Built in Google password manager - Samsung Galaxy S10 Guides, News, & Discussion

I've just upgraded to S10 and the Google password manager isn't working. It doesn't autofill my app logins. The option to autósok autofill passwords is there, but it doesn't do it.
It worked on my S8.
Can I have my password manager autofill passwords in Duckduckgo and brave as well, so that I don't have to use Chrome?
On my S8, the password manager would sometimes pop up and offer a secure password, but it was also unreliable.
Any advice?
Also, I have Gboard installed but it doesn't seem to add anything password related.

Solved!
Change autofill service to Google in language and input.

My Google Account Hacked!?

Hi so today i logged on my pc.
And google notifies me of suspicious activity on my youtube account.
I never had this happen before and don't know what to do.
Im using a custom rom and gapps with the youtube app as a system app.
Google said they prevented the log in and in the email states that it was used with an application.
I reversed looked up the ip and got some name and addresses but idk if this helps.
what should i do to prevent this?
First make sure it's not a false alarm. It can mean a few different things. Then you should reset ( change ) your Google account password. After that you can either deactivate the account, and make a new one. Which can be a PIA if you have many things connected to your Google account, as many of us do. Or just keep a close watch on the account activity.

Chrome on Android changes my settings - what to do?

Hey, I would like to know if its some option to get back the previous settings in Chrome on Android - on Lenovo TB3 730x (not rooted)?
I wasnt log in to my google account in Chrome browser on my tablet but I was log in to my several google accounts in Gmail, so every user names with its password were remembered by the browser and when I wanted to change my google account to look to gmail or another website, where I was logged by google account I didnt need to fill the password. But then I found I could sync tablet through my main google account and after this sync all my others google usernames and password were deleted - every previous autofill forms are clear. And its not even in my google account (nothing in password.google.com) sync as long as I wasnt log in before the sync.
Is there some option I can get my browser to that previous memory?
Is that somewhere in the caches or saved in internal storage?
Is it possible to find it so browser will reremember that again?
If yes how can I do it?
I am quite technical type, but not IT expert or developer .
Thank you in advance for Your recommendations and tips.

Nobody knows or have experience with that?

Autofill SMS 2FA -how?

Hey all,
I recently wanted to enable 2FA autofill on Android for incoming SMS. I already enabled it under settings autofill, defined Google as autofill option, but it still didn't work whether within PayPal App, nor any websites in Chrome.
What's the trick to get it working?
Thanks
Is no one using this feature? I loved it under iOS and would like to get it working under Android

cert-based authentication

Hi,
We are using a IIS Server to authenticate the user with a certificate against OWA (Outlook Web Access) on Android phones with the Google Chrome Browser.
The authentication is working fine.
But when the device has more than one certificate the user gets a pop-up to chose the right certificate. And the selection is not saved in the Google Chrome Browser. So every time the user wants to access OWA, he has to chose the correct certificate.
Is there a way to bypass this pop-up? And is there a way to store the selection?
Thanks.
