboot ROM
Android 10 having ota ROM only
But you can make fastboot ROM by extracting ota ROM

For some reason Xiaomi does not have one place to share the links. Sometimes it's on the main MI web page (but strongly depends which country variation you select), in other cases it's just mentioned in MI forum post (yet again depends on the country variation). People collect those links and store them for future use, but they are 100% original (as you can see where they're actually linking).

No clue to be honest. I would say a stable version.
Bootloader has been unlocked and it is running MIUI 12.6 by xiaomi.eu.
So I want to lock the bootloader and install the official rom so I can get OTA updates.

And you can lock the bootloader with MiFlash Tool or ADB Tool.

I got a new k50 ultra and having a wired issue where I can't open the updater in about phone my miui version coming out of the box is 13.0.5 I tried a fix I found of using activity launcher but it didn't work I didn't even find the updater any ideas on how to fix this?

If you have a K50 ultra with a global rom the bootloader is necessarily unlocked.

this link contain Chinese rom for k50 ultra not global ,
so if i flash the global ones of 12t pro into k50 , it will breakdown the camera , on other side flashing Chinese rom cause bundle of problem like whatsapp no receiving message until open and draining of battery more ,
i try the chinese one and that what happened with me , then when try 12t pro camera stopped .
could you please provide me with global rom 14 miui with working camera for k50 ultra , if not exist please provide me with the rom 13.0.5.0 slfmxim global for k50 ultra that shown in image submitted by ahx-md because i lost it when flashing

i tried it and its flashed on my device 14.0.7 diting but its china and i face the problems i mentioned above

There is no global rom for the k50 ULTRA, these CN based roms work perfectly, camera included
this one is global that came with device when i bought it , i need it if you can!

Now after flashing china rom that in links you provided . I face problems with battery draining and some app like whatsapp not work in background and not receiving messages if it is not opened so i want to back to my old global rom 13.0.5 or any global rom updated
