Gboard personal dictionairy mod/help? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there a fix or mod that allowes the middle word from the suggestionbar in gboard to automatically be used?
I have some personal dictionairy words but i would like to avoid having to press the middle word everytime and disable the suggestionbar altoghether to clear up some space.
To clarify i would want to type my personal word, press space and let it autocorrect like the other words.
Is this possible?

Anyone?

[Q] Any way to disable text underlining while typing?

Hi guys,
do any of you know how to disable text underlining while typing anything? (For example writing an SMS). Before 2.1 a used that built-in SE keyboard, which did this as well, but I managed to disable it by disabling word auto-completion (or whatever it's called), but now on 2.1 I'm not able to get rid of it. I don't use that new SE keyboard, I use Smart Keyboard Pro instead, but it seems that it doesn't matter which keyboard I'm currenty using as they all (Androids native, SE, Smart KB Pro) underline the word I'm just typing.
I have tried to google it...without any luck.
Thanks for your answers
Letters Underline while Typing
I too would like to disable whatever setting causes the letters to be underlined while typing words. I have a droid-pro. I have unchecked settings as follows: show suggestions, auto-correct errors, auto-puncturate, auto-capitalization, show suggestions, auto-correct errors, highlight words for the touch keyboard. And I have unchecked settings as follows: auto-replace, auto-cap, auto-punctuate for the device keyboard.
Yet as I type the letters are underlined until a word is formed and the space bar pressed.
Please help! Thanks,

[Q] Make swype dictionary forget words?

On the SGS2, if the Swype dictionary doesn't know a word, you simply type it out as normal, then press space and in the future that word will be saved in the default swype dictionary so you can swipe it the next time.
But sometimes i don't know how to spell a word, so i type it in wrong and Google corrects me, but swype now remembers it. Or I type in an acyonym and now Swypes remember that too.
How can I delete "junk" that I have added to the Swype dictionary through just normal usage? I dont want to switch to Samsung Keyboard everytime I type something I'm not sure of.

Click to collapse
Incase you want to make the Swype Dictionary forget a word, simply type out the mispelled word, long tap on it and click "Select Word".
Therafter, click on the Swype Options button on the Keyboard (the one on the bottom left corner). You would get an option asking if you want to delete the word from the swype dictionary. Voila!

Custom dictionary

Not quite sure how to explain this. But on my bb I could go into the dictionary and add my own words. For example, if I typed na(space) it would automatically come up "sorry not available". Does anyone know.how to do this on an android phone? I tried to find an option on my Samsung fascinate and droid charge, no luck.

Some keyboards allow you to do acronyms like Slide It I think.
Smart Keyboard Pro allows you to do this.

You can add them as you go on swype.
You can add them as you go with the stock keyboard too. As soon as you start typing a down arrow appears. Hit that and at the bottom there is a button that says add word. Or you can you can through the settings menu, language and keyboard, touch input then to personal dictionary.
You guys are misunderstanding... Basically he wants to add shortcuts... For example typing abc I can make it type out "my name is cares"

[Q] making an undo keyboard.

Often I write long emails or chat messages, and sometimes select all to copy it. Then if i mistakingly press a key in the virtual keypad, swoosh! All text is gone!
Many keyboards keep a cache of the previous word, mostly for predictions. Can anybody make one which keeps say a thousand words in cache and add an undo button? That would be great and bring phone and tabley functionality closer to desktop.
And oh, if it is done over a stock jellybean keyboard, it would be easier and more functional i guess.
Tried to post it in thr development thread. But not allowed to because i am a noob.

How to add words to gboard dictionary while typing?

Hi, I have switched to android after 2 years. I remember earlier in android there was an option to add new words to gboard personal dictionary while typing itself, gboard used to underline unrecognised words in red,, by long pressing those words one can add it to dictionery. But now unrecognised words are underlined in blue and long pressing will only allow cut/copy/paste etc, and long pressing unrecognised words in suggestion bar shows only remove option,, no way of directy adding to personal dictionery. Please reply..
